However, soon after, the county stopped the project due to Mr. Hill not obtaining the proper permits. While we were waiting for the county to issue the required permits, Mr. Hill, without my knowledge or permission, prematurely withdrew all the project funding. Later, while I was away, he called me with a cheerful tone to inform me that he had charged me the full amount of future project funding -- totaling approximately $70,000. That was when I realized this man had acted dishonestly and unprofessionally. My backyard and awning project has been left incomplete and is still waiting for him to return -- which he has not, leaving the job unfinished and me at his mercy. After waiting more than a year, I have finally decided to take legal action and report him to the state and the court.

On 5/3 we went to store and office girl looked up order on computer and said it was being shipped in 10 days. 10 days came and went-we heard nothing. We sent email stating it be installed by 5/30 or refund of deposit returned. On 5/29 VP sent email saying full refund would be returned in 7-10 days. Its been 3 weeks and NOTHING. No refund, they won't return calls, won't return emails. They have taken our money, lied to us, won't return calls or emails. Have left message for President of company, as well and she has not called us either.

I was given some information & guidance about reaching out to my HOA, which I had not thought of so that was helpful. They gave me options for the repair and all I had to do was choose the time frame. The overall the experience was convenient as they sent me an invoice. I was able to pay a portion of the bill until after they completed the replacement. They arrived promptly, actually early, on the agreed upon date and the beam was exchanged within 2 hours.
