Like a well-oiled machine, the amenities and staff reflect a masterfully run operation. Tasteful decor and clear signage welcome you to relax, enjoy their afternoon wine and tapas or schedule a massage. It's very clean and appointed nicely. Touted as the ONLY Inn within the United States which roasts its own imported coffee beans, I can attest to the deliciousness of these beans. My favorite was the Brazilian Light Roast as it was smooth and rich. One can grab a mug and have hot coffee or tea or any of their multiple beverage selections for a small fee. As it's currently winter, the indoor spaces have warm fireplaces and cozy chairs and tables to relax by. One can borrow a DVD for their room or exercise in the basement activity room. Our room was extraordinarily cozy with an amazing and comfortable king size bed with fresh bedding as well as a little electric fireplace and lots of lighting options. A white noise machine was made available as were fans and robes and bathroom amenities. I really enjoyed not having to carry around a key in my pocket or even a rfid card as the rooms have codes on the electronic locks. Very intelligent design. The kitchen offers a plethora of delicious items included with our reservation as well as food for purchase and every morning one can choose a hot meal prepared however you like as well as hot oatmeal, various cereals and yogurts and fresh fruits. It's quite delightful and convenient. The owner Bruce and his staff are always available to satisfy your every need and make sure you're comfortable. I give high praise for this elegant and well run facility and would love to one day own and run a place just like this!

Customer Service The front desk ladies were the highlight of the stay. They were extremely helpful and professional; when I reported an issue with my first room, they handled a room change immediately. The service here is truly top-tier. Cleanliness This was the most disappointing part of the stay. My first room had hair from a previous guest (both head and body hair) all over the shower floor. Plus, the microwave area on the third floor was dirty with food debris on the counters and floor. For a hotel at this price point, I expected a much higher standard of hygiene. The Mountain View from the hotel is absolutely stunning and definitely a major perk. If you love the outdoors, this is a great hub. Hiking: There are plenty of great trails nearby. Proximity: The town is only a 2-3 minute drive away, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. Amenities: The hotel has a nice outdoor fire pit and hot tub to enjoy the mountain air. Oh and they have an oxygen bar. Microwaves: The 3rd-floor microwave did not heat at all. I had to use the one on the 2nd floor, which worked perfectly. Parking: It is $10/day, and you must place the physical pass in your car after checking in. Fees/Food: There is a $60 incidental deposit (refundable). Note that breakfast is not included, so you'll want to bring your own food or head into town. Environment: There was a strange smell in the hallway near the elevators. Overall While the views are breathtaking and the staff is great, the lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms and common areas was a major letdown for me.

A private bathroom in the room and a small kitchenette. We asked about the rooms when we got there. The site was confusing. We thought it was a shared bathroom for everyone. That's not the case. Most rooms have their own bathroom. The staff is very personable and helpful for local tips. The breakfast was very good. They cook a hot breakfast to order. Our first morning there, we had a hiccup and I think we were forgotten about after we ordered food. We waited an hour and finally left. We were so late getting on the mountain. We didn't get our first run til 11. Other than that one issue, everything has been great and the breakfast the following two mornings came out within mins. I think it was an honest mistake but we all just brushed it off. Thank you, Claire for your hospitality. You made our home away from home very comfortable. I had to write a review. This was so worth it. I looked at the reviews before we came to see how the beds are. The mattress is comfortable in the room we had. I didn't wake up feeling like I was hit by a bus. They have an entire dvd collection that we put to good use. The town is very cute and great food locally. There is a bus that will shuttle you to copper and breck. The hot tub fits about 6 in there. The room was well appointed, the hosts were delightful and full of recommendations for the village. The courtyard is adorable but it was a bit too chilly to spend much time there. Even had handmade lattes and barista drinks by request. All included!

There were a number of food options nearby. We also got some snowfall on the second night. The rooms were a little small for all of our snow gear, but cozy enough to sleep in. The toilets weren't the greatest at flushing. The breakfast was great and offered a number of food options. But unfortunately both mornings that we were here, the front desk guy overslept. Paying for a hotel and having to purchase your own bedding is unacceptable. The shower curtain had dried mucus on it and there was hair all over the shower when we arrived. The room itself is small, dingy, and poorly maintained. This is not about being picky. This is about lack of cleanliness and basic respect for guests. I would not stay here. The room was spacious and very clean. Restroom/shower were also easily accessible. We had a small kitchenette with everything we needed to enjoy a snack or little meal prepared in the room. The fridge was spacious and we were able to stock up on fresh and nutritious bites at the nearby city market. Breakfast buffet was awesome and available for a few hours. While I usually opted for the oatmeal and fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs they offered so much more. DIY breakfast burritos with sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheese and various salsas. Not to mention toast, bagels, cereals, yogurt, coffee, juice, tea, etc. With your key card/digital access card you can enjoy their gym. Sparkling and clean with various cardio and weight equipment.
