The family had the worst hotel stay ever at this hotel. The two pros were the location of the hotel and friendly employees. It offered a beautiful view of the mountains and a surprise sighting of a bear. My wife booked two nights in a suite with a king size bed, two bathrooms, and sofa bed. First night, we found out the sofa bed would not pull out because of a broken rod. Hotel's solution was to give us a roll away bed. The roll away bed was broken also. Two supporting rods of one of the weigh bearing stand were bend. So one end of the roll away bed would not stay up. We were so tired, so youngest daughter jut put the mattress on the floor and slept on it. The AC in the bedroom was making dripping noises. The oldest daughter slept on the sofa. Second night, both toilets started to back up with nasty stuffs on their own. My wife went down stairs and got a room change. The new room had it's own problem. The heater blew cool air, so we just turned it off. Free breakfast was horrible, we ended up eating breakfast at a local bakery during our stay. Hotel offered valet parking. Self parking was very limited for such a large hotel. If not back by 6 p.m. there might not be any parking space left for self parking. WiFi was strong. Water pressure was weak. The manager compensated us with some Hyatt points for the problems. I don't know if this particular hotel is corporate own or franchised. This hotel needs a complete renovation.

When I arrived, I didn't see any valet people, so I just self parked and didn't have any trouble getting a spot. I had to wait several minutes for someone to come to the front to check me in. Even if you do self checkin, you need a parking pass. I was by a very noisy dog, but they moved me with no problem. There are some walking trails right outside and you can enjoy the fire pit with the great views. The restaurant wasn't offering much for food and drinks, but there are places close by for that.

Can't complain when you have a roof over your head, a toilet that flushes, a shower that has hot water and a bed to sleep in. This particular Hyatt Place is great because it offers Valet Parking, which is super helpful when it's snowing outside and you need to run in quickly. The best thing about this Hyatt is the immaculate views of the Keystone mountainside. Gorgeous! If you need to rest and recharge after a day on the mountain skiing or snowboarding, they have 3 hot tubs: 1 on the 6th floor, 1 on the 5th floor and 1 on the lower level ground floor (below the 1st floor). These hot tubs are not that large so plan ahead and be ready to meet some strangers.

The place was fine to stay and all but I was ridiculed when I found out we couldn't cancel one of the rooms without having to pay for it. We'd called almost a week in advance knowing one of the people to be staying in the room we want cancelled had come down with covid. The hotel's reason was that the weekend was a long holiday weekend and they couldn't have turned around and sold the room. It was nonsense because when I had looked during that holiday weekend on Google, the booking for the room we couldn't get refunded for would've been six times more than what we advanced-booked it for. Their inability to be flexible during covid times was just appalling.

View from our room -- lovely & idyllic.

We stopped here on a whim and I can't tell you how GLAD I am that we found this beautiful hidden gem! Brittani helped check us in upon arrival as we didn't have prior reservations. She was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe and comfortable while visiting during COVID-19. She assured us about capacity and cleaning regimen. We got our room very quickly and went right up. Our room was larger than expected and we really loved it. It was definitely clean which I appreciated so much. The hallways and common areas were all very cleanly as well. Mary helped check us out the next day and she was wonderful as well! Please let the staff know they impacted us for the better. Thank you all for giving us a wonderful nights stay in Keystone!

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel, every staff member was welcoming and ever so helpful. Martha was absolutely amazing and made sure we had the best time. She upgraded our room, plus got us a view and made sure we got a roll away bed. Her kindness and positive attitude alongside "knowing" us, was unmatched. The hotel is older, yet exactly what we expected. Super clean, hot tub on rooftop was great and pool access at Keystone Lodge & Spa was great - they have a good pool, sauna and lockers all available. The walking trails and beauty around the hotel was gorgeous, and walk to River Run. Great running trails and right off Snake River trails. We will come again for sure!

This new venue (8 months old approximately) was clean and organized. The rooms were very cozy and accessible for work as well as relaxation. There was food available most of the day including a complimentary breakfast; I was disappointed that the salads and charcuterie were pre-made. The scenery from the back end of the building were my room was, is beautiful! There's a gym, hot tub, laundry as included amenities. The deck seating is good for groups and if you exit from LL you can get directly on the trail to reach some of the outdoor activities.

