Nice location and your typical Hampton Inn which is a good thing. The rooms were clean and decent sized. I was only there for a quick overnight so it was perfect for that. The breakfast was included and was good and filling. Good way to start the day. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in the area again.

Everything I've expected from a Hampton Inn. Convenient location right off of the main room with an adequate parking lot. Neat lobby and common areas. Check in was easy with free bottled water provided. Rooms were very neat. Comfy bed, efficient temperature control, good water pressure, adequate TV channels, and lots of USB ports and electrical outlets. Microwave, mini fridge, hair dryer, iron and ironing board provided. Lots of lamps. Ice maker on each floor. Pool area was neat but I did not use it. Fitness center was efficient and well-kept with water, towels and sanitizing wipes available. Hot breakfast hours range from 6-10am and was better than expected with eggs, sausages and home fries. A waffle maker, variety of cereal and oatmeal with toppings. Bagels, breads and a variety of spreads. Juices and hot beverages also available. Overall great stay here. All staff encountered were great.

Upon checking in we were told that there was only one pet friendly floor. I spent 5 nights in the mobility accessible room with my Service Dog. Pet friendly should not have been a requirement. The building itself was very comfortable, very CLEAN, well decorated, had people's needs anticipated and I wanted to love it. But I couldn't. There are some things that you might not notice what is wrong if you spent just one or two nights. But after five nights you do notice that the sliding mirrored closet/bathroom door is not hung correctly. The end piece for the door was found inside the closet. Other things are more obvious and would be noticed no matter what ... For example, the elevator had a paper memo taped to the wall. The other Hampton Inns had the same information on a professional looking sticker, instead. Housekeeping is by request only. We did not request housekeeping. We did get to know Ana, the amazing housekeeper on our floor who would provide us with towels, tissues and toilet paper. When I went to remove the handheld shower head from its stored position, the bar that holds it proved to be unanchored. It popped out of the little pegs holding it and the pegs themselves were loose on the tile wall. The toilet was leaking water out of the bottom of what should have been the wax seal. We reported the issue. We were asked if we wished to change rooms. But we were also told that maintenance doesn't work on weekends. The bottom of the toilet was caulked while we were out. It is still leaking. One night when we came in, passing the front desk, a manager was yelling at an employee. It was a very uncomfortable situation for both: the employee and us. The Manager's office was about 10 ft away. It was empty. All of these really are picking on very specific problems because from the beautiful lobby, well appointed room, extreme cleanliness and mobility assistance bars, you really do expect something closer to perfection.

Best hampton I've ever stayed at. Only issue was the pool water was slightly overheated in my opinion.

We were very pleased with our stay. The hotel is very clean and well kept. Marina and Ayaz at the front desk were both extremely helpful.

It was helpful to have a kitchen. The housekeeping staff seem to try to keep up (nicole was lovely), but this place is definitely in need of serious deep cleaning and some remodeling. I could not even give kids a bath it grossed me out. I am glad I brought cooking utensils and pans. The refrigerator was clean and newer, but food crumbs on top and all in cabinets and drawers. Only a service for 5 for plates/bowls (I washed everything before first use). I do not think I would like to go back. The breakfast ladies were very kind when I needed syrup for the pancakes I made (we took bacon from the morning breakfast but the sausage was dried and inedible). Breakfast area was very clean fyi. Mold all over the bathroom and the shampoo dispensers have lots of pink mold as well... plus after what I heard someone (a guest) do inside those at another hotel, i will never trust them). The cabinets were also covered in who knows what both in the kitchen and in the bathrooms. If I had to stay here again I'd ask for a newer room if possible.

At the end of my stain, management tried saying I made damage in the room that I did not. Somebody lied about making a damage and charged me $250. I strongly advise against staying here. Not only that the hallways smell like BO and urine. Place is very outdated and the elevator is dangerous.

Had to wait there for 5 mins till someone showed up. They give us our room and when we walk into the room, the entire room was a shit hole. Instead of being able to lay down and take a nap after a long 22 hour drive, we had to find a local Walmart and go buy cleaning supplies and clean the room ourselves since house keeping was gone. The there damages on the walls, doors, and all over the room. We took pictures and video of course. The bathroom was nasty. Here is a list of things that didn't work Room was dirty as stated above. Bathroom was disgusting. We were in that room for 12 days and not once did they come and clean the room Wifi wouldn't work, we had to use our own hot spots The breakfast staff were rude Breakfast was so so We had to go looking for towels since they never cleaned out room The bath room sink would shoot out water and you would get all wet from it. The couch that my son was sleeping on was broken Stay far far away from this shit hole. The management at this place is garbage. He told me that he would show us other rooms when I complained and he never did. Never came and knocked on our room to make sure if everything was going ok. I will NEVER stay at a place like this every again. 1800 bucks down the toilet.

