Too much degraded service then i first came here. I dont know why but when a business grows they become better but these guys service is gone poor. Food quality is deteorated n seating is too small . I guess they have better take out service . Never ever i have started on a negative note but this was impulsive. Anyhow the reality is still thr same . When we entered their was no greeting or welcome smile. Infact the ladies had no clue about what to ask or say. After asking to them , we found out that there is no table available so we oulf need to wait. No worries! Why not after all we will get good food. To my disappointment, we got the table in next halaf an hr n we were the first in line. (Less tables to accommodate people) i dont knoe if thats how they are on other weekdays as well but sunday evening was aweful. They need to learn how to take order n how to plce food in the plate. No serving garnish or presentation skill at all. Mess when serving doesn't please me. Few good things here. U can get alcohol with dosa atleast i am sure they serve beer. Oh lovely chicken n prawn dosa . I tried chicken which was nice . I mean only if the chicken was shredded n cooked in authentice vibdaloo sauce , it would be better. I saw the servers serving wrong food order n instructing the customers like a school teacher instead of asking them the prefrence. Sambar is not complimentary. For me mayuri dosa place is good. read more

My husband is a big fan of dosa so we stopped by this place while we were in Surrey. Frankly speaking, the dosa we ordered was average but the masala lamb curry was great. The dosa was crispy and flavorful but there's just something less. Perhaps it's the cheese - we get a full load of mozzarella cheese in the cheese dosa at other place but not here. Service was great but we were the only customer in the restaurant and there was just one guy who was the cashier and waiter at the same time. read more

We enjoyed our South Indian breakfast here. Food was great, service was fast and delicious fresh food. We ordered onion rava masala dosa platter, comes with vada and idli too! Warm and yum! Also ordered masala dosa, idli, gunpowder masala dosa, lassi and filter coffee! Everything tasted very good and warm, just the thing we needed to kick off our day! No pictures this time as we were very hungry! read more

I often find myself eating at Krishnas Dosa Grill with my Mum when we feel like going for some authentic food served up tasty and timely. Although I do commend Krishnas on their service, generally speaking, and fast food-rollouts most of the time, I can't help but only find myself able to give them a 3*. When sitting in a booth, as we often do, the heat from the western sun permeates the all-glass wall next to your seat making for an uncomfortably warm and radiated environment. On a hot day, avoid the booths or window seats, if you don't like and/or can't take the summer heat. On a cooler day? This isn't an issue. As for the food, you really can't go wrong with their Dosa Platter, that gives you a standard dosa, idly, vada, and some sauces to go with, all for around 12$. It's not that the food doesn't taste good; far from it. It's always a decent bite and the flavours are one point, whether you order it mild, medium, or spicy hot. The concern comes in with that recently raced up "speed". Once or twice when we've gone in, the food has come out quicker than we've had a chance to settle in, with some portions of food being cut up or previously "handled", with the reason being that "someone cancelled an order so it was being reinstated for our meal". Read: "This isn't fresh, it's being reconstituted for you". When my Mum has spoken up the rare time this happens about the issue, she's been told that certain items are "not fresh, just being microwaved anyways", as though this should dispel any concerns about the quality or origin of the food... All considered, the staff are friendly, the food is quick to the table, and tastes pretty okay. But any place that re-serves food or cuts cost by placing the business loss on the unsuspecting customer isn't worthy of a higher rating in my book. I would have rated a 4*, as I do often find myself going back for a well-priced and satisfying meal, but I do go in with the expectation and preparation for those occasions where I'm re-served someone else's cancelled order. read more

A "small hole in the wall" kinda place but the food is really good and fresh! The place looks dingy and small but serves up great food for good prices! We got great service and the staff was very attentive! read more

This is my go to place for dosa and Bryiani. Food is always cooked fresh and delicious. They are also very friendly. Highly recommend.

