They also gave me great advice on how to buy a new one that would fit into the compact space. 10 stars!!!

I gave them a call and they had my part in stock and cheaper than online sites. Customer service was friendly and laid back, definitely not politically correct... but sometimes that's refreshing. A throwback to how things use to be everywhere before so many got bent outta shape over nothing... I digress. The counter folks were helpful and informative, didn't upsell me on garbage, and made sure I had everything I needed to make the repair. We talked about what could be the cause of failure for the part I was replacing. That helped me realize maybe I should change another integral part out as well, which they had readily available at a great price too. It definitely wasn't an upsell as I was trying to determine the initial cause of the failure. Their explanation made me realize that I'd rather not chance another failure if avoidable. Overall, a dying breed of a business selling replacement parts needed to repair all those appliances with planned obsolescence. Why spend hundred$$$ on replacing the whole appliance when you can spent $10-20 and a 1/2 hour of the day and be up and running?!?

Found the problem in about 10 min, ran back to they're warehouse to grab the part, and were back in about 10-15. Plugged it in and it emidiatly started blowing cold in the fridge and freezing the freezer. Instead of asking if wed like to finance, she IMMEDIATELY swiped my husbands card. We had to ask her to remove it, so we could discuss financing, and her whole personality swapped the second we brought it up. The guy next to her was VERY nice and understanding but the second we mentioned financing the woman kind of just stared at us. The nice facade disappeared. We were denied financing. She proceeded to try to pressure us to just straight up buy it. We're new home owners trying to make finances stretch... that wasnt happening, not for 2k. So we told her we'd be back another day after running numbers. The man at the desk was super friendly said it wasnt a problem but the woman, kind of just sat there and glared at us. Not a great experience. Not to mention the prices are insane. They had stools by the front door for over $300... we wont be returning. Home depot is cheaper AND has nicer employees.

Was staying with my cousin when her fridge went out she of course has one of those new computerized…read more fridges so she called one place and they told her it would be $3000 to fix her expensive fridge. She then called Affordable Appliance and the technician Fred was great! He not only fixed the fridge but it only cost a little over $400. Honesty is a rare quality to find and Fred was quick and lucky for us he had the part on hand and we didnt have to wait nor did my cousin have to basically junk her expensive fridge to buy a new one. Michael is a high integrity, true professional. He called me back within 90 minutes. Then, within…read moremoments of arrival, he quickly found the 2 screws that had fallen out of tenant's pocket and wedged into back of clothes dryer...which were causing the squealing noise. But, did he stop at that? No, not this professional. Since he was already there and having to charge me for the call, he proceeded to spend a full hour completing taking apart the dryer, lubing every part, cleaning out any lint from the back, unplugging, disengaging and re-engaging the unit and checking it again at every step of the way.
