Worse experience we have ever experienced! The 5 th floor smelled like black mold! We try to get help. They would answer but no one would come to help. They offered to move us to a room but it was two singles at 11 pm ish ! I think the health department should be notified! I got sick and no way to contact anyone to report this! That's why I resulted in writing this review! We have been here over ten stays and all have been great except this one! Others problems weee key did not work for parking or the elevator! The tv didn't work half the time! Just a very poor experience! We also was interrupted late at night because they got the wrong room for a night bed ! I have always have had great experience with Hilton. Just very sad!

Day 1-Checked in on Sunday, it was annoying. The guy wrote the wrong room number on my key packet because my fam couldn't get into the room and I realized that it didn't match my Hilton digital key room number. Turns out digital keys do not work for everything and I always rely on digital keys. The guy said I could just scan my digital key for the garage but it didn't work. I also couldn't get into the executive lounge with the digital key, it kept showing up that the lounge was closed on my app so the guy led me through the side entrance for the lounge. I had to go back and forth to the front desk because my physical and digital keys also did not work for the lounge. Someone else told me the digital keys don't work for the garage or loungemy digital key did not work again when I came back from dinner and my sister couldn't get into the room bc she went back first without us and had to get another key at the front desk. The tv was just static and the menu button doesn't work. Apparently you have to just change the channels , only the up/down buttons for both channel and volume work.... menu button doesn't do anything. My fridge also wasn't working so engineer brought me a second fridge. Day 2-giving up. We had to change rooms bc my baby got bit on her leg, aunt itchy and I got bit on the chair while pumping. Carla was very responsive and quickly came up with the head of cleaning up to my room within 5 minutes of me calling front desk to ask for bed sheet change. They gave me an option of room change and deep cleaning while we were out, but pushed for us to change room so they can do more to investigate. They checked our skin also which I really appreciated. This can happen at any hotel so I'm happy with the quick response. She has amazing energy, unlike the other people at the front desk. Thank you so much Carla! Seriously, everyone else needs to learn how to smile because I dealt with the same two afternoon people since checking in and it's sooo unwelcoming. I had also had another issue with the new room, the sink water took forever to go down and I'm washing baby bottles and pump stuff so it's a super slow process. I called the desk and even over the phone, I could tell that the rep, Mike, was friendly and welcoming! The tv in this room kept having no signal. I'm so sad. Both rooms I'm on the 7th floor club level.... It's just so many issues one after another and it's tiring with a baby. Also we kept getting disconnected from the wifi. Day 3- engineer came in the morning and tried to unclog our sink when we were away. When we came back, we still had the same issue. Another engineer came up. Front desk said they may have to move us. I'm so sad and tired Day 4- Moved across from my second room so it was a lot easier to Move than the first time. I noticed that my second room, no one refilled the conditioner and third room, my shower gel was empty. But we were rudely awakened by the alarm clock at midnight. Someone set an alarm and my sister tried turning it off while sleepy, apparently hit snooze instead so we got woken up again. She tried unplugging it and it went off again, turns out she pulled the wrong one out so she had to pull again. So annoying. Day 5- the air conditioning randomly makes squeaky annoying sounds at 5am, 645am. Im soooo annoyed but not as annoyed as the prior days. Can't have everything perfect but I'm really not asking for much. They also said they checked our first room But didn't find any bugs. Staff was amazing, returned my shoes from my first nights stay in another room. Apparently I forgot it under the bench but they found it and tracked me back to my 3rd room. Thanks so much! Breakfast at the executive lounge vs restaurant: only difference is location and having an extra coffee machine/sodas at lounge. An extra person for the breakfast is about $10. The lounge is open for drinks (no alcohol) and fruits but definitely this is one of the most underwhelming Lounges we've been to. They have snacks from 5-7pm and everyday they have something different. The first day it was salad and fried chicken bites. Second day it was salad (strawberry dressing) and crab cakes. Third day meatballs and Cesaers salad. Wednesday was pasta, dumplings and hummus/pita bread. Friday was fried gyoza. Restaurant staff is friendly. Carla was great! She comped my parking for our troubles and always makes sure you're taken care of. Overall Angie, and her colleague, Stashia, were professional and friendly. Everyone else needs to work on smiling and pretend to enjoy working in customer service. This is the reason why people have different feelings when checking in, half the staff is unfriendly and half the staff is great. The good staff are all working together on the same shift and the unfriendly staff are working together. That's my observations from staying here for 7 days! This hotel is on the older side but all I ask for is a comfy bed and workable sink/shower. Took 3 tries to get peace.

