From the very first phone call, JC was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They scheduled a free in-home consultation within a couple of days, and the consultant arrived right on time, listened carefully to what I wanted, and offered fantastic suggestions without any high-pressure sales tactics. He took precise measurements and helped me choose the perfect style, color, and finish that complements my décor perfectly. The installation crew was just as impressive. They showed up on the exact day promised, laid down drop cloths to protect my floors, and worked efficiently and neatly. The shutters were custom-made and fit every window like a glove--no gaps, no adjustments needed. The quality is outstanding: solid hardwood, smooth operation, and that classic, elegant look that instantly elevated the whole house. What I appreciated most was the attention to detail. They even adjusted the tilt rods exactly how I wanted them and made sure I knew how to clean and maintain everything properly. The pricing was fair and transparent--no hidden fees or surprises on the final bill. Honestly, it felt like a premium service at a very reasonable cost. I've already get compliments from everyone who visits, and the difference in light control, privacy, and insulation is night and day. I recommend Elite Decor to anyone looking for plantation shutters (or any window treatments, really). They're true professionals who take pride in their work, and it shows. If you're on the fence, go with them--you'll be as delighted as I am! Thank you for transforming my home!

Not only were they timely, quick to respond, they were also very service oriented. After having met with other companies, budget blinds of Coral Gables provided competitive rates, brought in plenty of samples at the time of initial visit and gave us lots of options for our blinds project. They were also very communicative and timely when he came to installation time. We are so happy with the results and plan to use them in the future for additional projects.

The blinds let in so much light we can't sleep. It's awful, and we feel deeply misled. When we said that the solution did not meet our goal of blackouts, the salesman Jose got defensive and took no responsibility. He first blamed a poor installation, then changed his story to say that all blinds are like that. That simply is not true. I've never lived anywhere with blinds so poorly matched to the windows. I think this company hires con artists who are taught to sell, sell, sell. I'd stay away and find someone else.

A&M's salesperson Jason answered questions in an extremely timely manner. If I wrote the email in the evening or on the weekend, he responded. I couldn't have asked for a better sales professional. They even worked with me to install the doors I wanted, even though I did not purchase the doors from them. They installed all the windows and doors in one day. Three trucks and at least 6 employees. They sent back one installer the following day to install the window sills. I could not be happier. Other than some dust (expected) you would never even know they were here. They cleaned up every bit of scrap and removed the old windows, screens and frames. The employees could not have been nicer (even with my non-existent Spanish). I HIGHLY recommend this company if you are thinking about doing your doors and windows

FIRST ONE, took 3 weeks to get a quote (I could only imagine how long it would take to get the work done) and the price was shockingly high SECOND and THIRD contractors I reached out to never even returned the calls The FORTH and FIFTH contractors finally came through with quotes and both were fairly priced. I went with Family Shutters over the competitor number based on customer service and not the price (both were about the same cost). Once I received my quote I had questions; I spoke with Rene Mejia (I believe he is the operations manager) who made himself available to answers question or to clarify points I didn't understand. As a contractor myself, I had numerous questions regarding the installation and materials; Rene always took the time to be in contact with me (very helpful and convenient). Once agreed to the terms and ready to do the work, I gave my deposit (a fair, small percentage compared to many contractors out there that require ridiculous deposits). Work was scheduled and the installer showed as promised. Once the installation was completed (by Ray) I had a couple questions for Rene to verify the installation would pass my insurance inspection and he explained everything and even gave reassurance that if I had any issue or problem, then he would stand behind the product and have it taken care of.
