My boo asked for spiced apple cider, which they didn't have anymore, so settled on the Nutty Irishman which packed quite a punch. We shared the wedge salad and the Montreal smoked meat poutine. Both decent portions. Parts of the lettuce were brown and the smoke meat tasted off (like chemicals) to me, but maybe that was just me. Expensive airport pricing too! But service was great. We got stuck with a 4 hour delay and decided to use our meal vouchers here. Hard to go wrong an Irish pub, even in an airport. They were thankfully able to put together a table for the 3 of us pretty quick, with space for our stroller. The server was really friendly and helpful, attentive throughout our time there. The only thing was they happened to be out of the one dish my wife wanted to order, but she went with her second choice and was very happy with her sandwich. We waited 10 mins for the hostess to even show up and then another 10 for our server to come say hi, even though it was only 3/4 full. My wife ordered a Caesar Salad and glass of wine while I got the Cheeseburger and a Labatt's Blue. Our lunch arrived in about 15 mins but we made good choices. The salad was large, as was my cheeseburger but the cost was way out of line, even for an airport restaurant. I mean, $17.50 for a glass of wine? C'mon. While waiting for the plane we had lunch here since the options in this terminal were slim. Two of us had burgers and one person had the wings. The food was surprisingly good for an airport. A lot of the seating has outlets so you can charge your devices before getting on the plane. The poutine was ok. The wings were spicy and the service was fine. Hurley's was serving breakfast but since it was the airport, guests were enjoying Guinesses with their eggs. A huge bar dominated the space, with small tables throughout. Guests, singles and groups, came and went, many of them also taking a pause in their travel. I wanted a smoked meat sandwich but as I said, Hurley's was only serving breakfast, so I had a close equivalent, the Urban Breakfast Bun. The sandwich featured the requisite egg and cheddar but was also topped with smoked meat, lettuce, and a tomato slice, as well. Potato wedges were served with the sandwich. We were seated right away, but the food did take a while to come out and our server took a while to take our order, only because they are short staffed. It's somewhat strange to find an Irish themed pub inside a French Canadian airport, but here I am. I am here on Christmas Day as my flight was delayed a day. The Irish music was uplifting, but I refrained from dancing as I didn't know if I could keep my arms at my side. I ordered the Hurleys Hefty Platter, substituting a salad for the chips. The salad and dressing were excellent. The bun was toasted, and was like a pretzel bun. I'm not sure what to make of the burger patty. The menu said Canadian Beef, but it sure looked and tasted like a vegan burger. I checked my receipt, and it confirmed my Hefty order. Since I don't know the difference between US and Canadian beef, I suppose it could have been anything. Whatever it was, I was hungry so it hit the spot. The service was great as well. Hurley's a Yul is an Irish pub-style restaurant at the South-East end of the international departures terminal at the Montreal ("YUL") Pierre Elliot Trudeau airport. I had a long day of flying ahead of me, so I scanned the different food stops along the gate strip, hunting for something hearty, filling and tasty. Hurley's was it. There was another place at the opposite end that had burgers and sandwiches, but the Hurley's menu seemed closer to a sit-down restaurant menu, less a-la-carte. This place is busy. I waited at the receiving area for about five minutes before a server noticed me, and prompted me to sit at the bar. I stated I wanted my food to go, and ordered a "Murph" burger. My order took a bit long, maybe 20 minutes. This is understandable given how busy the place was, but was a bit worrisome for me since I had a flight to catch. I checked in with my waiter, Carmelo, and he quickly found out that the meal was being packaged to-go. Carmelo returned with my burger, and I rushed out to my departing gate. Once I opened my food on the plane, I was pleased to see that it was doubly-packaged in both foil and a styrofoam container, probably taking into consideration that my meal might get tossed around with travel. The fries, steak cut, were delicious, with an almost caramelized, toasted hint of flavor, not dry at all. My burger was so tasty. The caramelized onions perfectly complemented my beef patty which was well cooked, not overly done, so it kept it's profile of flavors. The jalapenos added a nice kick, and the havarti cheese matched the rest of the burger perfectly, bringing all the flavors together. I realized as I had paid that the burger cost $1 more than advertised. While it's not a big difference, it would be nice if the menu prices were as advertised, or if I had been told of the price difference. This and the wait, are the only reason I'm giving Yul's 4 instead of 5 stars. The food was really superb! read more

I have been to this iris pub located at the airport a couple of times. Great bar service. The bartenders introduce themselves which I find at other places 50% of the time and they ask when your flight departure is so they can tailor your experience and meal recommendations. She told me me she couldn't help me because she already got yelled at my the gentleman that was supposed to be doing our table.
