We were in town and found this place. It's perfect for a rainy day. Prices are online and it's all day access. Which is nice bc a lot of kids gyms have a 2 hour or so limit. We were able to actually leave and have lunch, then come back. We stayed 4-5 hours. My kids loved it. There's a ton for them to do and they didn't get bored. I really liked how adults were allowed on most of the attractions too. The staff is extremely friendly and despite these previous reviews, I thought they kept the facility very clean. Yes, some things are not the prettiest but it's a kid gym where parents let their kids do what they want. The employees can only take care of equipment to an extent. I wish this place was closer to us because we def want to return.

No. No. NO! I came here for a child's two year birthday and brought my daughter to celebrate and have fun. I must hate unorganized entertainment because this was short of pure chaos. 1. We got there early to help set up the room for the party, and they informed the hostess that her room wasn't ready yet even though her reservation started in 15min. So we waited for them to kick the other people out and clean everything up. We got access to the room 30min later (so now the party started 15min late), and they were cleaning up and setting up in a speedy way (no, this isn't good). Crumbs and wet spots were on the floor. Tables didn't match the same sizes for you to place your items on. The tables were basically some card tables, which served its purpose, but they could have been the same sizes for uniformity. 2. As for the environment: People bring their kids in for just a fun day, but also for parties. It has the cool idea, but once again...unorganized. They split up the sections for bigger kids, small kids (above 2yrs), and a section for 2yrs and younger (my daughters level). You would think they would have some sort of This place was just bad. All bad. What makes it worse is that it has potential, but some things need to be changed in order for both sides to benefit.

It was amazing to be a Sunday it wasn't that full. And it was clean staff was cleaning around. They let parents go in most of the ride with the kids, and even go with your kids in the slide.

Hyperkidz has gone downhill pretty quickly. Multiple sections are broken or in disrepair and have been so for the past several months. 1. The dolphin carousel: kids are pretty rough on this so guess what happened - it fell out of alignment and now must rely on someone to push it manually. 2. The suction tubes in the ball pit area: these have been in need of repair for over a year. It used to be that you could use your hands to cover up the hole so the balls get sucked up. There are two and neither works even doing that. That renders the whole pulley and maze/path unusable. 3. The ball blasters: one works but there are 7 that don't. All these balls go missing too and even the broken ones are stuffed with ball pit balls that clearly are too big to be shoved in there. 4. The ball hover thing: real technical, but this is the thing that should shoot out air and if you put a ball on top the ball rises. I'm not sure this has ever worked. 5. Balloon "room": not so much broken but there's no balloons. I know this is meant for balloons due to the big fans and the same exact setup at Jolly Yolly Kids, which does contain balloons. 6. Glow sticks/ice cream truck : missing all but 6-8 glow sticks and no play food in the truck. 7. Block area-this is where my son loves to play most but these are so gross! Every block has been bitten many times. They do have a new feature but only for older kids. It's a tall mountain climb with a rope and at the top is a slide, but instead of building new things, the should repair the many features in desperate need of TLC. Hyperkidz used to be over favorite spot and worth the 50 minute drive but there is no way to justify the drive and the price, which has increased despite the quality of the facility going so downhill.

This place gets five stars for the amount of fun it provides kids. However, waivers, birthday organization, and security is lacking. For example, any kid that plays here should have a waiver. No one even asked us if we had signed one or even mention it for that matter. We advised we were there for a birthday and they didn't even ask which one and just handed us wristbands. I understand this could be a staffing issue, but with the amount of money this place takes in per kid they need to hire more help if they can't handle weekend crowds. We paid for one of our kids who wasn't part of the birthday party but they didn't even bother to ask - I'm sure they lose money from people all the time that take advantage of them being overwhelmed. Security is another concern here because there are several exits and no alarms on the secondary doors. They don't even check in parties to know which kids belong to which adult - this is as simple as stamps like Chuck-E-Cheese does. So while it's a great place for the kids and they have a blast, there is definite room for improvement here.

BLUF: Don't waste your money, run-down, lots of safety concerns. Soooo y'all ain't missing anything... this HyperKidz is rundown, not well maintained, things are broken everywhere, some safety hazards (see photos) and NO security/monitors in or out (nor wristbands you're used to seeing at other indoor playgrounds). Not worth the hefty normal price tag or even the cheap one.

