From the moment you walk in it's clear that this hotel is very meticulously maintained. It's next door to the mall so the location is extremely convenient. My room was very comfortable with a nice view of the courtyard area downstairs. My only feedback is that the customer service wasn't up to par. There was one or two nice people at the front desk but the rest were very short with us. I have high expectations for Hyatt so that left me on the fence about this location.

A good solid HR option in Tysons. You can walk into the mall without ever walking outside. They have a restauarxt and bar and fitness center, but got rid of their indoor pool. That's a shame. Parking at the mall parking lot is $10 overnight. Their Regency club has a full spread for breakfast (no smoked salmon) with four hot food options, and light food in the evening (no hot food option) with plenty of seating. Room has two queen beds and one of the smaller TV's with no Chromecast :( I've seen at Hyatts. Good water pressure for shower/tub combination. Nice blackout curtains too. Like the darker color tones. For those who have girls that love American Girl dolls, you can buy a doll bed for $15! My girl was so happy.

Came here 06/06/2023. This is a business hotel for those at Amazon and Capital One, but also any other companies. For context, I am a Hyatt Globalist. I was upgraded to a Plaza Suite upon arrival which is a premium suite. Nice gesture by the hotel. They were totally booked up because there was some kind of convention. The Plaza Suite is enormous and has a full dining table for 6-8 people. Lots of space for one person, and the bathroom was huge with a tub that's in the shower (love that). Regency Club offerings are lacking, especially during lunch. Breakfast spread is decent. The location is great because it's connected to the Tysons Corner mall. You can also walk across the bridge to get on the Metro and go to DC. I would recommend this hotel for families.

Tried the bar in the lounge. Cocktail tastes good and service was ok. Can see the view with lighted trees outside so this is definitely a plus.

Let me start with the good things about this hotel first: Close to mall, house keeping were professional and good water pressure for the shower. Then there's more worse things about the place which is why I would NOT recommend it! 1st room temperature in the room is hot and AC doesn't get any colder than 65, and feels like 70 actually! When I talked to hotel staff they offered a fan! 2. There's mold in the bathroom that's visible! 3. To use the PC at lobby there's a hold of $25 and $1.50 to print 1 page I was told it was free. No big deal, just staff did know this! 4. Parking isn't free, but that's understandable for the location. 5. Rooms are a little outdated. But mostly, not happy with how the front desk handled our complaint on room temperature.

I had a free night certificate to use so I decided to stay here for a staycation during the Holidays and figured we could do some shopping at Tysons Corner. At the time when I stayed their club lounge was only available for Hyatt Globalist and only for breakfast. For breakfast, it was mostly pre-packaged food but they had eggs and sausage available upon request. We got an upgraded room since I had Globalist status. Rooms were nice and front desk agent was friendly. The parking here sucks though. They have a limited amount of parking reserved in the mall parking garage and you have to fight with the mall traffic. I did love the hotel bar/restaurant. They have excellent beer on draft and it was pretty lively. Bartenders were great!

Stayed here for a night during a business trip/dinner for my husband's company. The location was great-right next to the mall and many restaurants. Parking of course cost extra. We were lucky to get a room with a great view of the courtyard below so you could watch all the hustle and bustle. It was a beautiful summer day so there were people playing music (which you can hear from your room) and many enjoying patio cocktails at the neighboring restaurants. The room was clean and had all needed general amenities. The shower was nice and large. Quality complementary toiletries provided. Had a good sized desk area which I worked at for a bit after checking in. Basic Wifi was free. It was good enough to sit my work needs. Nice robes to enjoy while staying at the hotel. The bed was comfy, but the pillows for were a bit small and lacking in my opinion. The negatives of our stay was the checkin and departure process. My husband made the reservation, but dropped me off to check in while he parked. The hotel front desk wouldn't let me check in as my name wasn't on the reservation. Didn't matter if I showed ID showing the same last name or have personal information to show my relation. They would only accept me calling my husband and him verbally giving the ok. It just felt like a weird verification system- I mean I could of called anyone? Why is that better? It was just odd. Also, we turned in our room keys when we checked out, as one does, but you needed them to get out of the parking garage. My husband had to go back and get them to swipe. This made recycling the room keys basically not possible. Also a odd system.

Clean room and very conveniently located to my office. The room service is fast in the morning, only 15 minutes. The business center can be a bit loud depending on how busy they are. The view is of the parking lot but there is some greenery looking out further out.

