Vegan Ecstacy ramen
Steph H.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great ramen, sushi, and more for everyone! The hubby and I'd learned about this place from a vegan acquaintance and were intrigued enough to make the trek from Long Beach to check it out. Located in an older shopping center, the interior had a clean, pleasant homey traditional Japanese look to it, but it did feel a bit cramped with divider walls. The main attraction for us was their vegan menu, of course, which turned out to be amazingly extensive (they have non-vegan stuff too). Generally, even if a restaurant offers vegan/vegetarian items it feels like a token afterthought, but not here. In addition to the ramen and sushi items we were expecting, there were a bunch we were not, like "meaty" dumplings, fried "shrimp", and "chicken" katsu curry (which I had to try). I was really wowed by this dish; the "chicken" felt like an actual breast meat filet, and the crispy coating was great. The curry was the real star, which had all the right flavors and texture that I remembered. The hubby had the Vegan Ecstasy ramen, which he really enjoyed. It had a delicious creamy broth with broccoli, corn, tofu slices, and delightfully chewy noodles. We also shared a vegan caterpillar roll; couldn't tell what they used for the "eel" (eggplant?), but since the star of caterpillar rolls is the avocado and sauce, it had the right flavor and texture. We were with my non-veg brother and nephew, who shared a salmon roll, CA roll, and spicy pork won tons, which they really liked. According to my brother the wontons were very spicy, with a lot of chili threads on top, so beware. They also gave us some complimentary vegan matcha ice cream at the end (has nuts, fyi), which we thought was a nice touch. The great food, service, and prices so wowed us that we brought my sister and her family here to celebrate some birthdays. I'd called ahead to reserve a table for our party of six, and we were sat at the large semi circle booth at the back. We ordered an assortment of veg and non-veg items and everyone loved the food. This is now our go-to for vegan ramen and Japanese food, especially if we're meeting up with non-veg people.

This little hole in the wall is located in a small strip mall & they have an extensive vegan menu. They are often busy but just remember to press the little doorbell button at your table & a server will help you out shortly. I highly recommend starting with the spicy garlic edamame. They are finger-licking good. I also recently tried their vegan jalapeño poppers & those are delicious. I can't remember the names of the vegan rolls that I tried this last time I was there but everything is always delicious. Did I mention they have vegan mochi?! Don't forget to check their yelp page before heading over to get on their waitlist in case they're busy, which they often are.

As a vegetarian, I love this place for sushi. It's not just a cucumber, avocado, or veggie roll. It feels as if I'm eating real sushi at a sushi restaurant and ordering whatever I want. They serve both real and vegan sushi here so be sure to clarify. My kids love the crispy ham and cheese My husband likes any of the spicy tuna or the vegan Cajun roll. I like anything with the eel sauce but the crispy chicken roll is good if I don't feel like spicy. The kids enjoy it too. I get the curry on the side because my kids love to snack on the crispy chicken by itself. The service is great here and it's quick too! The place is nice. The parking is good enough, haven't struggled to find parking from the 3 times I've been here. This is my new favorite place. I'm going to be a regular for sure, especially when I'm in town.

My husband and I had no idea where to eat but we wanted to try something with a good rating on Yelp. I saw that Huntington Ramen & Sushi had great ratings so we stopped by. At first I thought it didn't look appealing from the outside but when we walked in we were greeted by Thong which we later found out he was the General Manager. This place is super cute inside and the food was delicious. We loved how the setting was intimate and it even had a curtain for more privacy which made us feel like we were excluded from others and felt like we were completely alone on a date, which was extremely nice! Thong was friendly and gave excellent recommendations on food. We also had Elyse serve us with a smile and such a spectacular personality. Before we left with our full belly's, I made sure to let Thong know that we would be back and how much we enjoyed the super friendly service. I highly recommend both the Ramen & Sushi

Great food and service! Ordered the blazing dragon roll, Cajun jalapeño roll, spicy edamame, and pork dumplings. Everything was so fresh and melted in my mouth. While eating the waiter brought fried potstickers for free and mochi with ice cream for my sisters bday. Service was fast and very sweet. Definitely recommend

