Its an expensive service. Make sure you Read The Contract they have you sign, BEFORE giving them your payment information. They make canceling expensive and frustrating by making you sign up for three months/commit, then not letting you cancel without sending you through hoops and a 30 day notification period where they end up charging you an extra month. Also be aware that they now ask for a tip after each session that they preset, starting at 18-20% This was my main reason for canceling. I'll not be back. They can keep that last payment and I will have learned a good lesson in reading a contract before entering into an agreement, expecting transparency. This was my first experience at any hydration clinic. I was initially skeptical. But this works for me. I had been sick for three days and was not getting better. The appointment was easy to make. I had to fill out some paperwork that took about five minutes that I was able to do on my phone. When I arrived, I was greeted by Adriana, who was friendly, professional, and respectful. She introduced me to my nurse Lexie, who was very informative, asked great questions also very professional and compassionate. She was great with setting up the IV. Liz and Kelsey (hopefully I spelled her name right) are the epitome of excellent workers and caretakers. We needed to urgently bring a loved one in for hydration while has never done this before due to Chemo dehydrating and not allowing her to drink fluids. None of us had done something like this before. I had gotten just a b12 shot as my veins weren't cooperating. Kelsey was knowledgeable, professional, gentle with the IV. Liz had ran around, between clients and calls to offer us tea, almonds, etc. Liz as well, was very polite and knowledgeable. If I ran a business and had employees like these two, I would sleep very well at night. Our loved one felt better within minutes of the IV going in. This was a huge help for her, and us all. Bought a pack of B-12 shots on Groupon and decided to come here and see if the shots would make any difference. It was a good deal so I decided to continue - I still don't feel a difference but that's just my personal experience. Scheduling online is a breeze but canceling/rescheduling online is not. You have to call in and have them do it for you. The upside is they offer tons of appointments every few minutes and it's rare that you can't find something to accommodate you. My first two injections were done by male nurses who were funny, friendly and great at making it painless. Now, the downside - the 3rd time I was there, it was a little different than the previous appointments. I got there a few minutes early (as usual) and the office is usually open so I just walk right in. This time, I was early and waited quite some time before a different male nurse came in late. I don't mind that he was late because life happens and i'm not bothered. He let me in, I gave him my info and told him I had an appointment for my B-12. He wasn't very warm or friendly which was off-putting as everyone there prior to him were so friendly! Anyway, I got my shot and he looked like he didn't even want to be there and I was an inconveniencing. So, long story short, that was a few months ago and I haven't been back. I don't really want to run into him again and I can't remember his name so I can ask who the nurse working is. We have been coming to Hydration Room several times. This review is for the bad customer service that we received today from the inexperienced Nurse (Chynna). She was very rude, condescending and incompetent. 1) She gave us a bad attitude when we arrived. She was rudely asking us about number of people that will do the IV therapy. I told her 4 people. 2) When I got in the room Chynna did not ask me if there's any changes in term of my health or medication, she just stick the needle to my right arm. What really bothered me that Chynna moved the needle around inside my arm to find my vein. Then she poked me again on different spot for the second time and did the same thing. 3) Chynna was so upset at my 5 little girl because she was sitting on the lounge chair and gave her a dirty look. 4) I called the Corona Del Mar office to speak with Dr. Brett Florie regarding this incident and he didn't even bother to talk to me. I didn't think that hydration IV would be some thing I would take advantage of but... When desperate times happen, I take drastic measures! The 45 minute service of the cold and flu IV is 100% worth it. I knew I was going on a very strenuous vacation where there were drastic weather changes of heat and cold. I wanted to make sure to hydrate properly through the IV before the trip. It took 45 minutes and the service was done. I'm sitting in a lounge chair, with some hot tea, a pillow, they offer a blanket if I'm cold, and television. It's so quiet and calming that I almost forgot that I had an IV in my arm. For starters I'm pregnant and try to go in at least once a week to stay hydrated