David from HVAC Miracles was right on time for the scheduled appointment to clean both the chimney and air ducts. I needed both done so finding one company to do the work was a great find. That combined with HVAC Miracles' great reviews on Yelp fit the bill perfectly. I had a little trepidation because I didn't know what this would cost me and I knew that I'd be given an estimate on site. David gave us a very reasonable quote for both jobs and was personable, thorough, and diligent. One thing I was warned about was some techs who might use a different way to clean air ducts that is more invasive, which potentially pokes holes in the ducts and allows spiders to come in, attracted by the heat. I definitely didn't want this and I'm sure our buyer didn't either, but David's method worked great and was non-invasive. He followed up by cleaning individual vents by hand and even replaced the air filter, which he added gratis. Excellent! For the chimney, it was way less of a mess than I expected but David still laid down a protective barrier between any soot released and our brand new flooring. Thankfully it wasn't over carpet, but he was very neat. You can see in one of the pictures how much soot was released over 17 years of usage. Those creosote logs can only do so much. David's experience was evident in his efficiency and ability to multitask both jobs. The job was completed in under an hour. I can heartily recommend Dave and HVAC Miracles. He's a hard-working and friendly guy with 10 years of experience who offers fair pricing. All of this is appreciated.