Pre-pandemic I would travel 5-7 times a year, which meant traveling on a Monday, work Tues-Thurs, and then fly back home on Friday. Fairly standard work engagement. People in my office called me "lucky" since I got to go on "exciting" and "fun" business trips. Well, as people who often travel for work will tell you, business trips are seldom "exciting" and/or "fun." Typically work trips mean arriving at the client site at 7am and staying till 5pm, often eating room service or in the hotel restaurant, working until 8 or 9pm responding to emails, and then getting up early the next day to repeat the process until you return back home. And it's not as if I'm staying at the Ritz-Carlton; I'm often staying at lower tier hotels which have to fall under government per diem rates. Now that I'm traveling for work again, I found myself in the small-ish town of Cranbury, NJ recently for another software deployment. Cranbury was formerly a "middle of nowhere" town off of I-95, but in recent years it has become somewhat of a boom town with major distribution hubs for Amazon, Wayfair.com, and VW/BMW/Audi. As I've mentioned before, I'm strictly a Marriott Bonvoy member, but for whatever reason, Marriott doesn't have a contract with GSA in this area, so I decided to book at the Staybridge Suite Cranbury-South Brunswick mainly because it was close to the job site. Big mistake. In retrospect, it would've been better to drive the extra 15-20 min to nearby Princeton University where there are better lodging options. Here are my observations from my recent stay: Facilities: From the exterior, the place looks nice but once inside it is giving of a 80's vibe, with really dated public areas such as in the dining area where several of the seats were visibly stained. I also try and work out when traveling, but the fitness center was a joke. There were three cardio machines, two weight benches, and a few dumb bells, but the area was so cramped, that any more than 3 people and the place felt very cramped. Also note, the attached TV monitors on the machines didn't work. The other thing about the fitness center, is that the laundry was also located in the same area, so the whole work out experience felt like I was in somebody's basement with the constant sound of washing machines and dryers competing with the podcasts from my headphones. Rooms: Basic, but fairly clean. The biggest problem with my room was with noise. The first source of noise emanates from the A/C unit. This Staybridge is an older property, and as such it has one of those A/C units which is connected to the windows, instead of a more modern central air model. Sooo, this meant in order to keep the room at a modest 71 degrees, it was constantly operating making sleep challenging; I don't think I slept more than 5 hours any night since I'd fall asleep and then wake up when the A/C kicked on. The other issue is, if you have a room facing the pool, you will often hear people talking loudly. One night, I heard people outside until way past midnight. It was nice to have a large fridge and microwave, which I used to reheat leftovers. Included breakfast is on par with what you'd find at lower tier hotels with items such as rubbery sausage links, powdered eggs, cereal, and passable coffee. Access Control: I agree with some of the other reviewers who express some concern about safety. There are signs posted on all of the doors indicating please do not prop doors open. However, the next morning when I was walking to my car, I'd often find rocks, or other items which had been used to prop doors open for what I assume to be non-guests. In fact, the room into the fitness center (adjacent to the pool) didn't even close properly, so when I'd get my morning work out in, it was routinely ajar. There were a few nights when I'd come back from dinner, and there people milling about which I didn't sense were actual hotel guests...but I could be wrong. In a previous life, I've stayed at many places like the Staybridge Suites in Cranbury NJ. It's not the worst place, but there are MANY and I do mean MANY other better lodging choices if you're in the area. This is especially true if you're a business traveler and need to get any semblance of rest, I'd highly suggest staying booking someplace else.

This is none other than the "Molly Pitcher Service Area" located in the township of Cranbury, NJ. Located directly off of the New Jersey Turnpike (Highway 95), this massive rest stop has been operating strong dating back to 2007. It was also the perfect place to get out, stretch, and fuel up on our drive from Newark, NJ to Philadelphia, PA. As for some of the food establishments that this service area offers, you have quite a few options including a "Shake Shack", "Panda Express", "Chick-Fil-A", "Starbucks", and "Subway". And some of the amenities includes a baby changing station, gas/diesel stations, EV charging, public restrooms, free Wi-Fi, and cash withdrawals (for a small convenience fee). In addition to all of this, there is even a large convenience store (similar to a "Wawa") which is perfect for buying bottled beverages, lottery tickets, maps, sunglasses, or snacks to take with you. I also wanted to add that they offer plenty of seating much like what you'd find in a large cafeteria/banquet hall. The look and feel of this place is almost reminiscent of a small shopping mall from the 90's but is a much more efficient and user friendly way. The best part about this is that they are open 24 hours a day/7 days a week. However, some of the food places do close (so don't expect to get your Chick-Fil-A at 3:00am on a Sunday). But for what this place offers, it is ideal and quite efficient if you're on a long road trip. Also remember that since you're in New Jersey, it is illegal to pump your own gas so keep that in mind. All in all, "Molly Pitcher Service Area" gets the job done to keep us Americans on the go. My rating, an above average four stars.
