I had a very disappointing experience with T&T Asphalt and would not use this company again…read more I hired them to complete a parking lot project and paid approximately $16,000 toward the work. Throughout the project, I was repeatedly asked to make additional deposits as they moved from one stage to another. I was initially approached with what sounded like a good opportunity. They told me they had a load of material that needed to be used right away and could offer it to me at a discounted price. I agreed, but unfortunately, the project was started and never completed. There seemed to be one reason after another for the delays. At one point, their equipment caught fire on my property, and we had to use our own fire extinguishers to help put the fire out. Those fire extinguishers were never replaced. The weather was also repeatedly blamed. However, there were many workable days when they did not show up or made very little progress. The project continued to drag on until the weather actually became bad, at which point I was told the work would have to be postponed for a couple of months. By then, they had already received substantial payments from me. Now, months later, communication has essentially stopped. I have repeatedly attempted to contact them by phone calls, text messages, emails, and even postal mail. My attempts to get a response and have the project completed have gone unanswered. I am extremely disappointed that after paying approximately $16,000, I am still left with an unfinished parking lot. T&T Asphalt was operated by a father-and-son team, both named Terry, who traveled from Louisiana to complete my project. After this experience, I later found out they are operating without proper licensing and insurance. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company independently verify their license, insurance coverage, business address, and credentials before paying any money or allowing work to begin. I hope sharing my experience prevents someone else from going through what I have been dealing with. They may show you pictures, make promises, or offer what appears to be a great deal, but please do your own research and verify everything before handing over your money.

Would love to give zero stars. In March I hired Madewell Concrete LLC of Nashville to install my…read moredriveway (two-thirds of my drive: the other one-third of drive is in fine condition - over ten years old). Approximately 75 yards of concrete. I was told this driveway held a 10 year warranty from cracks and breakage. I paid in full - $30,000. Within 2 weeks, I noticed several cracks and crumbling chunks (about a 12' x 12' section and two complete corner/side failures). For over a month I have been sending photos and hearing back from Madewell Concrete LLC of Nashville that they would fix the driveway. But, it was always me initiating the phone calls and e-mails. About a month ago, Caleb (area manager) said it would be $1,500 to fix. Then I heard nothing. May 27, Caleb (the area manager) returned. When I asked if he was planning to fix as we discussed a month ago (I was willing to forego the $1,500 to put this to bed), he informed me "You better read your warranty. These are stress cracks. Not covered." I can literally place my fist and foot through the holes, I picked out huge stones in front of him. Still crumbling down to sand. Caleb said the cost to fix is now $2,500. Now I am left looking to deal with a Lawyer and BBB - when all they had to do was fix the small section that failed...and I would have been satisfied. How do you do this and live with yourselves....

They were finished and waiting on the haul away truck and said it was on its way so packed up and left. With a huge pile of dirt on our newly sodded front lawn. The haul away truck never arrived, they responded for a day or two there were issues and it was coming then no more responses, we called higher up the management chain and they acted shocked and would be immediately following up - then nothing, never heard from and stopped answering. It ended up costing us an extra $1500 to haul it away!! Plus the $300 thé scammed out of me at the end of the job. Very dishonest and I warn you they look professional and send all the right notes. Terrible rating on the Better Business Bureau site too.
