The salesperson who handled our order clearly did not have the experience required to properly measure, specify, or advise on door selections. He visited our site multiple times to measure and confirm details, and we went over everything thoroughly and very specifically. Despite that, critical information about material variations, sizing differences, and height changes were never disclosed, even when directly relevant to the doors we selected. When the order finally arrived, multiple doors were wrong, sizes were incorrect, and several items were damaged. Instead of taking responsibility, the salesperson attempted to shift the blame onto us--despite the fact that we clearly communicated our requirements and relied on his supposed expertise to ensure they were met. It is not the customer's job to know door construction standards and material tolerances. That is the company's responsibility. The situation required multiple escalations to management. There has been poor communication, ongoing delays, and additional costs on our end to repair and correct issues that should never have occurred in the first place. Weeks later, we are still waiting on replacement doors and resolution. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating, time-consuming, and expensive. The level of disorganization, lack of accountability, and overall incompetence we encountered was unacceptable. I would highly recommend choosing another company if you want your order handled correctly the first time.

We weren't sold on the colors available but Jennifer quickly came up with a resolution. She was able to match a sherwin williams color we loved and have applied to cabinets. The cabinets arrived, were installed in a day. We were truly happy for the extreme facelift they gave to this faceless kitchen. They were able to add functionality and space without compromising the age and style of an older home. The sales staff was gracious, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We visited while planning a massive bathroom and pool renovation at our home. Compared to their competition, options here tend to be more upscale and sophisticated. We appreciated that! However, the selection is much smaller than their competitors. That doesn't impact the beauty of their tile, and many will be thoroughly satisfied with their experience here. The primary annoyance at the Tile Shop is that the names of tiles and their allowed usage (wall only, floor only, allowed in showers, allowed in pools) are written in tiny font and difficult to read. At their largest rival store in Cool Springs, everything is labeled quite clearly in legible font with name, brand, usage, and recommended grout color. With a much larger selection elsewhere, we didn't end up buying from the Tile Shop. Keep in mind that they offer very nice products and expert designers to help with your project. The Tile Shop is not a subpar store by any means. It just wasn't for us as we needed a larger store with a more efficient experience scouring through aisles of tiles.
