Dan at Hurricane is extremely honest and that is a rarity in the business world. I use him for my moms house which was built in 1960 and has "Springtails" She has quarterly sprayings for control in the Spring to Fall. If you call Dan for any other issue he is very thorough and will walk you through it. Trust is the main thing I would say is the best thing about this company. I have been using Hurricane for almost 20 years. I live by forest preserves and knew I would need such a service as I hate bug. They have protected my home for all this time. So not only do they protect the perimeter of my home multiple times a year.... 1. They have helped with wasps multiple times with home in my marigolds. 2. They have sprayed for ants around my house. 3. They have placed poison for voles on my property 4. This year a bad issue with moles, they came out multiple times within a day. When laying poison for rodents, because I have three dogs, they are very conscience about not laying any poison within their reach. If you take the time they will often explain how to best avoid in the future or if they are just here to help. Always please. My goodness, I can't say enough. I am talking 20 years of service and experience. I have recommended them to multiple friends, all have been thrilled with their service. I am telling you, there is NEVER a bug in my house unless the dog brings it in and I see critters from my window all day, but none in my house! read more

These guys did awesome! They helped this summer with a hornet nest in the tree in front of my house. I noticed the nest one afternoon, and with neighbor kids playing close by, I didn't want to delay in getting the nest removed. I called and left a message, they called back in less than an hour and had someone at the house first thing next morning. We recently used Hurricane to address a termite issue. It took several calls to get someone to respond to setup a consultation, then they were 4 hrs late showing up. Once service was setup, they responded and the termite issue was resolved to our satisfaction. The problem was with the holes drilled into the concrete driveway. They filled the holes with tissue paper then sealed with a paper thin coat of poly sealer. The area was not properly cleaned before sealer was applied and as a result came loose within a few days allowing moisture to penitrate holes. We contacted Dan and told him the holes should be filled solid with the proper materials. There are several acceptable products available. He stated that they will come back, to clean area and repeat the previous procedure. As a retired cement finisher I know this not the proper way to fill the holes, so we refused to agree to that. His response was to ignore my expertice and to go pound sand. Future customers Beware! read more

I have used them for three years. They are the best! They are professional, polite, and there follow through is unmatched. I originally used them to get rid of a bee infestation that took them three visits to irradiate. Never a question as to why I needed them to return, always "don't worry about it we'll get rid of them" and they came out quickly. They solved the problem. I signed up for there yearly outdoor service that covers all kinds of insects. When ever I have an issue, we seem to have a lot of wasps, there right out hear. No problem. I even had some in a bird feeder which would not have been covered in their service and they took care of it anyway. I highly recommend them and their annual service. read more

I would definitely upgrade the 5 star to a six if possible . I hired the Hurricane exterminators to fix a bug problem, during the first phone call I was given accurate and very honest information and great customer service. I did not feel in any way that they was just trying to get my money. I set my 1st visit for 10:30 am , the gentleman came out on time explained to me in detail the work needed to be done, he also gave me prevention tips, i also got a follow up visit at my request. It's been over a week and so far no issues regarding bugs, affordable price but more importantly great customer service, I would definitely recommend Dan and his Hurricane team.