If you're not too much of a ramen and sushi snob and love getting great value and portions, this is your spot!! They also serve some pretty bomb vegan ramen as well! They're located in the same strip plaza as Curry Hut and Pita Hut, which are pretty popular to-go spots. Sometimes it may be difficult to find parking during peak hours but I'd say 80% of the time that I've gone, there's been a couple of spots available. When I'm craving both ramen and sushi but don't want to break the bank, I like going here to see what specials they have. I recently went in January and they had a lunch special where you could choose any bowl of ramen with a choice of select appetizers for $20. My go to ramen here is their Tonkotsu Black but their Truffle Vegan Ramen is a close contender. For the appetizer, I chose the Salmon Skin salad and wow, I didn't expect to receive a full portion! There were ample amounts of salmon skin and it was quite crunchy too. Their sushi rolls are priced competitively compared to nearby sushi spots. Best part is you get complimentary ice cream to complete your meal at the end! Service is pretty quick! They do have a button if you need their attention, so that touch is quite nice. As for the ambience, it's quite cozy. It's not really suitable for large parties as the place is pretty small.

Don't let the location fool you! Some of the best food is hiding in the most unexpected places, and Huntington Ramen is proof. Tucked into a sketchy little plaza next to a 7-Eleven is this absolute gem. I love a good hole-in-the-wall, and this one delivered. Our server, Kohei, was fantastic!! He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever hovering. I ordered the Crunchy Roll, takoyaki, and agedashi tofu, and every dish hit the spot. My friends ordered the salmon sushi and a bento, and they were just as happy with their meals. They also have an awesome lunch special: order one sushi roll at full price and get a second sushi roll or side order for half off. Such a great deal! Full disclosure: I almost clocked in for my first shift because I accidentally walked through the kitchen door instead of the restaurant entrance. It was my first visit, and the entrance wasn't very obvious. My only suggestion would be to make the front door a little clearer so future customers don't accidentally become employees. This place came highly recommended by one of my pickiest foodie friends, and now I completely understand why. Great food, great service, and great value. I'll definitely be back!

Chashu pork bowl

Solid Vegan option in Orange County - went with good friends earlier this week. We shared a bowl of edamame and they ordered vegan sushi rolls, which they enjoyed. I ordered a chashu pork bowl, which was heavy on rice and lettuce but light on pork. I was hungry so polished it off nevertheless. Service by Emma was adequate, and parking was available. Happy to return.

It's so good I forgot to take good pictures before we started eating haha! Huntington Ramen is so cozy, relaxing, and serves delicious food. Our server was so kind and attentive. Everything was hot, fresh, and tasty! Veggie croquettes are a must! I've been coming here for years with my family and it never disappoints. It's nice to get a little bit of everything and share. They have a wide variety of food to choose from. Their vegan menu is big as well! Overall, 10/10 highly recommend!

Surprisingly discovered this restaurant, food quality is so good. Nice service when they run out of salmon coller but replaced with mackerel. Nigiri is delicious, fish portion is generous. Everything was great except my baby got 3 mosquito bites. But will come back again.

Baked salmon roll (delicious)

Vibes: Trendy, cramped, cute booths and tiny tables for two. Good casual date night Crowd: Busy around dinnertime on weekends (use the Yelp waitlist ahead of time) Menu: 5/5 selection (2 pgs of rolls, lots of other options, full vegan menu) Value for price: 5/5 (better priced rolls than other restaurants, good quantities) Service: Quick, polite Parking: small strip mall, can get crowded Came to Huntington Ramen & Sushi on a Sunday evening around 6:30P. There was no wait at 5:30 when I checked, but when we checked in we waited about 30 minutes. I'd join the Yelp waitlist ahead of time because there's not a great place to wait outside. The ambiance is cute, think cozy and crowded. You have to squeeze by the tables for 2, so if it's a date you'll get people maneuvering around you. Service was quick given the crowd. My boyfriend and I shared the Baked salmon roll first- decadent, saucy, smoky. Tons of baby scallops rolling around on top and lots of crab meat inside. Lovely on a cold day. We then shared the teriyaki bento, which was surprisingly huge- it would have been a large portion for one person with a generous serving of tender chicken/rice, miso soup, edamame, and lightly dressed salad. It's also great for sharing since there are two egg rolls, two crispy wontons, and 6 small California rolls. They finished us off with a small scoop of complimentary vanilla ice cream. Highly recommend for a good, casual dinner!

Vegan caterpillar, vegan craving, vegan Niagara Falls

First time eating here after transitioning to a vegan diet and it did not disappoint! The vegan menu is so large and there's so many good options. I have no idea what these vegan substitutes are made of but everything we got was SO good! Would highly recommend the crispy rice. They even gave us complimentary vegan strawberry ice cream. Will definitely be coming back!