Opted for this hotel because of the close proximity to the Metro, to get me back to DC. I never stayed in this part of Virginia and figured, why not? I arrived almost two hours prior to check-in, they didn't haggle me about it and gave me a key. The room was a basic double room, nothing fancy about it. This surely wasn't the base Hilton I've stayed at, but was more suitable. The bed was on the smaller side and the pillows were awful. Aside from that, the room was just fine. As I mentioned before, the Metro is right downstairs, which makes this a perfect stay if you want to go back and forth to DC or even to Maryland for your stay.

I definitely LOVE staying at Hilton hotels! Like LOVE them! Now since i couldn't make it home I had stay the night in dc. Now I'm bummed out because there were No rooms closer to the airport so.. i had to come out this way! Now it's a lot further than i would like but i used my points to cover the room! Thank God for being a Gold member lol! But.. i will say starting with the staff.. everyone was super friendly and helpful. Lobby, clean! Smelled good! The upkeep was great! Got to my room.. and it didn't have that "funny" smell how some rooms have! It was just clean. I mean it just looks great! NOW my only complaint is.. they don't have shuttle service! BUT thank you guys sooo much!

Peloton is not well maintained- stripped out bolt that does not allow seat adjustment

It is nice that their exec lounge is open (the only one that Hilton still has in the dc metro). Disappointed that using the peloton requires the rider bring their own internet. Would seem like something they could solve.

We stay here for a couple of nights and has Hilton diamond members. We were given access to the club lounge in a room at the club level. The lounge doesn't sit on the level but it's actually encased inside the restaurant downstairs. Breakfast is available every morning over there in the restaurant and lounge share a common buffet breakfast, which actually makes life a little bit easier. The breakfast buffet consists of pastries, some hot food, toast, juice, fruit, and espresso machine is a nice touch exclusively to the lounge. They have paid parking lot by them, which is a little more reasonable compared to the ones in downtown DC. However, it is disappointing that they do not have an EV charging station. The hotel itself is centrally located to wonderful restaurants in Arlington area. There's a train station right next to it that takes you to downtown DC. It is highly convenient. I wish the managers reception every evening in the lounge did not exclusively have just a single hot item, especially when it was made with crabcakes. A lot of people can be allergic to shellfish so that was a bummer. The restaurant has a very basic menu, especially for alcohol. I would rather go next-door to some of the nicer, pubs and restaurants to grab a drink. The staff is really nice here and for the price this hotel is pretty good. I will likely return to this hotel in the future.

This was me after I graduated from Hilton U on Caturday.

I loved my King Deluxe room. Was perplexed by the "still" water that definitely moved and wasnt still when I jostled the bottle. It was $6.50 and with my diamond status I properly scoffed at the cost and stuck with the two free bottles of Deer Park (not still, but natural spring water).

It explains why…read morethe Hilton Garden Inn Arlington is an excellent choice to stay at--beyond just being a very nice hotel. I was in the area to attend a funeral at Arlington National Cemetery and needed accommodations nearby, so I booked at the Hilton Garden Inn Arlington. I've been a Hilton Honors member since 2005 and have always enjoyed consistently smooth experiences at Hilton properties. Since the service was scheduled for early afternoon, we requested an early check-in to give us time to prepare. The staff went above and beyond: they coordinated with the head of housekeeping to have a room ready for us. When we arrived at noon, everything was spotless and waiting. The real reason for this detailed review, though, happened at checkout. I accidentally left my toilet kit in the room. Once I returned home, I called the hotel, and the team made the process incredibly easy and stress-free. I first spoke with Mr. Adam Shewan-Gezaw, the Housekeeping Manager, who quickly located the item and explained the return options. Then Mr. Garry Reynolds, Front Desk Supervisor, followed up with an email that included additional contact details for Mr. Shewan-Gezaw, Ms. Joanne Solis (Housekeeping Supervisor), and Mr. Dimitri Dittimus (Guest Services Agent). Mr. Dittimus even reached out to me personally to provide updates on the progress. Everyone treated the matter with genuine care and urgency, even though the kit contained nothing of significant monetary value--just a few items that hold personal, sentimental meaning to me. Their attentiveness and teamwork were truly impressive. I can't thank the entire Hilton team enough for going the extra mile. In the end, sometimes any hotel will suffice. But when you encounter conscientious, customer-focused people like this, you know you'll be in excellent hands. Highly recommend.

