I stayed here for a seminar that also took place at the hotel. Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable. I was staying in a one bedroom, which was a nice amount of space with a good layout. I wasn't here long enough to get a lot of use of the kitchen, but it did have the basic plates, bowls, silverware and cups. I used the fitness center twice and it was pretty nice relative to other hotels. It wasn't overall tight quarters, there were bikes and treadmills, free weights, and a multi use lifting machine. The complementary breakfast was okay. These days, I feel like it's pretty unusual to have a truly complementary hot breakfast for all guests though, so that alone needs to be appreciated. Both days the cut fresh fruit was basically inedible, but the rest of the selection was nice. There was a berry compote that was good for yogurt or oatmeal topping, so there was still a fruit opportunity. There was also some variety day to day. I stayed at this hotel for two nights. I had no complaints until after checking out. I was incorrectly charged a $200 smoking fee. Me and my boyfriend are smokers and we STEPPED OUTSIDE THE HOTEL OVER 30 TIMES during our stay to smoke to make sure we respected the hotel and their rules. After speaking to the front desk manager Ashley about this incorrect charge she explained to me that she had "proof" of me smoking in the hotel and then proceeded to send me pictures of popcorn that I had left on the floor claiming that it is ash. Anyone that smokes knows that ash is grey/black and white. She then refunded me $50 out of the $200 as a curtesy. I AM BEING CHARGED $150 STILL FOR NEVER SMOKING IN THEIR ROOMS. Nothing was ever lit inside of that room or hotel. I asked them to check cameras and verify the amount of times I left that hotel to smoke because I assure you it was well over 30. I was paying $147 for my two night stay and got charged an extra $150 for just smelling like smoke after smoking OUTSIDE. I spend thousands of dollars a year on hotels and am well aware of the smoking rules and have never disrespected it at any of my stays in any hotel. Worst customer service ever. We loved our first visit so much a few months ago that we sent my in-laws here earlier this week and we are here ourselves now for another stay. The rooms are perfect. Clean, spacious and two TVs! Our layout this time is a little different and we still love it. Quiet, safe and the woman who checked me in was really friendly and inviting. Hyatt membership allows you to check in online, so show your photo ID on arrival, get your keys and you're on your way. Easy peasy. There is not a better value for the price in this area - so many charge more for much less. We will be back for sure. read more

It's a dump! I chose this location instead of Branchburg because it was cheaper. Big mistake! Stayed one night & checked out. First room they sent me to had a broken security lock - it was falling out of the woodwork. They moved me. That room had the lovely dresser pictured here. The sink didn't drain correctly. And there's NO ELEVATOR. They tried to put me on the 3rd floor. Are you kidding me? Walk up 3 floors in the pouring rain carrying my luggage??!! All units are accessed from the outside. It's all very shabby and frankly a bit creepy. I moved a piece of furniture in front of the door when I went to bed. I always try to find something nice to say so, here goes. The staff was nice. I stayed here recently and was definitely unimpressed, especially considering this is a Hyatt labeled property. I feel like that should mean something, but it doesn't here. The room we stayed in was a two bedroom suite, so the space was nice for four people but it was awkwardly situated and the walls were paper thin so if I were sleeping in a bedroom and someone in the living room was talking it seemed as though they were in my room! The kitchen was stocked with the basics which was nice, but I would call it pretty shabby. It really needs some TLC and fresh paint! What I liked about this property was the staff, when we needed something (like a toilet that clogged daily for no reason) they were attentive and the staff even stopped by to make sure the toilet was working, just to check in. The front desk staff were very friendly as well. Also the room was spacious and there was a basketball court in the middle of the hotel courtyard (which could have been concerning because you could hear a ball bouncing, but no one played too late or too much). And there was a nice heated pool with jacuzzi. What could have been improved was the breakfast, it was just okay, there were a few things to choose from that changed daily but after the first day I didn't want to eat it again. My uncle booked a separate smaller room and he said he could literally hear the guy next door snoring through his walls, so he had to use white noise on his cell phone to get to sleep...certainly not ideal. I would not want to stay here again, but the location was convenient for us and we liked the space, but I think it was over priced for what we got since it's in need of some thicker walls and deep renovations. read more

There seems to be some confusion in the reviews and I get why: this is an extended stay hotel with regular hotel pricing. Seriously it is- the rooms are all set up as if they were formerly one-bedroom apartments (hint: i bet it's because they were). So each room has a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bath. My room, at least, seemed to have been well worn with every baseboard corner having no paint from all of the bumps and kicks over the years. My favorite was the desk which had holes drilled in the top from where they detached the old tv when they put the TVs on the walls. You're right- who needs to fix that or get a new desk? I arrived in the early evening and the staff was still working away to clean the rooms so, initially, I forgave the random trash cans full of trash all over the property as I though they were still working. When I came back from dinner -yeah no chance I am eating what this place is serving so that was off site- I saw the same full trashcans. So I guess that's just where they keep them: in between rooms? Don't believe me? Hey kids, check out the photo! One start for seriously friendly and helpful employees and one star that the room, although beaten up to a laughable state, seemed to be clean. The negs: No elevator at this 2 story hotel, so if your upstairs you can lug your cumbersome 50lb bags up the stairwell. The free breakfast is very average with the usual offerings and starts at 630 am during the week, 7am weekends, this was not good for us or a touring baseball team that were there as well. 6am would be much more helpful as I saw each morning, several others waiting to eat...We probably will try a different place next time.. read more