Crazy Diamond Sushi Roll
Catherine V.

I had the Crazy Diamond Sushi Roll and the Spicy Egg Rolls. The Crazy came with spicy tuna, which I didn't want, and they subbed more crispy chicken for me. Both the dishes were so good! And after we ate, the server brought a small portion of Matcha nice cream sur la maison! I have been here a few times but never wrote a review before. The food is always the same high quality. Sorry the photos are not the entire dish. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture.

It was slightly difficult moderating my Rent-A-Girlfriend discord server at the same time since there was no free provided wifi, but i digress. The atmosphere was beautiful.. It brought me back to my recent trip to japan. So kakkoii desu!! UwU I ended up getting two sushi rolls and the creamy udon with chicken (yes it was all for myself) And they did not disappoint!! OwO The second i took a bite of my food i was transported back to my life in japan. Such happiness. Such bliss. Such reminiscence.. The feeling of serenity and peace. I felt these feelings deep inside of me.. A longing feeling, like something was missing inside of me this whole entire time. A feeling of homesickness. The freshness of the sushi.. the delicacy of the udon noodles.. so oishii desu if you will. I think it might've filled the ever gaping hole in my heart.. or at least a little bit. I cannot thank Kopan Sushi and Ramen 141 E Commonwealth Ave, Fullerton CA 92831 enough. You cured my homesickness for japan. I never thought anyone or anything would be able to do that. I do still miss japan from time to time.. But with each visit to Kopan Sushi and Ramen, it makes the ache just a little less painful.. and i think thats what really makes it worth it in the end..

I walk into a cozy, inviting hole-in-the-wall joint and ask the lady manning the front the one question I could muster. "Where am I?". She answered back with another question. "What's the one thing that all people need. Money? Fame? Glory? NO. The one thing people need, is a good meal.... welcome to Kopan Sushi." Kopan sushi.... I've heard that name before....Long ago, the four elemental beings, earth, water, fire, and wind, gathered together to try to rid the earth of the great darkness, a monster so powerful that the earth was at risk of being swallowed whole. Using all of their energy, the 4 elemental beings combined into one, all powerful sushi restaurant called 141 E Commonwealth Ave Kopan Sushi and Ramen. Using the power of amazing hospitality, amazing ambience, and service with a smile (: , the great darkness was eliminated from this earth. With this rich history in mind, I rushed to the back to greet master Oogway, the restaurant's keeper, to witness his presence. I walked past the giant panda, and his father, Mr.ping to greet the wise master Oogway. Now in his presence I asked, "Oh master Oogway, what is the one piece of advice you would give people who want to become the the dragon warrior?". Master Oogway stared longingly into my heart and said, "One must always take the time to eat good food. Whether that mean taking time after your day to add some seasoning or sauce to a meal. It really adds that extra bit of spice to your life, y'know." I looked at him one last time, and realized that it was finally time to go. I kissed Master Oogway goodbye, hugged Po the panda and bid my farewell. Moral of the story, the Salmon Tempura roll is really good, and if your gonna do the buy one roll get one 50% off, I would honestly just get two of the Salmon Tempura rolls. It's not that filling though, so I would also advice ordering a bowl of ramen if your eating for two.

A solid go-to spot for flavorful ramen and delicious sides!…read more This is easily one of our favorite ramen spots in the area, and for good reason! We've tried several of their ramen bowls, and each one has been packed with rich, savory flavors. Whether you're craving something warm and comforting or just need a good bowl of soup to hit the spot, this place consistently delivers! As much as we enjoy the ramen, we absolutely cannot visit without ordering the gyoza and fried rice! Both are must-haves for us. The gyoza is delicious, and the fried rice is full of flavor. They're the perfect additions to an already satisfying meal. What really stood out during our most recent visit, though, was the service. A huge shoutout to Alexandria! She was AMAZING! We stopped by on a busy afternoon, and she was the only waitress taking care of the dining room. Despite juggling multiple tables, she remained incredibly sweet, attentive, and welcoming. She never seemed overwhelmed and made sure we were taken care of throughout our meal. That kind of service definitely deserves recognition! Dining area is small but clean. We will be back for sure!

I was so disappointed since I was super excited to even see it on the menu as I hadn't had it since being in the bay area for school. Aside from that, the ramen is great and comes out really fast, and the servers are all super on top of it every time i've come in.