Check in was a breeze as the team reached out ahead of our arrival to confirm when we'd get there. With their app I could even store my room key for a digital entry (sans physical key card). How good! The exterior parking lot is small tho they do offer underground parking. The fee to park per night was $15 - which was a non negotiable since I was there with someone for their surgery. The room was spacious and very clean. Restroom/shower were also easily accessible. We had a small kitchenette with everything we needed to enjoy a snack or little meal prepared in the room. The fridge was spacious and we were able to stock up on fresh and nutritious bites at the nearby city market. Breakfast buffet was awesome and available for a few hours. While I usually opted for the oatmeal and fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs they offered so much more. DIY breakfast burritos with sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheese and various salsas. Not to mention toast, bagels, cereals, yogurt, coffee, juice, tea, etc. With your key card/digital access card you can enjoy their gym. Sparkling and clean with various cardio and weight equipment. I went down very early in the morning and someone was already there getting their sweat on. The hotel also has wheel chairs for use on site. Super helpful to get someone in the elevator and back up to the room after surgery. Overall great stay & interactions with staff who went above and beyond to make sure we're were comfortable and had everything we needed. My friend brought me here, saying, if I'm going to try any hostel, anywhere in the world, it should be here or his other favorite - in Wales. It is a gorgeous autumn in Colorado, so Breckinridge it is. How incredibly fortunate for me that my first hostel was here. I'm constantly reminded that not every hostel is so nice. What a lovely place. Well appointed, so clean - which is all important in this pandemic time. Everyone is friendly. We stayed in a 6-bunk room with a total 4 ppl in it. The less agile (that'd be me) was lucky to get a lower bunk (not sure how that works, we lucked out that not all the berths were full!) The other two ppl were solo travelers, one from South America, the other from Russia. They were friendly and polite. We all did our own thing; I crashed out early, so I wasn't bothered at all that another guest had to pack luggage for an early flight out the next day. There are outlets at each bunk, even USB chargers And a lamp which was a necessity when hvg to walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I thought the room was comfortable; temps got down into the 30's overnight but I was comfortably cozy in my bed with its duvet; there were extra blankets in the closet if needed. My friend thought it too warm but he runs that way, but he slept thru the night fine too. A word about the bedding: mine was fine, clean, smelled clean. But one of the other bunks had yellowed bedding - with stains. I presume it was washed and cleaned just looked used, and if you got there in daylight or with all the lights on, one would hv seen it, but I didn't till the next morning when we were getting ready to leave and that might've bn off putting. I came down early, just before sunrise The general areas were at a comfortable temp. Wasn't time yet for breakfast, but some kind soul had already started the coffee. I went for a walk, took some pix, came back once guests had started to straggle in. What a friendly, informative bunch! My friend tells me that's most hostel-goers. And the food was pretty good, pancakes, eggs, cereal; I got the oatmeal and an English muffin. The coffee smelled really good. And I was so happy they had powdered hot chocolate too! Special mention must be made of Belage (sorry, may hv misspelled) but he is a welcoming, knowledgeable host and made us feel at home. If you come here, please contribute positively. I worry that the wrong sort would detract from such a lovely accommodation and experience. And yeah, I'll hv to keep in mind that almost certainly other hostels aren't like this, but it is now my gold standard.

BED BUGS!!!! BED BUGS!!!! BED BUGS!!!! Absolutely terrible experience!…read more We stayed in Room 215 (checked in March 17). On the morning of March 19 my nephew and I woke up with multiple bug bites; on March 20 I found a live bug in the bed and another under the cover -- these were clearly bed bugs. I reported it to the front desk around 8:15 AM. Staff told us we would be moved to a new room around noon. By 9:30 AM we had vacated room 215 and were washing our all of clothing. There was only operational dryer. The front desk gave me $4 for laundry (about 9:15 AM) but would not provide additional funds and said to wait for a manager. We never heard from a manager EVER, received no further assistance, and I ended up spending $20 out of pocket to do three loads. We waited in the lobby all day and were not given a new room until 4:00 PM. Because of this we missed a scheduled ski day (two lift tickets, $584), incurred laundry costs and significant disruption to our stay. Additionally, the room was not properly stocked on arrival (no bath towels or soap -- only one bath mat, one hand towel, and one washcloth). Also, the furniture is worn out and nearly unusable and the towel bar was on the floor. This was extremely disappointing and stressful, especially as my nephew was here for spring break. The room was uninhabitable due to sanitation concerns and the staff's slow/inadequate response added to the disruption. We are local to the area, one of our local friends who knows the owner reached out to him on the day this all occurred and he told our friend "imma hook them up."
