The counter folks were helpful and informative, didn't upsell me on garbage, and made sure I had everything I needed to make the repair. We talked about what could be the cause of failure for the part I was replacing. That helped me realize maybe I should change another integral part out as well, which they had readily available at a great price too. It definitely wasn't an upsell as I was trying to determine the initial cause of the failure. Their explanation made me realize that I'd rather not chance another failure if avoidable. Overall, a dying breed of a business selling replacement parts needed to repair all those appliances with planned obsolescence. Plugged it in and it emidiatly started blowing cold in the fridge and freezing the freezer. Never Again! I wanted to support local and not just go to the big box stores. I paid for what they…read moredescribe as "Deluxe Delivery", not what I received. Prior to purchase I talked to James regarding upstairs location and limited space in the closet. I provided the measurements and pictures of the area. I was assured that this tower unit would fit and that their delivery personal would be able to install it. The day of delivery I had cleared all furniture in the path as requested. I talked to the delivery personal about being careful with flooring on the stairs. The 3 delivery people showed not respect to my home. Their carelessness resulted in 4 of the stairs bullnose molding being deeply gouged and will have to be replaced. Once the unit was in the closet the door would not close. Their solution was to push it back crushing the venting tube. When I suggested that if it was moved a few inches to the left, they said that it would not work and would not even try. When they left, I was told that someone would be calling me regarding the damage, I have not received a call. One of the delivery personal stated "We have people that come fix this stuff", so I guess this is a common problem for them.

Was staying with my cousin when her fridge went out she of course has one of those new computerized…read more fridges so she called one place and they told her it would be $3000 to fix her expensive fridge. She then called Affordable Appliance and the technician Fred was great! He not only fixed the fridge but it only cost a little over $400. Honesty is a rare quality to find and Fred was quick and lucky for us he had the part on hand and we didnt have to wait nor did my cousin have to basically junk her expensive fridge to buy a new one. But, did he stop at that? No, not this professional. Since he was already there and having to charge me for the call, he proceeded to spend a full hour completing taking apart the dryer, lubing every part, cleaning out any lint from the back, unplugging, disengaging and re-engaging the unit and checking it again at every step of the way. He not only knew what was wrong but showed up with the part the washer needed in hand. You don't get that kind of service technician unless they have experience!