My husband and I enjoyed a staycation at the Hyatt Regency to celebrate our anniversary. We checked in around 4, check in was very smooth, quick and easy. The room was nice and clean. We checked the mattress for bed bugs and Im happy to report we didn't find anything. The mattress itself is on the firm side. I prefer a softer memory foam but everyone is different. The best part about this hotel is the proximity to the mall and restaurants/nightlife in the plaza.

INTEGRITY I recently checked out this 10th of july 2023.. an hour and a half after I checked out. I called to say i left my 1 watch and 2 rings. To which i even remember clearly where i left them.I have to follow up the next day if they found the items and waited for their email. And as shocked as i was it was never found. The integrity and honesty as to who is responsible for this grave act can never be resolve as long as they continue to patronize such act.. A REMINDER TO ALL OF US.

Stay at this hotel for my business trip. Place is located near my work & next to the mall, which is perfect. Hotel is nice and clean. Bed is very comfortable. The only issue that I have is, parking is not free. $16 for self park for weekday and $10 self park on weekend. There's plenty hotel near by that parking is free.

I normally don't stay here when I'm in the area. I chose this hotel over the other ones nearby because I've heard so many good things about the Hyatt and its location. It's convenient and has a lot of restaurants and the mall nearby. The room was clean but the lighting was terrible. The hallway light that's in front of the mirror is very dim. The lights in the bathroom were also dim. There is also no signage for the gym anywhere (most hotels have one in the elevator) so had to ask the front desk. I got in late (last 12am) and asked the front desk if there was anything open nearby. She responded with check your app like Uber Eats and proceeded to talk to her coworkers. Service was disappointing. I gave it more stars than I would because of its location.

The hotel is remarkable in that it is connected to Tyson's Corner Center, making it very easy to get to the center of the mall right near the food court and restaurant area (including a Starbucks just a few seconds into the mall). The hotel's primary entrance goes out into the Tysons Corner Center second floor plaza, which is truly beautiful and has an incredible amount of amenities such as couches with fire places, stone seating, trees and a fake grass mini-park, and quick access to the metro station and a few other buildings and restaurants. The room was comfortable, even if it felt just a bit small. It was clean and the shower excellent. The television worked great and the view of the plaza was just incredible, whether during the day or at night. The bed was comfortable and fresh. It was somewhat unclear where the amenities (gym, etc.) were and how they were to be accessed. There was a vending machine on the floor with sodas. The room's minibar had just a few waters. Barrel and Bushell is an excellent restaurant and bar that is part of the hotel and features an incredible array of drinks and foods for every meal. The hours are superb, ranging from early morning to late at night. It is often packed, as many travel from across the region to go to it, but has lots of seating both indoors and outdoors (when weather permits). The hotel has a parking area on the fourth floor of the mall which is cordoned off, as the mall does not allow overnight parking in the general parking garage. The fee at the time I went was $10 a night, which is quite excellent. The hotel is incredibly located, has a great restaurant, and is kept in excellent condition. Well-recommended.

