However, I decided to give it another chance, and I'm so glad I did because everything completely changed. For quite some time now, we've been coming here almost every Friday, and sometimes even during the week. The service, food, and atmosphere have been consistently great, but what truly makes our Friday nights special is Amanda. Amanda is an amazing bartender who makes the best margaritas I've had in the area, but beyond that, she has such a fun and welcoming personality that keeps us coming back. Over time, we've even met other regulars on Friday nights who feel the exact same way. At this point, we don't just come for the good food and drinks -- we come because Amanda makes every visit such a great experience. Everything was absolutely amazing! I had a mango tea which I enjoyed. My cousin ordered a painkiller she was very good besides the coconut pieces falling down the cup. Spinach dip is 10/10! Buffalo shrimp was 6/10 think it could have been better if it was tossed in the sauce. I had the bourbon salmon and shrimp it was soo good I ordered another to go. Visited this location on Sunday afternoon about 1230. It was not packed at all, we got seated immediately. My daughter wanted the cheese curds as soon as we got in, they are a favorite of hers so the server put her order in along with her soft drink and our honey butter croissant first because my husband and I was still undecided, our sever was so patient as he came to check on us about 3 times before we were actually ready to order. I finally settled for a Texas Frozen Swirl Mango and was given the option for a salt or sugar rim which I appreciated because I prefer a sugar rim, and it was so good, I also got the monte cristo with a side of broccoli casserole, it came out hot and fresh and so delicious, I love the raspberry dipping sauce it just pairs so well. My husband tried the spasanga for the first time and he said it was amazing, it looked good from where I was sitting. The restaurant was quiet and casual, the restrooms were very clean. Cheddars has always been good to me, I am sad there isn't one in within West Palm Beach. The food is always great portions and served quickly. We dined in on our way back to West Palm Beach. I ordered broccoli casserole snd coleslaw. The chicken was crunchy just like I remembered. The portion is huge. It comes with 5 large tenders. I ate three cans brought two home along with some coleslaw, I finished the broccoli casserole. It was delicious. The coleslaw was delicious as well. The service was very good. She was checking on us often. The restaurant has booths and tables as well as a separate bar area. They have 5 lunch specials on the menu. It was at least 4 -5 minutes before we were even acknowledged after being seated. Couldn't even find someone to flag down. We ordered right away. Six oz sirloins with two sides. The steaks were just so so. You get what you pay for ($14.99). The 'green beans' were inedible. Tasted like the can they came out of. Soft vinyl consistency. We've been at Cheddars before and the food has been ok. They serve honey, coated croissants to the table. They were good. Tonite I ordered the 6 oz sirloin. I ordered it median rare. I started with a house salad. Only lettuce and 3 half cherry tomatoes. A few croutons and shredded cheese. No other salad ingredients. My sirloin was served rare, lots of pepper on it and chewy. Really chewy. I usually don't send things back. I ate some of it but most of the bites went into my napkin. Too chewy and rare! I did complain to the waitress after she came to the table. She was great and saw most of the steak in a wet napkin. She had the manager take off my meal from the bill. That.. was a good thing. My husband had the chicken pot pie. He said it was good. So I was disappointed in my meal. We won't be going back anytime soon read more

I normally prefer not to go to chain restaurants. Normally the quality isn't there because corporate just sucks the life out of every restaurant. I'm more of a small business mom and pop, let's support small businesses kinda girl. But crazy enough over the years. We have collected a very large amount of gift cards that have accumulated. His mom keeps giving us those gift cards that give you the same options of like five different restaurants. Neither one of us has ever been to Cheddars before, but we have seen the sign. My girlfriend lives in the area and recommended this place and says it's fantastic and raves about this drink called painkiller. The crazy thing about the rule of ordering a painkiller is you can only have two per person. I don't know if I'm an alcoholic, but after one I didn't feel anything. Is it a tropical drink with your typical coconut pineapple mixture with other concoctions in it, served in a large margarita glass....Not bad. I would pass on it next time. I'd rather stick with my vodka soda and it has way less calories. OK, so my first impression with walking in it seems very nice. We spot at the bar and opted for that instead of a table. This is our normal Wednesday night date night and table is just boring and we can go do that at home. The bar is off to the side and is pretty large. The bartender seems a bit overloaded for not a busy night but he was very pleasant and did a great job. The menu has a lot of great options. I normally try to stay away from the fried food since I'm not at a fast food restaurant. Or am I? Potato soup - you won my heart and you taste way better than Panera bread version. Now I have to mention the Buttery croissants that are served to you complementary. Holy cow, was this delectable in every shape and form. How do they make this unbelievably mouthwatering delicious. My husband wanted to save his for after dinner as his dessert because it was so sweet. And I do not mean sweet as a bad way just seems more appropriate for after dinner. But life is short, eat your dessert first. Key West shrimp and chicken - comes with rice and two sides. I got a side of green beans and broccoli. Holy freaking butter! Did they literally put a whole container of butter when cooking this meal? I swear if every parents made green beans, the way that this restaurant cooks green beans, those kids would eat them up like candy. The chicken was good. I wish the toppings of the pineapple salsa concoction they put on it was more flavorful. Crazy enough everything else on the dish had so much sugar and butter. Don't get me wrong this dish and my husband's dish was excellent. But there is no way in hell is this healthy in any way shape or form. If you want a meal that's not saturated with sugar and butter please let them know to cook everything plain. If I come back here to use the rest of the gift cards, I'm going to have to do that. I swear it tells you the calories on the menu, but I feel like you have to triple that amount. The food was phenomenal. It was great atmosphere, good bartender everything came out good amount of time. The drinks were good, the price of our bill was very reasonable. But can you lighten it up with all the shit you put on the food? People see the veggies, chicken, shrimp and steak and they think they're eating healthy because there's no carbs but all the shit you're cooking it with is the stuff that will clog your arteries and will kill you very slowly while dying of a heart attack. My husband and I had dinner at Cheddar's this weekend. I must say, this was our worst experience. It started out well; however, it quickly became a culinary disaster. We ordered onion rings, which are usually light and crispy. The onion rings were burnt and hard. My husband ordered the meatloaf for dinner. I had chicken and shrimp with fries and broccoli. I was served corn instead. There was no major problem since my husband had asked for corn. It was an easy mistake and was quickly changed. The problem was what I was given instead. A plate of soggy broccoli that looked like it was pulled from a boiling pot of leftover pieces after the good broccoli had been removed. I didn't eat it. I just took a picture of it. To make matters worse, my husband spent the rest of the night ill from his food. While the waitress's demeanor was nice, she served us without care for presentation and appeared to be overwhelmed. I don't know about you but I was taught to always wait till everyone has their food to eat together. Yes they forgot the other parties plate and barely apologized for it. I kept picking at my food but I didn't want to be rude. When it finally arrived it was just OK. My rack of ribs were tender but just OK nothing to brag about. The other plate that we received 20 minutes late was taken to go. It was just an unfortunate experience, I was hoping for more.
