Very sleek and modern interior in a great location. The atmosphere is trendy and seems to cater…read moremore to a post-workout crowd than a place to sit down and work, especially when you got Travis Scott playing. We tried two of their staple drinks: a Reese's smoothie and a rainbow tea. The Reese's smoothie was okay, but the rainbow tea was too sweet for my taste and didn't feel worth the price. The staff seem to know many of their regulars and do a great job building relationships, which is always nice to see in a local place--especially with their involvement in the high school track fundraiser. My only real concern was the lack of clear nutrition information. Some items, like the protein pretzels, didn't list ingredients or protein content, and the drinks were a bit vague about what they contain.

This establishment uses Herbalife protein and you add a handful of adds ons like fat reducers, immunity boosters, etc to your teas and shakes. This time I went and tried one of their March specials shakes- the better than cake. This one doesn't take the cake for me! It was more watery than other shakes I've had- which I didn't love. And for the price tag was not worth it! I'll stick with my tried and true cafe latte next time. This place has weird hours as they aren't open all day, so make sure you check before going. They usually close at 1 pm most days. The staff is friendly and helpful each time I've been. My kids love the funky monkey shake. They also have specialty shakes for kids too. My daughter likes the tea bombs. This isn't a place we frequent as it's quite expensive, it's usually a treat for us!

With toppings and everything, my regular sized bowl was barely half filled. I ordered two bowls and…read morethe first one, for my sister (pictured on the bottom) was filled up by the worker who rang me up. She was super accommodating and the bowl looked great! The second bowl was filled by I'm assuming a new worker (who didn't even put gloves on?! gross) and she put significantly less of everything in while watching the other worker fill the other bowl appropriately and it's just a bit frustrating since there's such a discernible difference in amounts. I asked if it was done when she put the lid on and tried to hand it to me and she just blank stared at me and said "Yeah." Would not waste almost $15 on a bowl here!!!

Of the Acai bowls I've tried in Ankeny, this place is overall the best in my opinion. Main…read moreStreet's are larger but the acai base is runny and overly sweet, plus there aren't as many options for toppings. Big Acai bowls charges extra for all the toppings and I thought they were either less flavorful or just not sweet enough (or both). The coconut was like little tiny flakes instead of shavings and the peanut butter was just globbed on in one big spoonful instead of drizzled. Frutta Bowls has just the right sweetness, has a good variety of toppings that are included with the price, and the texture/consistency and presentation of the bowls is the best. I agree that the bowls are on the small side but they fill them to the brim. I wish the peanut butter topping was warmed up like some of the acai places do.

Wow, for $8, this salad was NO WHERE NEAR being worth it. It's not the worst salad I've ever had…read morebut for $8? No. I gave this place three stars for its use of fresh veggies and cleanliness of the truck from the outside, but the price and flavors weren't all there. This place is a food truck that's parked on the side of the Sculpture Park. I wonder if it's the fact that I ordered the thai salad or what, but it was not worth it to me. The flavors were lacking but it was mixed with power greens. Also, there were only three options for salads today. I don't know if that's an every day thing, but I didn't think there were enough choices. Maybe we should try one of the other salads they have. Or maybe a smoothie. But still, for the price? I doubt I'm going back.

As long as the food was nothing but a G thang GREAT, I will be more than happy to keep my head ringing and keep me singing for more! I was pretty stoked to see they had a portabella burger and as I ordered it with no dairy, it was amazing to have them pull out a veganaise type spread and ask me if they could use that! I was stoked! Great grilled bello, topped with sautéed onions and mushrooms as well as the rest of the fix-ins for a great burger! I really dug it.. Great flavor and packed to the gills, I like it when a burger gets messy. The fries were also top notch I got to taste the regular and sweet potato ones and both hit the spot! I probably ate way to much and thats ok. I found the truck at the HALL in Valley Junction and the food went perfect with a cold brew! The staff was super nice, the food was great, and hey I look forward to my next fix of Deez Greenz!

I first heard about this coffee shop from a coworker. Their coffee is, quite literally, the best…read morecoffee I've ever had. I'd genuinely love to know which local roasters they source their beans from. What stands out most is how smooth the coffee is--there's absolutely no bitter aftertaste. Their honey brown sugar latte deserves special recognition. So many honey lattes either taste overly artificial or like the honey is barely there at all. Not this one. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and it's honestly one of the best coffee drinks I've ever had. I could drink gallons of it. The quality is fantastic and I've found myself thinking about that latte long after I've finished it. My only complaint is that I don't live closer. If I did, I'd probably be there every day.

The snickerdoodle was perfectly spiced and still had some coffee flavor. The mocha was delicious, certainly an occasional treat as it is more of a coffee milkshake than a coffee. We also ordered the mini apple cider donuts which were okay, they seemed to be plain donuts tossed in cinnamon sugar and the dough had a funny aftertaste. Overall they have a killer menu and a cute & homey sitting area and patio. With so many coffee and caffeine drinks to try- we'll be back!
