Your hometown diner. Is reasonable and basic. Eggs cooked good and sausage was good. Breakfast potatoes nasty

Adorable vintage diner with all-day breakfast, dinner plates, and PIE. Opened in 1946, Hyde's offers your classics...roast beef, fried chicken, etc. They also serve breakfast all day and have daily pie specials. Like others have mentioned, parking can be difficult, but it's worth it. The service was fast and friendly, and the food wasn't fancy, but it was delicious. The restaurant, itself, maintains its vintage ambiance, but seems clean and well-maintained. It is legit.

Great food and service. Definitely would recommend for a good breakfast. They even have old fashioned candy up at the register.

The dry and chewy Roast Beef

Been a few since I was last here. Had the roast beef with mashed potatoes and green beans. The roast beef was insanely dry, like eating leather. Food wasn't hot at hot, beans were okay, at best. Wife had the liver and onions and had the same experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our waiter was a solid fella, John I think was his name. Atmosphere was okay, seemed like a an old folks home type of place. We brought the average age down by 10 minutes. Definitely not worth what we paid at all.

    French toast (1/2 eaten piece)

Our first visit here we could not have found a more inviting place for breakfast. Wife had French toast which she enjoyed. I had the Western omelette that was cooked perfect. It was a stuffed omelette with more topping on top and the hash browns are crispy and tasty and not overly salty. The biscuit was the real star of my meal. These are never frozen. Never out of a can-biscuits made fresh each day and you will tell that from the first bite you take. No butter needed because the butter is baked right in. Service was great even though they were very crowded. We had to wait slightly longer than normal for a meal but they kept us apprised of the wait and the meal was delivered very hot and fresh off the grill. We will be back and would encourage you to go if you've not been there before.

    Western "omelet"

The food was absolutely terrible! Service was great though. The egg on the omelette was paper thin, the veggies were hardly cooked. And there was NO CHEESE on it. Then when she brought our plates back with cheese all they did was slap on some American slices..... didn't even melt them. This was one of the worst experiences and to have this experience on Mother's Day. I don't think I will ever be going back to Hyde's again.

This would be my last meal. I freaking love Hyde's. The people are always nice and the food is amazing. And that's the tea.

Tasteless burgers and our salad come with the cheese in the wrapper! Don't order the burgers no taste and to much onions.

Food is ok, value not so much. Service we had was awful but maybe the waitress was having a bad day. Shouldn't matter.

They are located on the back side of the Bridgewater Falls shopping area. Inside is modern and minimalist, but clean and welcoming. Menu in chalk on the walls, plenty of seating inside, I don't believe there are any seats outside, or maybe just the time of year being cold. The girl behind the counter was very nice and made my drink perfectly. I got their standard milk tea with black teas as the base and with boba of course. The tea itself was sweet, not overly sweet though and the boba's were excellent. Soft, sweet with a hint of honey. The Boba can make or break a boba shop. Living in Los Angeles, there are so many places to choose from, but not all are good, sometimes the boba is off. Milk Jar does the drink perfect as well as the Boba, so I was really happy to find a great spot in Ohio to get boba whenever I come to visit Family. I would recommend you trying them out for their drinks and boba. They also have rolled ice cream and shaved ice, both of which I did not try but looked very good. Enjoy!

They have a great variety of drinks, rolled ice cream, and cereal bowls to choose from. They do offer samples of their teas for you to try. That was nice and it really helped make the decision what to get. The price of the drinks were comparable to other places. The drinks we ordered tasted really good and refreshing. We didn't care for their joke of the day when we were in there. Overall, it's a good place to get boba tea and other refreshing tea or fruit drinks. Maybe one day we will try their rolled ice cream....it sounded good.

I asked for a nice table, but they sat us next to the bar... I'm not sure why since the other dining room was open and no one was in there eating The food was no better than what you could get at the Denny's restaurant... the service was no better than a poorly managed diner, and the ambience was that of a slightly elevated cafeteria... Flavorless, dry salmon, a house wine that ended up being sparkling, despite the fact that it didn't claim to be so on the menu, and a waitress in blue jeans and a sweatshirt that might as well have been working at McDonald's... If you're going to claim to be a fine dining restaurant... Maybe you should pay a little more attention to the fine detail. I can't recommend this restaurant unless you're all about paying a lot of money for very little wow factor.

I can say what a surprise it was to see this was located within a retirement complex. But ever open to new dining experiences we parked and went in. We were greeted right away and had only a very short wait for our table. The ambiance is very relaxing with lots of wood. Their menu was not too extensive but featured a range of items. They have a full bar and offer specialty cocktails. Our server was pleasant and the food arrived in a timely manner and was very good. I have no complaints. And if this is what is available for retirement living it's a great option. I must note there were obvious younger patrons also. So it seems as if the community enjoys it too.
