Hurley's at YUL is a solid airport pub stop, especially if you're a fan of Irish pubs like I am. The food was surprisingly good for an airport location, and the drinks hit the spot while we waited out a long flight delay. What really stood out was the staff; super accommodating and kind enough to let us linger far longer than usual without making us feel rushed. We kept ordering drinks while we waited, but they still made us feel welcome the whole time. For an airport bar, that kind of hospitality really makes a difference.

While at YUL with a coworker, we sought a place to sit down for an hour and enjoy some coffee, so we stopped in here. They have a bar and it wasn't crowded, so we figured it would be fine, but the bartender said we needed o buy food if we were going to sit at the bar. We decided to just order a avocado toast and enjoy our coffee. The avocado toast was actually really good. The coffee was great. But the service was odd, considering we needed to buy food at a bar to sit at the bar at breakfast time. Prices are too high for what you get, but it is an airport.

Prices were far too high, even for an airport

Ate at the "local" Irish pub at the airport during a layover in Montreal. We waited 10 mins for the hostess to even show up and then another 10 for our server to come say hi, even though it was only 3/4 full. My wife ordered a Caesar Salad and glass of wine while I got the Cheeseburger and a Labatt's Blue. Our lunch arrived in about 15 mins but we made good choices. The salad was large, as was my cheeseburger but the cost was way out of line, even for an airport restaurant. I mean, $17.50 for a glass of wine? C'mon. After we had finished, put our napkins on our plates and assumed utterly bored poses, our server showed his face again 15 minutes after we finished. That was the only reason we were happy with our four-hour layover. I would recommend a different restaurant. The service was awful and the prices were ridiculous

Urban Sandwich at the bar. Smoked meat, egg, cheddar on a brioche bun.

After passing a few to-go counters at the airport, I paused at Hurley's and decided a leisurely breakfast would be the best way to while away some time. Hurley's was serving breakfast but since it was the airport, guests were enjoying Guinesses with their eggs. A huge bar dominated the space, with small tables throughout. Guests, singles and groups, came and went, many of them also taking a pause in their travel. I wanted a smoked meat sandwich but as I said, Hurley's was only serving breakfast, so I had a close equivalent, the Urban Breakfast Bun. The sandwich featured the requisite egg and cheddar but was also topped with smoked meat, lettuce, and a tomato slice, as well. Potato wedges were served with the sandwich. I enjoyed having a meal that was not rushed and consumed in front of my laptop. Service was fine.

    Tiny fish nuggets & chips

The Fish and Chips shrunk in size by 75%. We came here last year and the fish portion was British sized now they are just nuggets. For $30 we felt it was poor value. Looks like it's our last visit to Hurley's until the end of time immemorial. The staff even apologized that portions underwent shrinkflation. Hurley's is not recommended!

For an airport restaurant this one was pretty good! They have a smoked meat poutine which was flavorful and the gravy didn't soak the fries. The service was a bit inattentive, but it's an airport bar, what can you ask for?

Our flight was delayed, so we decided to grab drinks and a bite to eat here as it was near our boarding gate. Typical airport bar/restaurant. My Stella draft was on point. The eight wings were on the scrawny side. Served on lettuce with no carrots or celery. And no blue cheese !!!! They only had ranch. The wings should have been meatier, or a full dozen, for the price.

It's somewhat strange to find an Irish themed pub inside a French Canadian airport, but here I am. I am here on Christmas Day as my flight was delayed a day. The Irish music was uplifting, but I refrained from dancing as I didn't know if I could keep my arms at my side. I ordered the Hurleys Hefty Platter, substituting a salad for the chips. The salad and dressing were excellent. The bun was toasted, and was like a pretzel bun. I'm not sure what to make of the burger patty. The menu said Canadian Beef, but it sure looked and tasted like a vegan burger. I checked my receipt, and it confirmed my Hefty order. Since I don't know the difference between US and Canadian beef, I suppose it could have been anything. Whatever it was, I was hungry so it hit the spot. The service was great as well. I'll probably order fish and chips next time as I'm pretty sure I can tell the difference between vegan and actual fish.

Ambiance was chill; waiter was nice. We made it just in time before waitstaff stopped serving food at 9pm. My husband like his fish, but chips were just so-so. Coleslaw is interesting--flavor is reminiscent of the dressing they put on seaweed salad. My turkey club was ok, nothing wow worthy, my poutine was barely warm, fries too soggy.

It's a cozy spot, but there is ample space provided if you have a large group. (There are quite a few TVs but it doesn't feel like they take over the space. There is also space for live music!) I didn't want to leave feeling overstuffed so I got the garden salad with chicken and it was so, so good. The seasoning on the juicy chicken is delicious, the greens and tomatoes were fresh, and the Parmesan shavings were exactly what I wanted. It was filling and a healthier pub option. The service itself was great. With so many other patrons, there wasn't a single moment where we felt like we had been forgotten and the waitress was extremely nice. My partner had a chicken sub which he really liked. I had a bite just to taste it and it was hard not to eat the whole thing. It was equally hard for me to not try their pasta but I might get that next time. I'm always aware of how much my meal contributes to the final bill, but I believe this salad was $13 before I added the $6 chicken. For the portion size and how tasty it is, I'm not complaining. Overall, it was a really nice experience. It's a great place to meet up with friends for a cozy dining experience that is still casual. I will definitely go back in the future.

This is where Bar Trois Devins comes in. Ambiance/decor : Very clean (including bathrooms). It has a heavy, sombre feel, with wooden beams and exposed brick, which is very appropriate. Drinks : What differs them from most bars is that they import beers and stay off the mainstream track. Kudos. Their cocktails aren't decorated like Mardi Gras, but very well mixed and taste good. Service : I was actually impressed on how fast our waiter served us, considering the bar was completely full. (to both bring our orders and when we were ready to check out). PRO : Location. Many enjoy the restaurants on that strip, yet feel that their night is cut short due to regular restaurant hours. It's right next to (walking distance) all the restaurants and is open late. CON : Due to the fact that it's one of the only bars in the area, it can sometimes attract a clientele that may not be right for you. If you are with a small or larger group, this would go unnoticed however. NOTE : This could be an interesting place to rent (as a venue). Reason of 3* rating : I was not blown away, considering Montreal is a bar&restaurant capital, but nothing disappointed me or anyone at my table.

Stopped by around 10 on a Wednesday night for a post meal pint. The place itself is very much pleasing to the eye. Reasonably priced draft with craft beers and a lot of imports you won't find most places (from Sam Addams to Bass). Scotch / whiskey collection behind the bar was nothing to joke about and the glass wall cellar was quite impressive. As for the staff, they were relaxed enough to make me believe it might have been the owner / manager and he was really top notch. He kept a good humor going with us throughout our stay without being too intrusive. Would definitely stop by to try their other beers if I find myself back in the area.

They could see that between two people we did not finish them - my partner ate them because he was that hungry; I had a few then ate a protein bar I brought with me. Server didn't check in but was next to us being made to do inventory of spirits yelling across to the manager the number of each type in the cupboard. We waited a long time to ask for the bill while our server was doing inventory. Asked another waiter for the bill who told us the other one had to bring it since she took our order but did not tell her we wanted it so we waited some more for them to finish inventory. I really hope they can improve their food quality, hire more servers, and provide them with clear training. The one waiter was very nice but running around like crazy. The tables are only being wiped down after customers are seated or ask - this is not hygienic at all.
