PLEASE AVOID THIS DEALERSHIPS SERVICE CENTER. THEY WILL OVER CHARGE YOU FOR SPOTTY WORK!!…read more 1 year and 1/2 ago I was told my grand Jeep Cherokee needed a new battery and a new battery sensor. Additionally there were "other" mechanical issues that required a new starter as well. I trusted their recommendation and decided to agree to the work. Total bill was $1,148.00 Which was way to high according to other mechanics but that's what dealerships typically do. OVERCHARGE. Ok fine, I was pissed but I got over it becuase my car seemed to be working fine. 12 months later, my car refuses to start. I get a jump from a neighbor and it finally starts. Next day, same thing. This continues for several weeks. I called them and expected a free diagnostic of the car and for them to fix the problem. They refuse stating it been over a year and that I would have to pay for whatever the problem is... I go to my local mechanic and he stated I needed a new battery and a starter. WHAT!?!! I just bought a battery and a sensory battery from the dealership and I need a new battery and starter!?! Mind you!! I work from home so I barely even drive the car. Just had to pay 600 for a new battery/starter. DO NOT go to this place. I paid almost 1200 for what!?And my high beams are still not working either. They fixed nothing and made me pay for it.

Beware of this service center. My NY State inspection turned into a very expensive endeavor, and…read moreI'm not certain it was a necessary fix at all. My vehicle has LED Halo daytime running lights; but they insisted that the HID headlamp be replaced (actually, they told me they were replacing the daytime running light assembly, but I was billed for a HID headlight). Pretty sure they didn't install anything and just billed parts and labor. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

I didn't get too far. I leased a Kia here in 2023 and went $3,000 over mileage with 3 payments…read moreremaining. Spoke to a salesperson, and their offer on a new vehicle included the 3 remaining payments, the $3K in over mileage, and nothing off the window sticker. My thought process was that they "may" want a return customer and move numbers around with perhaps a "pull ahead" or some "mileage forgiveness", not uncommon in this business at all. Nope. Nothing. Not even movement off the sticker price. So, the one star is for those that hear from a salesman, "I want to make you happy, I want you to come back in three years", and, "it's the end of the year and we are being very aggressive on moving our cars." Just words, same words from when I was in the business 20 years ago. The one star is also for telling me that they would take my returned lease off my hands with no penalty and pay the three remaining months. Obviously, to arrive at the monthly payment they gave me, I was paying for all of it, and again, for the sticker price of the car. Next...

When I asked for a revised loan breakdown without the bogus charges, I was ignored for 3 days--then told the vehicle had a "bad transmission" and they couldn't sell it to me. That was a lie. The same exact vehicle is still listed for sale two weeks later with new pictures uploaded. It's clear they never intended to honor the original deal. Just classic bait-and-switch tactics. To make matters worse, they've still not returned my deposit. Finance manager Steve and salesperson Francisca were involved. Shady, dishonest, and a complete waste of time. If you value your money or sanity, look elsewhere.

I purchased a VW Passat CC from Erik the owner @ Primary Motors for roughly $12k (not cheap)…read more This was probably the worst decision of my life so far. From the start Erik assured my the car would be fully serviced and cleaned when I arrived to pick it up. 2 weeks later the oil level was low I called Erik and his response was that it wasn't his problem and to get an oil change "its only $80" he said. I queried Erik about the car service that was promised and he had no paperwork to back it up. Done by his "in-house" guy but there is no paperwork yet the car ran low oil 2 weeks after servicing after barely any driving. The car came with roughly 76'000 miles on the clock. After driving the car only 2000 miles I got an oil pressure light on the car so I brought it straight to a VW dealership and they done a diagnostics on the car. My lawyer contacted Erik by letter about all of the defects and Erik replied stating the car didn't qualify as a lemon as the problem was reported after 60 days but had not been drove 3,000 miles. Basically washed his hands of the car and offered no help or solution as a "dealer". To my surprise they told me the CAR ENGINE was going to have to be replaced due to low compression, oil pan was fully rotted, exhaust clamp was rotted and needed new, passenger side axel was damaged and needed immediate attention, drive belt needed to be replaced, air filters was absolutely disgusting, front arm control brackets had separation and movement in the brackets. Stabilizer links had to be replaced. The brake fluid on the VW report was reported as looking like "tar". To summarize where I now am with this car, I have been without a car since November 23rd 2021. It is now January 17th 2022 and I have been dropping the car to every auto tech in Queens to repair it. They all say it is too much work and nobody will do the repairs, also the 3rd party warranty Erik sold is garbage and YOU WILL end up paying for repairs on top of your existing. I cannot believe no AUTO shop in Queens is willing to do the work as there is so much damage with the car. Primary motors never serviced the car or gave it a once over before selling as I was promised they would the day I viewed the car in their office. THEY SOLD ME A CAR BEYOND REPAIR!!! I am now facing thousands of dollars of auto repairs whenever I can find a guy to do them. I have been without a car for 2 months now. I have called the garage numerous times but nobody ever picks up my cell number anymore so I am not getting any help from the "reputable car dealer I purchased my car from" and this is a clear story of how they treat their customers. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM PRIMARY MOTORS.
