    Clean room! Very pretty.

We came into DC late and the night staff were alert and so friendly even though it was midnight. Thank you Sarah and James. Also, Leslie on the morning of our check out was very friendly and had a lovely disposition and lastly the lady working at the coffee bar, Valenia, was especially friendly and had a great disposition. Our room was clean and the hotel was lovely. Highly recommend

We were in town to explore DC. My daughter chose this location and it was a great choice. Our plane landed at 3:50pm so after getting the rental car, we arrive after check-in started so we were able to check-in upon arrival. Check-in was fast, staff was courteous, and our room was clean and spacious. They gave valet parking for $45/night and in the same garage there's parking for $35 through Spot Hero. Access to the Metro station is right out the back doors where you can easily get on heading to DC. Had we known it's conveniently located, we could've skipped the rental car. There's a small snack area near the front desk. There's also a Target and Starbucks is a short walk up the street. If I ever return to the DMV area, I'll definitely stay again.

We are here while we were on vacation and had a good time! Just past the lobby area there are stairs that'll take you up to their modern lounge area where you can sit at the bar and arch sports or have a seat at one of their tables to enjoy a face to face meal with your loved ones! To drink I had the mango margarita which was very strong but so good! If you're also a mango lover I would highly recommend this drink! We were on the move to other places as well so I kept it simple and ordered the truffle fries appetizer and a Caesar salad to eat. The salad was larger than what I had anticipated which I was pleasantly surprised by, and the truffle fries were an absolute home run, along with the tasty aioli! Next time I am in the area I might try staying at the hotel, as it's conveniently located to a lot of restaurants and shops in the area and the staff was super friendly as well!

Very impressed with the hotel and my stay. I arrived to a tight valet parking entrance. I gave the valet my key and said keep the car for the night. Once inside, I was greeted by the hotel staff. They gave me a brief run down about the hotel and how to retrieve my car the next morning. Fan-say! Once I get my room key, I'm whisked up to my room. I make sure l have the proper soaps and towels and then I head out the door. The hotel is situated close to the walking bridge to Georgetown. No Uber needed, I walked over a mile, had a nice dinner and then hailed an Uber back. My room had a comfortable bed, a nice shower and I felt like a million bucks the next day. I texted for my car, that service doesn't work! The front desk had to intervene, no biggie. Nice overnight stay, I would return.

Bob Woodward and the FBI Informant (deep throat) met here several times to break the Watergate scandal

We stayed here as part of a large school group. The hotel is in a perfect location and is ideal for those looking to be near the Pentagon, Crystal City or DC. We loved the comfortable and spacious rooms, the price and the location. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but this is to be expected in DC. The staff was really nice and professional. One lesser known fact is that the parking deck that served as the secret meeting location between the FBI informant (deep throat) and the Washington Post writer (Bob Woodward) regarding the Watergate scandal is directly across the street. If you want an affordable hotel that is a short drive to DC or walking distance to Arlington, this is a great location.

I thought it was a great place to stay near the Rosslyn Metro Station. The location is exceptional. Everything you can possibly need or want is close by. Plenty of shopping, restaurants, and places to see. There was even a beer garden nearby. Just an awesome part of town. The staff were all wonderful. They greeted me every time I entered or left the hotel. I felt safe being in a room on the 16th floor. The bed was comfortable. There was even a motion sensor night light at the foot of the bed which I thought was very smart. The shower has great water pressure, and the bathroom was a good size. I didn't opt for house cleaning so I can't comment on that. I was only there for 2 nights. I can't comment on the restaurants in the hotel either. If I had to say anything negative it would be that they put me in a room next to the elevator which my husband explicitly told them in the online booking not to do. I didn't complain about it. But, I did overhear another guest complaining that she was in a room by the elevator. So, I guess this is something that they do often. Maybe because of staff shortages but I did see other guests in rooms away from the elevator. I probably should have asked to move to another room, but I was hungry and tired after my trip. I just wanted to get settled in. That's the only reason why I took off a star. Other than that, everything was great. The check in and check out process was smooth. There is a staff member in the lobby 24/7 which is great. I totally recommend this hotel. My husband will be staying there sometime in the near future, so we'll see how it goes for him. Just make sure they don't give you a room near the elevator if you're a light sleeper.

Let me start by saying that I am a Hyatt Fan, a member and any chance I get I will pick a Hyatt. I've never been to the Hyatt Centric so I was excited to see what the difference was. It's definitely modern; a little smaller than the other Hyatt's I've been too. They do a decent job keeping up to date with Covid- Restrictions, Rules and Regulations. The reason this gets a 3 star is simply because I was not a fan of all the staff, specifically the night management. Every Hyatt I've been to gives me everyday if requested, 2 complimentary waters due to the fact that I am a discoverist member. When I went to go request it, the manager seemed extremely bothered then proceed to raise his voice to lecture me that I could take the waters but not to get accustom to this because all Hyatt don't do this. I honestly didn't care for his lecture but his raising his voice was uncomfortable and unnecessary. In addition, the parking is $32 a night. That is way too much for parking but outside of those 2 major things. The pros is that it's across the street from the Metro train and several places such as restaurants, gyms and etx. It's a great location if you're going to be traveling to visit the White House or D.C. itself.

