The Carfax was exactly the same as the one I ran myself. They did NOT try to hide anything and did not switch or change any part of the deal once I got there, and I used to sell cars. This place is a disgrace. Totally incompetent. Started off by making a mistake and booking an…read moreappointment here early December to have my USB port and software on computer screen checked out. After dropping my Jeep off in the morning and then finding out 10 minutes before they were closing they actually had no time to even look at the vehicle. So now I had to race up there as they were closing to get my vehicle since I couldn't have them keep it overnight when I was told they would be able to look at it through the afternoon. The way I had received my car was an absolute disgrace . Dashboard was hanging out of the middle of the car, the hood wasnt closed and tools were in and on top of my Jeep. After speaking with Sean, the manager the next day, he assured me that they were just short staffed and was seemed truly sorry. He had also let me know that the part I needed, which I was told, was covered under my warranty, was ordered, and he would give me a call in the next few days when it was about to come in. That alone was a horrible situation. I must've called about 4-5 times during the month of December asking Sean where the part was and he kept assuring me it was on back order but it was coming after I was told numerous dates of when it was to arrive and never did . Long story short around Christmas I was able to make an appointment for January 8. This morning I brought the car in, got everything ready to go and as I am filling out my paperwork I am now told that the part is not covered under warranty ,that it is actually $900. Sean let me know that the mechanic who told me that (which it was also him as well) it was under warranty was mistaken, and he was actually fired after the incident six weeks ago about what happened with putting my car back together that he was not competent. After much back-and-forth, Sean just kept saying that it was a mistake that now the part is not covered under the warranty and pretty much that was all that he could do to assist in this problem. We had spoken on the phone numerous times in December and he never felt the need to maybe look into pricing in the six weeks of making me wait. Absolutely zero sympathy from this whole company. They are completely incompetent and now I would label them a dangerous dealership to even bring a vehicle to. I would not suggest anyone coming here when there are a million other vehicles and vehicle dealerships on Long Island.

The average 1.8 rating for this dealership should tell you all you need to know. To me it seems…read morethey do not care about customer service (or future business). This is a long review so TLDR: despite multiple calls confirming I can do a lease return, they refused to accept the vehicle. They wasted 30 minutes of my time (plus this review). Despite requesting to speak with the manager, i was told he was in a meeting and was not made available. Told there is no assistant GM and that the only person I can speak to is a Client Advisor. No one seemed to worry about customer service. Here goes... I did not lease my vehicle from this dealership as South Shore/Tasca gave me a better price. However, I did service my vehicle at this dealership as it is in a more convenient location to me (I now regret giving them any business). When it came time to return my vehicle which was off lease I called last Friday and was told I can bring the vehicle in anytime M-F between 9-4. I explained that I didn't get the vehicle from this dealership and that I am not leasing a new Kia at this time. They said I don't need an appointment. I called again today to confirm that I can drop the vehicle off and was told as long as it is by 6pm (previously 4, now 6). Once again, I explained I didn't get the Kia from this dealer and that I am not going into a new Kia. The female I spoke with said it is not an issue. I show up to the dealership today around 10:30am and the person at the front, Dylan, tells me to try coming back in a week or two as they wont take the vehicle (my lease is up, how am I holding the vehicle for another week or 2??). I inquired as to why, and he said that they don't have space in their lot (I observed what appeared to be several open spaces). I asked if the same was true if I was going to be leasing a new vehicle and he indicated they would take it back if I leased a new vehicle from them. I asked to speak to the manager and Dylan stated that the manager, Waleed, is in a meeting. He steps away to "call" Waleed - who is "in a meeting" - from his cellphone and comes back to say that they will not accept the lease return. I explained that I called twice and confirmed they would accept the vehicle (i showed him the calls on my cellphone) and that I was a customer having serviced my vehicle there in the past. I asked to speak to Waleed but Dylan just kept saying that he is in a meeting and can't speak to me - even though he just spoke to Dylan?? Dylan advised that there is no assistant GM (can that be possible?!?) and that there is no one higher that I can speak to other than Dylan. Lots to unpack here... it seems as if I was getting into a new vehicle from them I could return the vehicle and they would find room... that was the impression i was left with. This is short sighted as I can easily become a customer of this dealership, or any other Habberstad dealership, at any time. However, after this experience I will never be a customer of this or any other Habberstad dealership. Next, the vehicle is 2 years old (2 year lease), in excellent condition, a solid trim level, and has less than 13,000 miles!! Did they even consider the fact that the vehicle likely has equity in it before they refused to accept it? Last, I called twice specifically to avoid wasting a trip, yet I was still turned away. This seems like a lack of internal communications. The fact that you cannot escalate an issue above a Client Advisor gives the impression that the customer experience is not something that is considered.

I purchased a VW Passat CC from Erik the owner @ Primary Motors for roughly $12k (not cheap)…read more This was probably the worst decision of my life so far. From the start Erik assured my the car would be fully serviced and cleaned when I arrived to pick it up. 2 weeks later the oil level was low I called Erik and his response was that it wasn't his problem and to get an oil change "its only $80" he said. I queried Erik about the car service that was promised and he had no paperwork to back it up. Done by his "in-house" guy but there is no paperwork yet the car ran low oil 2 weeks after servicing after barely any driving. The car came with roughly 76'000 miles on the clock. After driving the car only 2000 miles I got an oil pressure light on the car so I brought it straight to a VW dealership and they done a diagnostics on the car. My lawyer contacted Erik by letter about all of the defects and Erik replied stating the car didn't qualify as a lemon as the problem was reported after 60 days but had not been drove 3,000 miles. Basically washed his hands of the car and offered no help or solution as a "dealer". To my surprise they told me the CAR ENGINE was going to have to be replaced due to low compression, oil pan was fully rotted, exhaust clamp was rotted and needed new, passenger side axel was damaged and needed immediate attention, drive belt needed to be replaced, air filters was absolutely disgusting, front arm control brackets had separation and movement in the brackets. Stabilizer links had to be replaced. The brake fluid on the VW report was reported as looking like "tar". To summarize where I now am with this car, I have been without a car since November 23rd 2021. It is now January 17th 2022 and I have been dropping the car to every auto tech in Queens to repair it. They all say it is too much work and nobody will do the repairs, also the 3rd party warranty Erik sold is garbage and YOU WILL end up paying for repairs on top of your existing. I cannot believe no AUTO shop in Queens is willing to do the work as there is so much damage with the car. Primary motors never serviced the car or gave it a once over before selling as I was promised they would the day I viewed the car in their office. THEY SOLD ME A CAR BEYOND REPAIR!!! I am now facing thousands of dollars of auto repairs whenever I can find a guy to do them. I have been without a car for 2 months now. I have called the garage numerous times but nobody ever picks up my cell number anymore so I am not getting any help from the "reputable car dealer I purchased my car from" and this is a clear story of how they treat their customers. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM PRIMARY MOTORS.
