VERY DISHONEST MANAGEMENT Kara a waitress, took my Motorola Moto G Pure phone and Sloppy Joe's "coozie" into safe keeping after I stepped away from the outside bar for only 15 minutes to walk my dog. Kara negligently allowed the phone to fall 4' to the concrete floor and land in a shallow puddle of water. Kara also "misplaced" my Sloppy Joe's coozie...never to be found. My husband just brought home Baja fish tacos. This was after I decided to give this place a second chance after my below average chicken quesadilla from last week. The quesadilla was small, full of large pieces of dry chicken and unseasoned tomatoes, with a hint of cheese. Disappointing to say the least. I like to write positive reviews, I rarely write a negative one. But these tacos were not only bland and lacking in ingredients, but the one addition I was looking forward to, and paid a $1.00 extra for, the guacamole, was rotten. I saw that it looked bad, but I thought I'd try it anyways and then had to scrape it off. During this time, I expect a restaurant's take out game to be just as good as their dine in game. So I work at the Nuke plant on Hutchinson Island near Jensen Beach. I asked around where's a good to watch football seeing that the Treasure Coast has no team to call there own. I was told head on over to Hurricanes. So I deck myself in my ATLANTA FALCONS attire and proceeded up to Hurricanes to represent the birds in style while they take on the Eagles. I soon learned that this bar was an all out Eagles fan bar- PERFECT! Too shorten my story, let's just I gave 'em hell. But as for the bar, the wings are tasty but none of there sauces were spicy enough for me. I want a good challenge while I eat wings almost to where I regret having ever eaten them. Hurricane Grill is a local chain known for their unique chicken wing sauces and rubs, and a place I go when looking for game day food. This is the second time I've tried their Jensen Beach location after an initial mediocre experience, and they certainly are consistent when it comes to mediocre. Not like the Indian Street location in any way. I ordered five wings Jamaican jerk dry rub and five wings hot garlic Parmesan for pickup. The hot garlic Parmesan wings were swimming in a sauce that's just hot wing sauce with minced garlic. I waited for my order to come out, and in the time it took me to get home they were a soggy, sopping mess. The Jamaican jerk wings were completely the opposite--almost zero rub on the wings or in the box. I suspect the spice is more valuable than gold, because at $17 for 10 wings, I would have expected some flavorings, but the were so devoid of spice that I pulled the meat off with my fingers and fed them to my dogs. So what I got was two soggy wings I suffered through before throwing away the rest and five bland wings that my mutts thoroughly enjoyed. One last tip, in case they read their reviews. Pre-bagging the celery wet and putting it in the fridge only assures you deliver the customer celery with a consistent slime coat. read more

We just left this Hurricane Grill. We ordered a Terriki Beef Bowl ($10.49) a steak dish, my husbands favorite. When the dish arrived, the meat was Pot Roast meat, used for the Korean slow cooked beef bowl ($7.99) NOT STEAK. We immediately advised the waitress, she advised my husband that the pot roast meat was in fact steak. When my husband insisted there had been an error, she told him his taste buds were off. We asked for the manager, but were advised Manager was not there. My husband called the restaurant when we returned home to advise of the error and the "manager", (Not really sure it was) advised that all Hurricanes use the same menu, but dishes are differently prepared. Family had recommended Hurricanes for lunch for great cheese fries. We have been back several times since and they are always consistent. I love wings and their garlic parm buffalo sauce is the best. The chicken wings are really good, many choices of rubs and sauces. Burgers were also good. Plenty of draft beers on tap, big screen tvs everywhere. Good place to catch a game. Outdoor patio allows smoking. Service is efficient and semi friendly. Slows way down when they are busy, though. Overall a good choice for a casual tasty meal and a beer. read more

Misleading coupon and sketchy service. Came in with DAD EATS FREE coupon on father's day. 17 dollar entrée as was the limit. The cocktails poorly made, service was painfully slow and less than 50% full. Definitely a locals hang out and if your not one of the insiders, you will wiat for food, drinks and service.. We will not be back and we are locals, which is the funniest part recognizing several of our employees sitting at the bar as we were leaving. Thye greeted us, introduced us to the co owner wife also the bartender and was immeaditely treated the way we would have like to been recieved walking in the door. This is by far the worst restaurant i've ever been to. I ordered a hurricane burger only to get a greasy patty with a burnt bun. I felt it could have been a mistake, so I went back again only to have the same thing happen. The service was below average. Our waiter clearly didn't want to take our orders and mixed up what everyone got. Nobody got what they ordered. Overall, it was very disappointing. And I don't feel like coming back again. read more
