I am overjoyed with the care and dedication at this school! It is truely a treat to have my daughter attending this school. I wouldn't have her anywhere else. From the moment you walk in the door you feel their attentive care as the Assistant Director, Kaitlin, and Director, Hasna, greet each family intimately knowing every student and parent by name. My daughter is a more mature 2 and I had interest in her being placed in the 3s over the 2s class to keep her challenged. Upon our tour of Goddard Leesburg both of these fantastic ladies took time to meet me and my daughter, and took us to every class that fit her age/skills and watched her interact until they found the right class for her. This was HUGE to me. It means they actually cared about placing my daughter in the right class for her to properly grow and for the other children to flourish as well, making sure she matched their class synergy. You won't find a better dynamic duo in the child care development industry than these women. Their dedication to learning is paramount! It's no different with the teachers. Goddard holds a high standard for selecting teachers who truely love what they do. While I was touring other child care facilities in the area, I walked into a lot of rooms and was immediately turned off because you could tell the instructors were just collecting a paycheck and truely did not have an interest in child development. Upon my tour of the Goddard School Leesburg, I knew my little one who be in good hands. I met all of the instructors and they are all trained, experienced, and dedicated to child development as a career choice- they are doing what they love. In turn, you get happy kids. My daughter wakes up and actually ASK me to go to school. Ms. Ayesha and Ms. Johnnie are part of the family now. My daughter runs to embrace them with hugs and smiles. They also use this cool tool- the Tadpoles app- to send important messages, pictures and videos of your little one during yhe day so you can see what they are up to. Our first week of school, I had to fly out for work and I was able to see snapshots of my daughter so I didn't miss out on her school experience. Overall, in our 6 weeks, I have seen such a positive vibrance in her attitude and learning skills. It is all a mama bear can ask for. Our son has been attending The Goddard School for the past four months and we have been highly satisfied with the care he has been getting. The staff pays attention to every little detail and ensures that the children's needs come first. What makes this place even more special is that they understand and respect the special relationship between the parent and child and work with parents on creating that comforting environment for each and every child. They also understand that the needs for each child differ from one another and know to adjust and accommodate those needs. The Director, Hasna, and Assistant Director Kaitlin are always available for parents to answer any questions and provide support, may it be administrative or related to the child's care. Since this is our first child, we were very nervous as most first time parents tend to be. Ms. Hasna and Ms. Kaitlin were very welcoming, warm, perceptive, and knowledgeable. They were able to answer our questions to great length and address all of our concerns. They gave us a detailed walk-through of their facility and explained the several programs they have for different age groups. As our son spent time at the school, we noticed that in addition to giving him a warm and nurturing environment, the folks at Goddard also realize the importance in keeping things light and maintaining a good sense of humor while being professional at the same time ­. "We have been with Goddard Leesburg for three years. This school has brought incredible value to our family! The care and love given by the teachers and management every day is incredible! The day to day operation and act ivies are well planned and seamless for the parents. The teachers really have a lot of their own initiative and sense of ownership for each class, as well as so many of them being there for many years and having that great experience. I can trust my daughters are always safe within this school. The building and grounds went through a major renovation in the past couple years with the new owner Mr. Akhil. Under the new owner and the new management, Ms. Hasna, Ms. Kaitlin, and Ms. Kristen, this school has truly transformed into a Premier Preschool! Academically and socially my daughters are well prepared for Kindergarten and First Grade. The teachers always have knowledge and care for EACH student's needs throughout each classroom. The summer camp activities on a school bus made going to field trips easy. The exposure to STEAM activities during the summer camp really opened up my girl's world. After my oldest daughter's Kindergarten year, we were really trying to decide what to do for the summer. When we saw the itinerary for Goddard Leesburg's summer camp, it was an easy decision. Every week is packed with fun field trips and in-house events. Whenever I see parents visiting for the first time, I know these are things you can't see with a quick tour and I always want to take them aside and tell them how great this place is-so this is my chance to share my experience with new families! I am currently a staff and parent at the Goddard School in Leesburg. As a parent: My daughter is in the Infant room and her teachers are FANTASTIC! They go above and beyond to help her grow and learn new things at her own pace! She is learning how to use her fine gross motor skills and isn't just sitting in a bouncy all day like most centers! As a parent I don't think I could find a better infant room for her in this area! The art activities they do each day are very unique and i tend to want to keep them all! Which