Bibimbap was full of bright and bold flavors with a variety of tastes and textures. Prices are very reasonable. Service is concise.

Super convenient location as it's close to work! Food was pretty good and would consider coming back because of it. The service was a bit slow and only one server (as it seemed) was serving food/cleaning up tables during lunch hour on a weekday. Service can be a bit more attentive (had to come to the front and let them know we were ready to order).

A random restaurant in a business center filled with just offices. We walked in not expecting much and were greeted by what appears to be the only employee there. The decor is a bit weird and dated. We were seated right away and placed our order a few minutes later. I ordered a salmon roll and the beef bibimbop and my hubby got the kimchi tofu soup. For $4.99 for a salmon roll it was a steal! Our entrees came with a side of pickled kim chi, cucumbers, bean sprouts and radish called ban chan. I always love pickled veggies bc they add such a satisfying crunch to your meal plus it's good for your gut health. My bibimbop was huge filled with rice, beef, onions, a fried egg and sesame seeds. My husband's soup was also flavorful and he ate his bowl clean. For less than $20 a person for a delicious and filling Korean lunch definitely worth it! The deduction is for the ambience but if I could give it 4 1/2 I would. With the check came a nice bite of dessert consisting of a bit of cake, ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate syrup. A great way to end the meal!

Sneakily good sushi from an unassuming place. Was craving sushi but didn't want to spend a bunch or drive very far and stumbled upon this place. Got 4 rolls, all decently sized, but great tasting (really love the Love roll and the Dragon). We both really liked that the rice was perfectly cooked (not over done and wasn't mashed heavily on like some other places) and rolled perfectly (not one piece fell apart after we got it home) and did not overwhelm the toppings. A very solid option for takeout sushi, we will be back to check out their Korean offerings.

Beef Bulgogi

The food is amazing I got the beef bulgogi was absolutely delicious. The service was slow because we had a large amount of people. The ambiance was alright I will be coming back.

Such a cute hole in the wall, very inviting and walls to divide tables so that you don't see other guests. However, the food was okay. I got the spicy seafood soup which was not spicy at all and lacked even regular seasonings. Beef bulgogi was alright and the sides were very simple.

Dragon King Roll (nigiri rolls are a separate order).

We have eaten at HEA twice in the past couple of weeks. It's kind of off the beaten path, on Commerce Drive just north of 5300 South in a business park. Lots of parking spots in the evening. The sushi is fresh, large portions, and some very different types of rolls. Favorites include the Crunchy Honey Mustard Roll, the Berry Roll, and their "special" roll, the Dragon King. The inside of the restaurant is well lit, and each table is separated from the others by large partition screens. Definitely a new favorite sushi place.

Honey Citrus Tea

We started off with a hot tea, the honey citrus. It tastes lovely. Filling to the soul and sweet like a honey bee. She brought us a complimentary plate of pot stickers. They were nice and crispy but I didn't eat too many because I wanted to save room for all the other stuff I ordered. I ordered the soondubu with beef, an eel nigiri, and a fried chicken basket. They were all good. The soondubu had a flavor that made it taste very "innocent" for lack of a better word. I enjoyed it and would come back again next time I'm in town. Complimentary on the house was also a desert. She gave us some ice cream on top of a thin slice of cake with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. I was already full, but of course your stomach always has room for desert so I scarfed it down.

Soon Tofu Combo
Jae O.

Always consistent food, friendly service and very reasonable prices. The restaurant is in a weird office plaza and there is nothing else around but it's not a bad place. Soft tofu soup hits the spot every time!

Excellent service and great bibimbap. I really enjoyed my meal with plum sake, and a sweet little cake to top it off.

I was amazed by how bustling it was during lunch on a week day, even more impressed by how many office people showed up. I would say it was a good experience but not a personable experience. We got our table, we got our food, we paid the bills. No one would check if there were any special occasions or if the food was okay. Now that I think about it, people who showed up was not for an intimate laid back meal, it was for efficiency. Our large sashini combo was great. The mackerel and tuna tasted fresh, jello-like and octopus was different. The atlantic salmon was ok, not the best I've had, and same for the albacore tuna. Toro and uni nigiri were delicious. Agedashi tofu was average. I prefer lighter batter, but the broth was great. Overall, I would come back for the mackerel/ tuna sashimi and those toro uni nigiris.

Takashi is an upscale Japanese restaurant located in downtown. It looks highly rated so we decided…read moreto give it a try. Came here on a Tuesday evening for dinner. It was pretty busy, but we were greeted by the hostess and seated immediately. Street parking was easy to find. We ordered the Edamame, Saikyo-Miso Sablefish, Ankimo Sashimi, Small Sashimi Combination, and The Uptown Roll. The Edamame were nicely salted, served warm, and came in a standard portion. The Sablefish was served with pickled carrots and onions. It was moist and tender with good flavor. This was my first time having Ankimo Sashimi, so I was not sure what to expect, but it was solid. It came with three slices along with shredded carrots and cucumber slices. The Small Sashimi Combination came with Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Mackerel, Octopus, and Salmon. All of the items were high quality. The Salmon was especially smooth and buttery. The Uptown Roll was a solid roll, but was smaller than expected. Overall, giving Takashi a 4/5. Service is fast, especially for how busy it was. The staff are friendly, and the food is good, although not the best value. The Small Sashimi Combination was our favorite item we ordered. Would recommend to others to try.

The service was great and we only waited about 10 minutes for a party of two during a Saturday dinner rush. The gyoza appetizer was delicious. I asked the waitress if it was made fresh in house and she said yes. I could tell right away when they came out that they were, in fact, homemade gyoza. They had the perfect amount of pork filling and the outside was soft and doughy. The dipping sauce added a much desired flavor for the filling. I loved that they added cabbage, carrot, and green onion on the top. The Miyazaki roll was truly delicious. It had the perfect amount of spice, topped with generous wagyu, and filled with the perfect crispy shrimp. The jalapeño aioli was so creamy and delicious. The sable silk roll was also a flavor combination I've never experienced before. Had the perfect amount of heat and sweetness. I loved the chili oil on top as well as the fish. It was melt in your mouth. The unagi was seared to perfection and was also so soft. The snow crab inside was delicious as well. All the flavors worked together and their sushi was truly some of the most flavorful I've ever had in Utah. Miyazaki truly has incredible quality fish that they use for their sushi. The Wagyu medallions were out of this world. Cooked to perfection and seasoned exactly how you would like. There was so much flavor in this dish. I truly cannot wait to come back soon. I highly recommend Miyazaki.

I had ordered the King Katsu with the sauce on the side and the sauce added a delicious thick, tangy, and sweet sauce that elevates the dish. I came out of here full considering I ordered the Katsu and sushi roll and ate it all by myself for a total of about $40. I am a little bit of a big back so I would definitely recommend bringing another person with you as one meal can easily satisfy two people. We sat in the restaurant table and chairs. Started with a small cup of Miso. Was reduced with enough level of savory deep rich miso. Ordered Baja Roll. Katsu Curry and King Katsu. Portion and size haha wouldn't fit on our 4 top table. People use their fist as reference and they are not joking. Thoughts. The king katsu was pounded too thin. My opinion. Super crunch with lots of panko. Sauce is good. Balance of some sweet and savory. Sesame dressing on the finely chopped slaw was good. Asian sweet mayo like dressing. Curry was ok. Nothing specially. Like the cutlet on the curry katsu more than the king katsu. Baja roll was the only thing I didn't like. The herbaceous cilantro in the roll didn't work for me. Also could have more fish to rice ratio.