I stay here when I visit my NJ but no more. Hotel has declined. I was greeted by Juan at the front desk who was very rude. The room smelled and carpet was disgusting. The thermostat was broken and while I was sleeping, the room reached 98 degrees. The toilet had running water all night long. Now that I departed, my luggage and clothes smell. We stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. The room was very clean and had everything I needed. Minus 1 star for no bathtub, though, only a shower. I liked the mini kitchen in the room. The room also had a good desk for doing work, and a couch in the living room area. The bed was on the firm side for me, but had at least 2 types of pillows (firm and soft). The free breakfast buffet was okay, and I wish I had had time to try the omelets that the hostess made to order. If I had to pass through the area again I wouldn't mind staying here. read more

First, let me start off by saying how unprofessional the General Manager Shoaib Saeed was to me. The two days I stayed at the Hyatt House the T.V. did not work. The hotel has Direct TV as a service provider. Satellite television is the worst to have especially when the weather is bad. I went to the front desk and the front desk clerk said, the television will be down for 15 minutes. The tv didn't work the whole time I was there. I called the front and asked the General Manager how can he accommodate me for being without a television, the General Manager response was are you here to watch tv or sleep? What professional General Manager would respond in that manner? Then he says you can check out and leave. The General Manager was beyond unprofessional. Also, you must have an Android phone to watch any movies from an app. The tv is not compatible with iPhones. Also, the hotel is animal friendly, which I don't have a problem with but they need to learn how to clean and vacuum the couches. I sat on the couch and when I stood up I had so much animal hair on me it didn't make sense. I ask for a percentage off my bill and they said no. They said the best they can do is give me 30% off my next stay. I think that is very crazy for me to spend more money at the same hotel after that horrible experience. I wish I can upload pics of how the televisions didn't work and how they need to upgrade their rooms. Also, they did not have not one USB port in the room. It's 2023, how do you not have USB ports in your hotel rooms. I have reached out to corporate and investigations is being conducted. Horrible stay, all i wanted was a place to spend the night and celebrate my birthday. We were kicked out at 1am due to complaining we were never warned about and only given 10 minutes to remove ourselves. We were also threatened with police escort which is completely horrific. To add to it the rooms were not cleaned properly and we were accused of smoking in the rooms which was never done! I had called to refund my payment and they refuse to due to us being there till 1am. Ehhhhhhh. It's not that the place is bad per se, so much as my experience was certainly not good. I was staying in Bridgewater on business, and this was one of my company - approved options. The major problem was that the air conditioning didn't work, on a high-humidity 90+ degree week. Additionally several of the lights were out, including the one over the table, where I was attempting to do some work. On a positive note, the wifi worked well. The staff seemed apologetic regarding the lack of ac, and gave me some fans, since they said they couldn't rebook. The engineer was also good when she came to look at the issue. Not much I guess they could do, but it certainly impacted my ability to be sharp for my business meeting while in Bridgewater. Breakfast-wise, they had gluten-free cereal, which is normally a big plus for me. Bowls were tiny, as in 3-spoonfuls tiny. Other than that, they had the normal eggs, cereal, fruit, etc. read more

Beautiful rooms, service dog friendly (sometimes have access issues). The room was huge, with a kitchen and updated bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. The only downside is just the stairs up to the room, so if you have a lot of luggage keep that in mind. Didn't get to try the breakfast, pool or anything but stayed here twice in a row and the room was great every time. The one downside for dogs that I can see is that all the paths say that you can't walk your dog there which was odd. Even the places by the cars and in the center of the hotel in the courtyard weren't a dog walk area. This should be fixed and customers should be told where to go to relieve their dogs. Much better to have the dog go in the courtyard rather than in the room so I'm not clear on why that rule is there. Also did not see any waste containers so I had to drive those down the street which was a nuisance. Just some things to ask. Please also add the numbers from the buildings to the map. I drove around the building several times the first time, very confusing. Figured it out but I can see other people also being confused. The staff is very nice and attentive. The 2 bedroom suite I have had for 6 weeks is spacious and comfortable. HOWEVER, when I checked in I asked for a quiet room. What I got was a room overlooking the BASKETBALL COURT. Who in their right mind designs a hotel around a basketball court? Almost every night I had to call the front desk to complain of basketball games and boisterous kids after 10 PM. The staff says the pool and court are only open until 10 yet apparently no one tells that to the guests checking in. Lights stay on, no signs and no enforcement unless the guests complain! read more

