Had a really good experience with HX Home Solutions. They did work on changing the windows and doors in our home and did a fantastic job. Our windows and doors were installed by Mario who is the best contractor we have ever worked with. Mario is an extremely competent and driven professional who goes out of his way to make sure that the job is done right. He put in extra time and extra effort on every imaginable detail throughout the installation process, doing work beyond what was expected. He was also available to address any questions and concerns and took those very seriously. Since new owner, Shaunak, acquired the company the quality of workmanship has been maintained. This is an update to my previous review citing a challenge in communication. Shaunak reached out and got the project (installation of sliding patio door) moving forward. Upon writing this review, I can confirm the final result continues to be excellent. The new door installation and replacement of wood trim around 'bump-out' has made that feature better than it has ever been. Further, I appreciate that HX Home Solutions cares enough about the customer and their experience to have reached out. Another great job from HX home solutions . Just had a new roof ( tear off ) done by HX . Great job ,Great people and Quality materials ! Phil and Sherri are a pleasure to deal with ! Had HX install all new casement windows and patio door in my house last year and new roof this year . The install team did a super job even as we had a snowstorm and bad weather in the middle of the install. They tarped the roof and were back out to finish the job as soon as weather permitted. The price quoted was very fair and there were no surprises when the job was finished . Very happy with both projects and would not hesitate to use them in the future ! Learn from my mistake. I have been working with Shaunak who lied to me for the past 45 days. I reached out to him back in early August based on his good reviews. This is when the bad business tactics begin. He calls me and says I will be the lowest for Hardie and do whatever to earn your business. Give me a chance. So, I delayed my project to give him the opportunity to put a bid into the project, which was full exterior replacement. This is where his lies and bad business behavior begins. I was stupid enough to believe him. He verbally says I can do your roof for $$$$, but I cant give you a quote because I am too busy and I am trying to manage the manpower in the office. Huhhhhh, You cant send me an estimate. I already had the Hardie estimate from him which was over $10k higher than the competitors. He wanted to see the competitior quotes, so I sent them to him. Shaunak says, "I will beat them". Followed everything he wanted and trusted him. He continues to blow me off saying he's going on a vacation and today he has been out of the office for weeks when I have been waiting for the contract to be sent to me for my roof. Multiple follow up emails and texts. Just continues to blow me off. After 45 days of working with him, He emails me today and says I cant do your roof now.....best of luck. Are you SERIOUS. Who does this? This man lied and strung me along for 45 days when all I did was give the man what he wanted and trusted that he was different than the others. HE IS NOT. Dont believe any of his BS because he will screw you over just like he has done to me. It's almost winter and now I am left dry. RUN RUN RUN from Shaunak and his lies. read more

We were impressed with Dave Hacker's professionalism during our window replacement project. They are family owned, and have great, prompt back office support team. The installers were very hard-working and knowledgable. They cleaned up after the entire process, and respected that these types of upheavals can be disruptive to the homeowner. They were quiet, and stayed on task, to complete the project on time and on budget. The follow-up service with the Hacker painting team was seamless and also timely.