and help me with my nausea. I usually always walk-in and now realizing how lucky I was to have Nathan or the other gentlemen (forgot his name), and Mehgan. I did not have a great experience yesterday since the nurse had a difficult time finding a vein. The two guys and Mehgan ALWAYS get my small dehydrated veins the first time around, and their confidence really puts me at ease when doing so. Yesterday the nurse who assisted me was very sweet, and I don't blame her as my veins are usually difficult as I do go in dehydrated making it difficult, but I will definitely be waiting for the other three nurses. My mom also goes in with 96-year-old grandma Mary and Nathan always do such a great job getting the job done the first time around. She gets hydrated weekly with Nathan, and she never complains about him and never feels any discomfort. She had a bad experience with one of the female nurses, and we ended up leaving, but I can't recall her name. The receptionist, I believe her name is Brit (IM SO SORRY IF THAT'S WRONG LOL) shes AMAZING! I sometimes go in with my toddler and Brit is so good with him. She offers to look after him while I get my IV inserted and it means the WORLD to a pregnant momma trying to get hydrated. 100% recommend! I came in feeling like death on the verge of throwing up, shaky and my head pounding. I was always hesitant to try the IV therapy for a hang over because one I thought it was a little expensive and two I didn't want to pay all that money if it didn't totally work but this morning I was desperate and decided to give it a shot. Let me tell you it was 100% worth it. I did the hang over treatment with two bags of fluids and added vitamin C to boost my Immune system. The rest of the day o felt totally fine I was just tired. The nurse needs a better tact. There was a knee jerk reaction to my mask being off as I was seated already when I took a swig of my coffee. I understand the rules of this establishment- masks are required. I walked in with a mask and sat down with a mask. This is my second attempt to post this review as Yelp seemed to think there was something offensive from my other review. I used to be a member and come here a lot, as well as other branches and I stopped for a while and rather glad this visit will be my last. Im a registered nurse as well- im not taking anything lightly, I wasnt walking in coughing and sneezing- I was a healthy individual who took off her mask to DRINK coffee. Part of the service of a place who boasts "wellness" is to provide proper polite treatment which makes for a client relationship. Not a sharp reprimand and not even in a polite way- just calling out- loudly- thats a disrespect. The nurse walked out, saw me without a mask and flat out spoke from across the room I needed to put my mask on. I pointed to my coffee and she seemed to think instead that I pointed to the sign on their small side table that said no answering of your phone in the room. It was odd. Not a great experience. First I'll start with the receptionist because she was 5 star service, friendly and polite. I've been battling a respiratory infection all week and had a lingering cough( I had already tested negative) they made me take another one to be safe and said I was positive but wouldn't give me the results, I went to straight to my doctor and tested negative again. Nathan is the man! As someone who travels as frequently as I do and partys hard till the sunrises, I highly recommend getting a customized IV before any big trip. It's like cheating the system. You feel fantastic the entire time and are able to keep going even off of such little sleep. Comes in handy when you're trying to do some site seeing and have some alcohol while doing so! I just recently did the NAD+ therapy as well. So far I've noticed colors in my vision are more vibrant. I was able to wake up early without any hassle today and it feels like my body is adjusting and coming back to life all the way down the tendons and attachments of my tissue. Very nice environment. Originally difficult to locate because it's INSIDE the gym. I wish there was a Parentheses in the title or something. If it weren't for a phone call to the office where they picked up, I would've driven straight home. Overall, I was greeted by the receptionist in a very white sunny room. Immediately I saw that the environment was very calm, and the receptionist was really nice; she greeted me by my name. After filling out the medical information on the iPad, I was led to the back room where I receive my B12 shot in the gluteal's. It was a very pleasant experience. The B12 is in a red syringe and it was very effective because I was able to exercise straight after without feeling tired throughout the entire day. After being the new patient , B12 shots are $25 a pop. If you're into IV hydration it is $85 a pop. I will probably return in the future. They were also very nice to my mom treating us with the upmost care and professionalism. read more