explains the huge pile of artwork in her baby book! I would recommend stopping in and checking out that room if you currently have an infant because they go above and beyond! As a staff: I teach with a group of amazing teachers and they all work there hardest to keep the children happy and safe at all times. WE take all the steps to do things The Goddard way instead of going around the corners and doings things halfway. The staff I work with work super hard and do extremely well with planning there lessons and other kinds of activities that are meaningful to the child's life. We have a great group of supervisors that work with us instead of just treating us like we are below them. As a staff we are given all the tools to further our education. As a teacher I don't think I could find a more loving group of staff who support each other. Our Owners, faculty and staff all work like ONE FAMILY! read more

Well I am beyond thrilled to have my son in great hands at The Goddard School in Leesburg with Director Hasna Belayachi and Assistant Director Kaitlin Townsend. I met these 2 wonderful ladies at the Kiddie Academy in Lansdowne over 1 year ago. They had made huge changes and improved the center enormously and then sadly the center was closing due to some issues between landlord and owner. After being with KA for over 7 years and 2 children, my husband and I decided we would be loyal to the owners and follow them at their other location in Leesburg. Well things never felt right from the beginning, but since I don't like change I thought it was just me but it was't just me. The Director was not accommodating and did not seem to care about my concerns or thoughts. The owners did not seem to have any input either. Very disappointing! Things went from worse to worse and 3 months later we pulled our son out of KA. I knew I would not have to worry about any of this nonsense with Hasna and Kaitlin. So I immediately contacted Hasna and here we are together again. I go to work happy not having to worry about my son. He is in great hands along with his wonderful teacher Jeanette. Couldn't ask for better. So happy and so relieved! Thank you ladies for doing such a great job! I wish there were more people like you in this world!!! read more

We moved to Goddard in July 2017 from another local daycare and have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience with Goddard and the team in Leesburg. The last 6 months have been very important after a really tough year prior. Here are some of the most important things we witness daily: 1. The entire staff is happy, well cared for, and well paid. They have time off with their families (to celebrate the holidays) and to care for their health, ect. 2. The admin staff is friendly, welcoming, and with our children daily. Ms Kristen and Ms Janah are in the rooms working with our kids and it is noticed and appreciated daily! 3. Our kids have been MUCH healthier, the facility is always clean and tidy. 4. Our kids are well loved and cared for, but the level of educational focus is amazing. This is a school, not a daycare. Our kids are finally excelling! 5. One of our Pre-K teachers went on maternity leave in October, but is so connected with our kids and the school she came back for every event; Halloween, Thanksgiving Lunch, ect. Our kids never questioned if she was coming back and that consistency with her and the other lead teacher was key! I highly recommend Goddard Leesburg to anyone looking for a new school or a change. We experienced some issues with a nanny that we had hired and in a pinch, we toured Goddard. We had exactly one day to find a school to put our son in without us having to take time off work which is difficult with our jobs. We took our son, then 5 months old and left him in what would be his classroom while we took the tour. When we returned, the teacher was playing with him, interacting with him, letting him play with the other students. The two teachers that are in his classroom are amazing. They are patient and gentle, tender and fair, and seem to genuinely care for him and his well being. The school has been wonderfully accommodating and considerate when things come up. They never hesitate to answer a question and never fail to give us their full attention when needed. All of the staff that we have met, including ones that are not in our sons classroom, have been wonderful. We have watched our son blossom while at Goddard. He is engaged and spends a lot of time learning. Even in the infant classroom, they have a curriculum! The teachers never hesitate to let us know how he is doing and to point out his achievements. We could not be more pleased with The Goddard School and are so glad that we chose them. read more

The Goddard School in Leesburg is truly a great place and school for any parent who wants an active enriching environment for their child combined with amazing teachers and a great director/assistant director team. Our little one is now almost 4 months old and they have been going there since 10 weeks of age. From day one we felt part of the Goddard Family. The teachers are welcoming and very informative. Every morning and afternoon Ms. Hasna and Ms. Kaitlin are there to great us to make sure everything is going well. The facilities are well kept and I feel very safe and secure when my child is at school. They are very conveniently located in Leesburg with flexible hours of operation. The curriculum, even from 2 months of age, is great. We get an email with all the information about their daily activities (who new a 2 month old would already be finger painting). The Tadpole app that they use is great, we are constantly updated with pictures throughout the day (some days more than others) and get details on all their meals, diapers and activities. I cannot say enough good things about Goddard and their staff. Looking forward to many years of exciting experiences for my little one. read more