It explains why…read morethe Hilton Garden Inn Arlington is an excellent choice to stay at--beyond just being a very nice hotel. I was in the area to attend a funeral at Arlington National Cemetery and needed accommodations nearby, so I booked at the Hilton Garden Inn Arlington. I've been a Hilton Honors member since 2005 and have always enjoyed consistently smooth experiences at Hilton properties. Since the service was scheduled for early afternoon, we requested an early check-in to give us time to prepare. The staff went above and beyond: they coordinated with the head of housekeeping to have a room ready for us. When we arrived at noon, everything was spotless and waiting. The real reason for this detailed review, though, happened at checkout. I accidentally left my toilet kit in the room. Once I returned home, I called the hotel, and the team made the process incredibly easy and stress-free. I first spoke with Mr. Adam Shewan-Gezaw, the Housekeeping Manager, who quickly located the item and explained the return options. Then Mr. Garry Reynolds, Front Desk Supervisor, followed up with an email that included additional contact details for Mr. Shewan-Gezaw, Ms. Joanne Solis (Housekeeping Supervisor), and Mr. Dimitri Dittimus (Guest Services Agent). Mr. Dittimus even reached out to me personally to provide updates on the progress. Everyone treated the matter with genuine care and urgency, even though the kit contained nothing of significant monetary value--just a few items that hold personal, sentimental meaning to me. Their attentiveness and teamwork were truly impressive. I can't thank the entire Hilton team enough for going the extra mile. In the end, sometimes any hotel will suffice. But when you encounter conscientious, customer-focused people like this, you know you'll be in excellent hands. Highly recommend.

The Hyatt Place in Arlington was a wonderful stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed wasn't the best hotel bed, but it wasn't horrible. It just felt more like a futon than a bed. What made the stay was the staff. From the hotel clerks, to the kitchen ladies, to housekeeping and maintenance; everyone I met was kind, accommodating and so friendly. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The individual quiches were sublime! Honestly, one of the best hotel stays I've ever had. I wish I still had my photos, but I deleted them after I posted my initial review. Stay at the Hyatt Place with confidence.

This particular one is in a decent location, close to a metro stop and within walking distance of some restaurants not too far away. The rooms are exactly what you'd expect from a Hyatt Place, with the bed(s), couch, mini-fridge, bathroom, etc... Yet my experience here felt a bit subpar relative to my other stays at Hyatt Place hotels. This is mainly because of two minor things. First, I felt my interactions with staff were a bit frustrating. They were perfectly nice and polite, but I feel a bit slow. Upon check in, they asked for a credit card to take a security deposit and I asked them to charge it to the card on file. They either didn't understand or refused. I gave them the same card I had on file. It was the same thing. But that always annoys me and takes up more time than necessary. At breakfast the next day, they rope off the lobby creating a single entry point where they check your name for breakfast. Typically the free breakfast at Hyatt Place hotels is open and you just walk in. While I recognize this method is susceptible to random people walking in to take advantage of the breakfast, having a guest list to check off for such a basic (arguably not even good) breakfast seems a bit uninviting and indeed, time consuming. This is a perfectly fine hotel to stay at when in the area. But compared to the standard Hyatt Place experience, it falls short. Three stars.

I was on the fence to book this place given its hefty price tag, and glad I went for it and completely agree with the glowing 5 star reviews. The bubbly host Manisha is very warm and welcoming. She cordially gave us a 20 min tour around the property, which was built in 1908, and even gave me a bonus tour of the other rooms afterwards. She kindly answered all of our questions and didn't rush us. The Peacecock Room is the most spacious and best room (aside from the bridal suite), elaborately decorated in peacocks. We loved it! The little touches like the handmade soap, a set of wine glasses, and a wine opener made the stay so memorable and special. While the rooms aren't temperature controlled, the electric flameless fireplace kept the room warm. The double capacity jacuzzi was perfect for my hubby and I and even had lights (some of the other rooms have smaller jacuzzi, so be sure to check). The rooms were clean minus a couple of lady bugs and stink bugs (which is too be expected out in the country). Dr. Fauci's assistant stayed here and Manisha informed us of the extensive sanitation process, even the pillows and decorations are quarantined for 6 days! The backyard is well groomed and really spacious with a nice patio and heat lamp, which kept us warm sitting outside in the frigid winter. Our dog loved running around! You can see the stars and constellations really well. It would make a great wedding venue! The Christmas decorations around the property are really nice. The owners really go the extra mile and put a lot of TLC into the property. The 6 course breakfast is delicious and bursting with flavor. Between the veggie quiche, cheesy potatoes, scone, pancakes, yogurt, and fresh OJ, I was stuffed! The fresh butterscotch scone was divine and devoured my mine and my hubby's! The cheesy potato had a nice spicy kick. Everything was so fresh and delicious. All the courses come out at once on a large tray. While my hubby and I chose to sit at the communal table (the chairs are roughly 6 feet apart), you can take the tray up to your room. Manisha and her family greeted us and thoroughly explained the dishes and chatted with us for a bit, even her son made an appearance! The bed and breakfast has a nice bar with wine, cider, and alcohol based on an honor code system. Water and soda is complementary, they even had Coke 0! The complementary fudgy brownies by the breakfast area during the day were sweet and tasty. Again the little complimentary stuff gives this bed and breakfast a nice resort feel. Very relaxing stay and looking forward to coming back!

The rooms and common areas are well kept, and the location is excellent. The room was very nice with a large bed, a large headboard, a business area, a lounge, refrigerator and microwave. It has 2 window treatments: 1 for limiting light and one for blocking the light totally. Each of these work with a chain arrangement. It's just steps away from the main Shirlington shops, including restaurants like Busboys and Poets, cafes, and even grocery stores. The whole area around the hotel seems very walkable. It feels like a nice little neighborhood rather than just another hotel strip. The one drawback is parking. You do have to pay, and the garage is about a block away rather than right under the hotel. It's manageable, though, and, I think, the convenience of the area makes up for it. Overall, this Hilton Garden Inn is a really good choice if you're visiting the DC area. The mix of comfort, service, and the nice neighborhood makes it a place I'd gladly recommend to others and hope to return to in the future.