The lovely lady Juliana the prevented other kids stomping on my child was amazing. Thanks so much will be back there:)

I love that there are also crafting options, some tables with puzzles as well. In a shopping area so plenty of easy parking. Your child gets to pick a snack at the end which helps with the "I don't want to leave" tantrums Cons: The price is hefty $16 for 1.5 hours. It's hard to get behind this when I can go to a place like me land in chantilly for $10 and unlimited play time with a much bigger space and a lot more to do. The snack helps with that but still, at this price I'll come maybe every other month. At $10, I go every week sometimes multiple times a week. The space is small and they are cleaning while you're playing, in such a small space this feels rude/ puts unneeded pressure on the customer. Especially since they have a gap to clean before the next time slot. Overall: I would come again but not often due to the price. If you have a really crafty kid and only one younger kid I feel the price might become worth it. If you have kids in a spread out age range, or who don't like crafts, or you don't want to deal with the stress of having to be there at a certain time, and leave after just 1.5 hour. There are certainly better options both from an affordability standpoint as well as quality.

This is hands down the cleanest indoor space we've been too and we've been to lots. The staff here were super friendly and regularly cleaning and putting things away. The play space has a town motif with a crafting and art area and then a vehicles, blocks, and dinosaur area. My daughter's favorite was the vet space, followed by the recycling truck. She spent a fair amount of time with the dinosaurs and at the grocery too. We never made it to the play areas on the left side. 90 minutes just really isn't enough time to cover it all if your little spends a long time in one area. I looked online to book play for another weekend and was shocked to see they only offer play 9-1030 on the weekends. I'm a working single mom, child in preschool, and we live in Springfield-essentially the weekend schedule means we won't be able to return without setting out super early. I love the imaginative play concept so I really hope they open a space closer to Fairfax or open up additional weekend play hours.

For most of the visit, it was just me and my two kids so not too noisy which can be a barrier at indoor playgrounds at times for us. He did not want to leave to go home and that's rare for him! Open play is $22/child with $20/ additional siblings for two hour time slots that can easily be reserved online. Typical open play is Sunday 10am-6pm and Friday-Saturday 10am-7pm. Memberships are also available. The gym includes suspended equipment with various types of swings, crash mats and pillows, a zip slider, a trampoline, a small Mario-themed climbing wall, monkey bars, a climbing mountain, a rope bridge, a hammock swing, and a rolling bar slide. Outside of the equipment, there are imagination stations-a vet, a doctor, construction, a kitchen, and a Target store playset. Also a train set and an exercise bike. Lots of various balls scattered about and a separate area for infants and toddlers with lots of toys and a small slide. There is also a separate arts and crafts area and a book nook. In a separate room-the teen room-is a basketball game and air hockey plus lots of puzzles and games and additional sensory squares. Many indoor playgrounds become overwhelming for one of my kiddos and a unique feature here is a calming room with soft lights, weighted blankets, and large pillow chairs. The staff was so kind and helpful too. They were cleaning regularly and offered treats to the kids when they were upset our two hours were up. I wish there was a closer location but this is an amazing resource and we will visit again soon (as in tomorrow)!

However, within minutes, it became clear that this facility is dangerously understaffed and falling apart. My biggest concern is safety. The few staff members present were completely checked out. Instead of monitoring the equipment, they were grouped together looking at their phones. This was terrifyingly apparent on the high ropes course. I watched a young boy climb a set of pillars nearly 15 feet in the air before the attendant finally looked up from her phone to intervene. In an environment like this, that level of negligence is unacceptable. The facility itself looks ok at first glance but is in disrepair. Large strips of rubber were falling off the warped wall, and the general maintenance is appalling. I've attached a photo of the stairs where the lighting fixtures have been ripped out, leaving exposed wiring hanging open right where kids are walking. Between the distracted staff and the crumbling infrastructure, this place is a liability. It feels unsafe and frankly needs to be shut down before a child gets seriously hurt. We will not be returning.

What's great is that you just select a theme from the pictures they have they send you a digital invite to send out and as you get close to the party date, they'll confirm the theme and give you an idea of what the schedule is. That's it that's literally all you have to do. Honestly, if you were to just walk in the door without anything in hand other than a child, your 90 minute birthday party would go off without a hitch. They had the cupcakes, the utensils, the balloons, the beautiful room set up and they had the goodie bags. Honestly, a lot of the parents gave us a compliment on organizing the party and how much fun they had and I felt weird taking any credit for it. We had an assigned party planner that was very invested in making sure everything was running on time and that the room was set up perfectly to our needs. And at the end of the party, they packed everything up for you. What's wild is they actually packed everything back in the original containers organized and ready to go. And then these poor people had to re-organize all the toys that our party had demolished and dragged a different corners of the room all within 30 minutes.