Excellent experience-unlike any other hotel stay I have experienced! Very spacious living quarters and full kitchen-additionally beneficial for those traveling with children. Outdoor heated pool (Closed in November when I stayed) and outdoor basketball courts-very cool! Free breakfast buffet 6:30am-9:30am weekdays and 6:30am-10am weekends-different selections each day-all options were good! Also included omelette station everyday with assorted juices and fruits. I could not have been happier with this hotel. I was traveling with my husband and three small children, which is terribly stressful, and staying here made our vacation so much smoother. We stayed in a two-bedroom with kitchenette suite (after being bumped up from our original booking) and the suite was clean, well-laid out, welcoming, and completely comfortable. The morning breakfast is a full hot breakfast with omelette bar (though, admittedly, the omelettes may take awhile to prepare depending on the line of people waiting), eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, milk, juice, the works. The seating area can be a little cramped if it's a busy time, but the food is well-worth the hassle of trying to find a place to sit. Everyone who works there was friendly and helpful, which was also delightful. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. read more

Let's start on a positive note, the staff at this property are very friendly but that's about the only item I enjoyed about my stay... The first day of my stay I woke up and discovered a spider in my bathroom on the wall (like a creepy wide legged thick spider, eek). I then returned back to my room to relax and clean up after a long day onsite and the shower drain was completely clogged so I was essentially standing in my own filth (ish). And then the cherry on top occurred moments before writing this review... I hopped into bed and discovered the duvet cover had yellow and green vomit stains... I really wish I would had noticed before sleeping on it (seriously gross). The other mentionable issue I have is with their onsite food service. Their is no in-room dining, and it is clear that this hotel's amenities are much more geared towards extended stays. They have a full kitchen, fridge, sink, and dishwasher. (note: the hotel room itself is like an apt, my fault for not doing the research). If you do choose to eat at the H bar prepare yourself for terrible microwaved food thrown in by the bartender who doubles as the server and the cook. It was a mess from the moment I sat down, I probably should have just slipped dinner. I was approached after 15 minutes of sitting alone and promptly after placing my order the server/bartender went to the kitchen to make my food only to serve cold soup and microwaved 'flatbread' ... All the while there was a line of 6 new patrons at the bar waiting for their turn to be served... My advice, pass on this hotel and stay at the Marriot. read more

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into my room. It's a beautifully spacious apartment. Living room, full kitchen with large windows making it brightly lit. The bedroom had double doors making it private with a king size bed, walk in closet and glass door shower. Everything was clean, I arrived at midnight to check in and someone was there to help and greet. The breakfast was included with omelette, fresh fruits, pancakes, yogurt and more. I almost wished I needed to stay longer. Their only downside is no elevators however I honestly didn't mind the little exercise going up three flights with my bag. Embarrassingly I had to report my $169 Rock Revival jeans and a brand new Victoria Secret bra were stolen from my room while I stayed here in December. When I called to report it I was told by a very unprofessional front desk employee they would look into it and they would "call back before the end of my shift" that was clearly a lie. My belongings without question went missing from this location and clearly they don't take over $200 of missing items seriously. I have learned my lesson and do not intend on spending another dime at this or any other Hyatt (or its affiliates) in the future. read more

Booking confirmed, but put me in for 3 days in mid to late August. When I showed up to check in, I found out about the screwup. Nonetheless, even though the hotel had weeks to cover the mid to late August dates they wouldn't help and referred me back to Booking.com. We have a one year old and expected a crib/pack & play to be in our room. I had called the day before our reservation and it was confirmed that a crib was available and would be placed in our room. When we got to our room there was no pack and play...We immediately called the front desk, and the crib was brought to our room right away. We had to leave right away to get to where we needed to be on time. Upon returning that evening, we tried to set the pack and play up so that we could all go to bed... and the pack and play was broken! Called the front desk again, someone came very quickly to try and set it up for us... she could not do so, and confirmed the pack and play was broken, and that there were no other ones available!!! SO instead, we had to sleep with our little one in our bed... which is not only totally unsafe, but totally uncomfortable for ALL of us. I had a TERRIBLE night's sleep. The next morning while checking out, I asked for some kind of inconvenience discount; I was told only a manager could do that, and there was no manager there at the time. Are you kidding? On a Sunday (which has to be a very busy check-out day) there is no manager? That's insane. She told me I could email the manager and explain the situation. Which I am now about to do so, and I expect some type of courtesy refund for my family's awful night of sleep at this hotel. The associate at the front desk was absolutely polite and friendly upon checking in and out, and the 2 times we called the front desk we did get responses/someone to our room right away... and unfortunately the great customer service we were experiencing was completely ruined by a bad night's sleep... another ding on customer service is a manager not being available. read more

When I booked this hotel I booked because it looked pretty good but mostly because the rates were very reasonable. When I checked in there were rooms available and was bumped up to a two bedroom for free. The room was amazing! A sizable living room and a nice kitchen with two large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and closet space. The room was immaculate , clean as if no one had ever been in the room before us. I was sad to leave and go home to my little apartment! Would love to stay here again. read more

However, Operations Supervisor Andrew Santos worked incredibly hard to make our stay nice, they're getting a full five star rating on his efforts alone.