The owners and new director are FANTASTIC! The owners are so involved and it is so obvious that they care about the education of the children. They are often there to greet and ask about your day, and they make a real effort to know the children individually. The director has created a staff of the most caring and qualified teachers and it is so evident that she has connected with all the families coming to this facility. She is making changes and adding to curriculum everyday! I truly love Ms. Hasna like family! I currently have 2 boys at the Goddard School of Leesburg, ages 3 and 1. I was amazed to see how quickly the boys adapted to the wonderful schedules and new staff. My son, PJ, LOVES his teacher and class curriculum and comes home everyday talking about new things he has learned..it's awesome! My son Luke, age 1, adores his teacher, jumping into her arms each morning. As a working mom it gives me so much peace as I head off to my day. Both classes have the boys on a great schedule and they are active and outdoors as much as possible, which I love. Also, the facility is clean and bright. Our 3 year son has been in this Goddard school for over a year now, and we could not be more happy with his development. The facility is relatively new and always clean and well kept. The administrators are always available and very attentive to us and our son, even greeting us in a very personal and engaging manner when we arrive in the morning. They have a very active Parent-Teacher Organization and organize many activities outside of the classroom for the enjoyment and enrichment of the children/students there. The success of the developmental curriculum in use at Goddard schools is well documented and further attested to by the elementary school teachers who send their children there. The entire staff is both professional and nurturing and seem to know all the children at the school , not just the ones on their classroom. Our son's rapid social and educational development is not only noticeable to us but is also commented upon by his doctors and other professionals as well. My daughter has been attending the Goddard School in Leesburg for over two year. Throughout the years, she has blossomed into a wonderful young lady. Since then she has grown socially as well as academically. Their faculty is experienced, have their degrees and provide the children with very creative activities around their wonderful curriculum. I cannot praise the staff and teachers of The Goddard School enough. I was very wary and highly selective of where I wanted my firstborn to attend school. From day 1 Ms. Hasna and her wonderful team of teachers have put my mind at ease. It was very important to me that wherever my daughter attended Kindergarten it had an actual curriculum and her natural love of learning wouldn't be stripped from her from a restrictive structure. Through the F.L.EX. And STEAM programs my daughters natural strengths have turned into powerhouse skills (she is not even 5 yet and knows that carotenoids are!!) and her weaknesses are getting stronger by the day! The personal level of attentiveness to each child and their learning and personalities is unlike anything I have ever seen. I truly feel each staff member that has contact with my son genuinely cares for him. To me, that is the most important thing in a child care center. I can't say enough wonderful things about this center. This specific Goddard School location is well organized and secured. They are very strict about sharing your personal information to the point that it's easy to say the security and well-being of your child are the most important for them. We moved here two years ago and My child attended The Goddard School. The director(s), owner, and teachers were ALL involved with helping my child cope with the change. Everyone at the school is caring, friendly, and nurturing. The structure and education the kids receive is far greater than any other pre-school I visited. The thing that took the most getting used to was packing a lunch everyday. The school provides am/pm snack and there is pizza on Fridays (for an add'l charge - $1/slice). The school also encourages parents to participate in many special activities, including PTO, holiday parties, BBQs, pot lucks, and fairs. My husband and I have two children at Goddard in Leesburg, and cannot say enough about how attentive, caring, and gracious the teachers and staff are. The teachers go the extra mile to make each child feel special. Both our daughters attened Pre-school and Graduated from The Goodard School Kindergarten Program. We spent over 6 years at Goddard and now both girls are in the pubic school system. Goddard was not just a school it was part of our family. The owners & staff are considerate and professional. The student /teacher ratio gave our girls more one to one time to learn as well as to have fun. The teachers care about these children and work with you on any concerns you may have. The Goddard School in Leesburg is such a bright, cheerful place where we feel so welcomed. The staff is very friendly and professional. When we walk into the building, our daughter is always greeted by name by all the staff that we meet. She enjoys going to school and has learned many new skills and concepts. Both my 6yr old and 2yr old attend this school, and we are thrilled with our experience. When we were touring and interviewing schools initially what set the team at Goddard apart was that they immediately greeted my children after greeting us, and interacted with them throughout the whole tour. The other schools paid no attention to them, which was very disheartening. The teachers are wonderful, and seem to truly want to be there as opposed to it just being a job.
