Northern VA schools were by and large good, and known entities to my wife and I, having lived in the area for years. Friends of ours had a daughter who did after-school work at C2, which eventually led us to reaching out for SAT prep - something neither of us did. Miss Jessica deserves kudos for the effort she puts out to go the extra mile. I wish some of the school counselors, and definitely some of the teachers we have dealt with would take the same level of concern she did. I guess you get what you pay for, sad to say. Any time my wife had an issue, she seemed to step up and help. She's the one you want to deal with. They don't let you talk to the teachers, but we still got reports on classroom activity (it's three students at a table, not one on one), and despite not meeting them, Shawn had a good rep, and Ted always seemed helpful. We liked the idea of combining with other driven students, as sometimes our child can take a little extra motivation. SAT score went up, grades went up, happy parents, happy student. Overall, we're happy enough that we'll be looking here for after-school tutoring as well. We hope there's another Miss Jessica to make us feel at home again!

He attended C2 on and off as needed until he graduated from high school. My 2 girls are currently in high school and use C2 on and off when needed as well. The 2 hour sessions pack a "punch" allowing them to study for tests and get homework done with the help of their very experienced tutors. It has been so helpful to have C2 to help with their AP classes, SAT prep and language help (French or Spanish). I highly recommend C2 Education!

My son has been going to Kumon for little over a year now. He used to go there a few years back as…read morewell, but I pulled him out of Kumon to send him to a different program (robotics class) in a different place which was useless. I realized my son lost almost a year's worth of learning experience at Kumon. My son is doing math and reading. He is progressing significantly in both subjects. He even got a medal for his excellent achievement in math during their recent award ceremony. It encouraged him so much that he is determined to get medals and trophies in both subjects at next award ceremony next year. He is at 4th grade as school. He usually has no homework from school. So, if he was not doing Kumon, all he would be doing at home is either watch tv or play online games. Kumon homework keeps him busy at least a few hours each week. Of course, it keeps me busy too checking his homework. Mrs. Lee is fully aware of each kid's learning needs and parent's expectations. She makes sure kids are getting best of their time and parents are happy to see their kids grow academically. If you have kids, give it a try and I guarantee you will be happy with your decision! Last year I had both kids at St. David's and quickly realized I found my place. This is my 3rd preschool I have attended and by far the most warm, loving and nurturing. When we first enrolled our daughter at one year old we were focused on the nurturing and loving environment, and we found just that and more at the Goddard School. As our daughter moved to the preschool and pre-k we realized our need for private kindergarten. We discovered that the Goddard School is the only accredited school in the area. This adds to all the amazing academics that made us continue to choose Goddard Schools over daycares in the area. We love that we have seen the consistency in the staff, many of them have been here since before we started three years ago. We highly recommend the Goddard School of Leesburg.

When Kiddie Academy closed due to landlord issues, we followed Hasna and her team without any hesitation. During the transition, I met with Madhu (owner) a few times and she was welcoming, understanding, and compassionate about the abrupt changes. My daughter is in the Panda class with Shannon and Gana. Shannon is one of the warmest souls I've met. Gana, who was part of the KA staff, cares for my daughter in such a way that my L recognizes it, and always goes to her at drop off, and is sitting on her lap at pick up! There is a strong emphasis on learning- but learning through play. Physical movement, art skills, sharing, books, dramatic play. I'm at such great peace leaving my daughter in the care of this wonderful staff!

Children are provided an opportunity to participate in educational activities of personal choice, following the Montessori approach. The teachers are so kind and the administration is responsive and competent. My kids learned so much more than I thought was possible in preschool and K and also developed an impressive Bible foundation.