The Hyatt Place in Arlington was a wonderful stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed wasn't the best hotel bed, but it wasn't horrible. It just felt more like a futon than a bed. What made the stay was the staff. From the hotel clerks, to the kitchen ladies, to housekeeping and maintenance; everyone I met was kind, accommodating and so friendly. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The individual quiches were sublime! Honestly, one of the best hotel stays I've ever had. I wish I still had my photos, but I deleted them after I posted my initial review. Stay at the Hyatt Place with confidence.

This particular one is in a decent location, close to a metro stop and within walking distance of some restaurants not too far away. The rooms are exactly what you'd expect from a Hyatt Place, with the bed(s), couch, mini-fridge, bathroom, etc... Yet my experience here felt a bit subpar relative to my other stays at Hyatt Place hotels. This is mainly because of two minor things. First, I felt my interactions with staff were a bit frustrating. They were perfectly nice and polite, but I feel a bit slow. Upon check in, they asked for a credit card to take a security deposit and I asked them to charge it to the card on file. They either didn't understand or refused. I gave them the same card I had on file. It was the same thing. But that always annoys me and takes up more time than necessary. At breakfast the next day, they rope off the lobby creating a single entry point where they check your name for breakfast. Typically the free breakfast at Hyatt Place hotels is open and you just walk in. While I recognize this method is susceptible to random people walking in to take advantage of the breakfast, having a guest list to check off for such a basic (arguably not even good) breakfast seems a bit uninviting and indeed, time consuming. This is a perfectly fine hotel to stay at when in the area. But compared to the standard Hyatt Place experience, it falls short. Three stars.

I was on the fence to book this place given its hefty price tag, and glad I went for it and completely agree with the glowing 5 star reviews. The bubbly host Manisha is very warm and welcoming. She cordially gave us a 20 min tour around the property, which was built in 1908, and even gave me a bonus tour of the other rooms afterwards. She kindly answered all of our questions and didn't rush us. The Peacecock Room is the most spacious and best room (aside from the bridal suite), elaborately decorated in peacocks. We loved it! The little touches like the handmade soap, a set of wine glasses, and a wine opener made the stay so memorable and special. While the rooms aren't temperature controlled, the electric flameless fireplace kept the room warm. The double capacity jacuzzi was perfect for my hubby and I and even had lights (some of the other rooms have smaller jacuzzi, so be sure to check). The rooms were clean minus a couple of lady bugs and stink bugs (which is too be expected out in the country). Dr. Fauci's assistant stayed here and Manisha informed us of the extensive sanitation process, even the pillows and decorations are quarantined for 6 days! The backyard is well groomed and really spacious with a nice patio and heat lamp, which kept us warm sitting outside in the frigid winter. Our dog loved running around! You can see the stars and constellations really well. It would make a great wedding venue! The Christmas decorations around the property are really nice. The owners really go the extra mile and put a lot of TLC into the property. The 6 course breakfast is delicious and bursting with flavor. Between the veggie quiche, cheesy potatoes, scone, pancakes, yogurt, and fresh OJ, I was stuffed! The fresh butterscotch scone was divine and devoured my mine and my hubby's! The cheesy potato had a nice spicy kick. Everything was so fresh and delicious. All the courses come out at once on a large tray. While my hubby and I chose to sit at the communal table (the chairs are roughly 6 feet apart), you can take the tray up to your room. Manisha and her family greeted us and thoroughly explained the dishes and chatted with us for a bit, even her son made an appearance! The bed and breakfast has a nice bar with wine, cider, and alcohol based on an honor code system. Water and soda is complementary, they even had Coke 0! The complementary fudgy brownies by the breakfast area during the day were sweet and tasty. Again the little complimentary stuff gives this bed and breakfast a nice resort feel. Very relaxing stay and looking forward to coming back!

Other travelers had recommended it to me, and I can see why. It's a comfortable, modern hotel with a friendly staff that makes you feel welcome. The rooms and common areas are well kept, and the location is excellent. The room was very nice with a large bed, a large headboard, a business area, a lounge, refrigerator and microwave. It has 2 window treatments: 1 for limiting light and one for blocking the light totally. Each of these work with a chain arrangement. It's just steps away from the main Shirlington shops, including restaurants like Busboys and Poets, cafes, and even grocery stores. The whole area around the hotel seems very walkable. It feels like a nice little neighborhood rather than just another hotel strip. The one drawback is parking. You do have to pay, and the garage is about a block away rather than right under the hotel. It's manageable, though, and, I think, the convenience of the area makes up for it. Overall, this Hilton Garden Inn is a really good choice if you're visiting the DC area. The mix of comfort, service, and the nice neighborhood makes it a place I'd gladly recommend to others and hope to return to in the future.