I am writing this review on behalf of my parents - although, this isn't entirely based on hearsay…read morebecause I have stayed in this hotel a few times myself. As a family, we adore this particular Ritz Carlton in Tyson's Corner. It's probably our favorite hotel collectively - you can't beat the amenities, the service, the staff, and the location. My parents have consistently gone back to this hotel for a yearly weekend getaway consistently for nearly 20 years, continuing to choose that hotel despite the ever-changing landscape due to COVID. Therefore, it is with great disappointment that I write this negative review about this hotel because it has truly served us well over the years. My parents booked a weekend trip from November 14th through the 17th in celebration of my mom's birthday. Unfortunately, my mother came down with COVID-pnemonia that week, showing symptoms on the evening of Monday Nov. 12th with an official diagnosis by the evening of Tuesday Nov. 13th. Realizing that they could not travel under such conditions, my father canceled the booking for their weekend trip via the website on Wednesday, Nov. 14th. While he was able to cancel the trip, the company withheld a 500 dollar, non-refundable charge because it was 'not within the three day limit' as stated on their website. Now the problem here is this - what constitutes as three days? Are we talking a full 36 hours here or are we talking three days as counting by fingers? Because the trip was canceled Wednesday morning with a 4pm Friday arrival - Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are three days. I hate to cherrypick the Bible (although it is common practice these days), but if we're going by Jesus' rules, he died on a Friday afternoon and was resurrected on a Sunday morning, and it constitutes as three days by church law - but apparently, this timeline is not good enough for the Ritz Carlton. Believing this was unfair, my father called the hotel themselves and explained the situation - they are longtime customers, my mom was nearly hospitalized due to Covid, they had a doctor's note as proof, is there anything they could do to lessen this exorbitant cancellation fee? The staff's answer was essentially "apologies, but no." The staff said my father should have called the hotel directly instead of canceling it online and they could have done more for them, and that it actually wasn't three days but more like two and a half, and the charge would unfortunately stay. Now, we understand that hotels are subject to inflation and economic woes due to the state of the world, and some sort of penalty due to the cancellation is understandable - but let's look at the facts here. My mother was diagnosed with a highly contagious virus, and they did the right thing by canceling their trip a few days before as opposed to risking several people in the hotel. This was not a morning-of cancellation - this was a cancellation on Wednesday for a trip that technically wouldn't begin until check-in time at 4pm on Friday. Was there absolutely nothing the management staff could have done to rectify or soften this blow? If removing the fee was out of the question, there are other things the management could have done instead of saying "sorry, not sorry" about the 500 dollar charge. They could have offered a voucher, or a credit for rebooking a different weekend, or offered free dinner at one of their restaurants - something to make up for this loss. My parents would have accepted any of these things - because really, THEY are the ones missing out here - no trip, a terrible illness, and out 500 dollars because they did the right thing by canceling. To me, this is just poor business practice. It is important to reward loyal customers, and the Ritz-Carlton is supposed to be the height of luxury - and yet, apparently the 500 dollars is more important than maintaining a 20-year long relationship. It's truly disappointing. The irony is that the Ritz Carlton has a '$2000 rule' to make guests happy, but apparently they need my parents' 500 dollars in order to make this golden rule work for other customers.

Stanley, I believe that was his name, was polite to the prior Asian customers extenuating his French accent and talking about the omelets that they can receive in the morning and checked in those customers with no mention that they were running out of rooms. When I went to check in (the French accent disappeared), all of a sudden, he stated that the hotel was overbooked and that I need to take your card to complain and look elsewhere for a room. Given that my reservation was valid and the hotel appeared to be operating normally, I am left to wonder why I was singled out and rejected. The lack of a professional or logical explanation for this denial of service raises serious concerns for me regarding potential discrimination. In all my years of travel, I have never encountered a situation where a paid, confirmed booking was ignored at the point of check-in without cause. This incident caused me significant distress and financial harm. Because I was turned away at the last minute, I was forced to secure alternative accommodations at a different hotel. Due to the short notice, I had to pay significantly more than my original booking--resulting in a direct financial loss and extreme inconvenience.

Spring, Sprung Staycation in Tyson Corner…read more It was a lovely evening at this beautiful Hilton, steps or a few miles away from the Mall. Everything was very modern. I was able to check-in on my Hilton App, active the elevator also with the app and unlock the room door. I also text the front desk, to add parking to my bill. It was a restful night, at a reasonable rate, I'd definitely stay here again. Occasionally, it is good to run away from home, to reset one's mind and achieve great relaxation. Usually, I leave the country, to go to "mental" nirvana. This time Tyson helped me achieve bliss. Thank you, Hilton for a wonderful, inspiring and restful evening.

Staff was very helpful. There had been a storm and street was still dirty with snow. We stayed in this hotel due to our flights being missed during connection. So next day we were leaving hotel and they couldn't take us to hotel. We tried to call uber but phones weren't working and there was no electricity. We asked them if due to circumstances they couldn't take us still allow the shuttle to take us and we pay but still said no. We walked a bit further from hotel but no phone Connections either. We had to beg the manager to try to help us get a taxi and they finally did. After I arrive in Europe I noticed hotel charged me $5.95 and I called to ask why and for what that extra charge was and no one responded. I emailed them and still no response. I absolutely detest when hotels try to get away with fraudulent charges just because it's small.

Lovely event space for meetings, social events, etc. Perfectly situated in Tysons corner…read more Networking friend invited me here yesterday for a cigar and wine sampling. She's a board member. They had a really nice spread laid out including lamb chops, crab balls, beef meatballs and assorted salads and such. Those meatballs on toothpicks were really good too (definitely not the frozen ones you generally see in such spaces). The food was particularly well done - you could even taste the mint in the lamb. I've been here a couple few times over the years and I enjoyed coming here last night. I had a sampling of a bourbon and did a red wine which both were nicely done. (dude gave me an extra helping of the red wine) We smoked cigars out on the balcony deck and chopped it up for a bit. All in all it was a good night. Highly recommend this place for convenience, for sure.