Good location but the and service was even better. My rava Mysore masala was perfect delicious and spicy. I most certainly will go back again and try the other non veg dosas read more

Great cafe for authentic south indian food. Tried idli sambhar. Three fresh and hot idlis were served with 2 chutney which were which were both flavorful. Sambhar was perfect with right consistency. Filter coffee was reasonable. I prefer less milk, so would ask for modification, next time. read more

Regarding the check-in offer: The server said they couldn't honour our check-in (yelp advertised a free dosa and vada plate if you check in using your phone) because it was a long weekend. This didn't make sense to me as there were no restrictions stated on the check-in offer. It just seemed like they didn't want to honour it, which is unfortunate. Our table ordered the lamb palak dosa and the gunpowder masala dosa. The food was generally good, but the potato in the dosa was a bit overcooked - more like mashed potatoes almost. The tomato chutney was also lacking flavour. I found the spices milder than what I am used to at other dosa places. Overall, I would say our experience was average; not great, but not terrible either. read more

My friend and I went too eat dosa on the weekend we stopped by this place it looked decent so we decided to give it a try. when we stepped in the restaurant it was completely empty there. A person came to us to have the order while eating something in his mouth that looked like a pan and the red color thing aka pan was coming out of his mouth while he was trying to speak so anyways we place the order and while we were waiting for our food the same person was still chewing on the red thing aka pan and came too us in a very rude way and start to ask very personal questions such as where we are working and were we are living we feel so uncomfortable and we left the restaurant without having launch. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT!!!!! read more

The best dosa in delta. Crispy, buttery, great family run staff and good prices. Love sambal soup and coconut chutney on the side. Fluffy masala filling. Clean bathroom read more

I have no idea why supersulkan would only give one star this is a very good place with delicious Dosa. They serve it with delicious sauces and Lentil soup and a generous amount of Lamb filling. I have been here half a dozen times in the last year and a half and I always have the same server who is very polite and takes the order quickly and the food comes quickly. It isn't very expensive about $10.00 for a full meal. Anyways I recommend you give it a try. read more

If you haven't had a dosa from here, I highly recommend you get in your car and drive your dosa-less tummy down here, NOW. It's a shame we live so far away from this place, but if they would open up a branch in Vancouver, I'd be so happy. The good news is, I hear they are getting on that! The food is so great. The flavours are spot on. As good as butter chicken, masala [insert meat] and all the other Northern Indian food is (which can be found in abundance in Vancouver), there's something about the rawness of South Indian food that really gets my tastebuds dancing. The spices are just tangier, spicier, bigger, bolder and more. Don't need to put my finger on it, so long as I can put my tongue to it. This place gets it right. The boys are also so friendly and sincere. There's nothing they won't tell you about their food. Personally, I love the Lamb Vindaloo dosa. It's what I always get - the handful of times we actually drove out here. The Vada here is also delicious. It's just not a meal without it. Don't be fooled by its humble decor. This place is certainly not to be judged by its cover. And there you have it. South Indian food at its best. read more

Had a fantastic Dosa. Light fluffy batter and tasty fillings. The food was hot and quick to arrive. The accompanying soup and chutney was very good. We will be back. read more

My girlfriend and I shared a chicken vindaloo and a lamb curry. The food was a robust explosion of herbs and spices. At first glance the food portion didn't seem like much however after two small round disks of unleavened bread I was super full. Mother's Day and friends called to go out for a late lunch and recommended that we meet at Krishna's Dosa Grill. It is a small restaurant and we waited over 30 minutes for a table. It was well worth the wait as the food was wonderful. I ordered the lamb masala dosa. The dosa was crispy and light while the lamb masala was flavorful. I will definitely be back for more! read more

Delicious! My favourite spot for South Indian food. Service is also really good. Must try!

I would like to share my experiences with you. It is my personal opinion. My wife and I are frequent to this restaurant on weekends because there are good high quality of most different foods on the menu at the restaurant. The waiter (Murugan) is very good friendly, humble and simple person. We tried out other Tamil restaurants in Vancouver and Surrey but they have decent tastes and average quality. Pro- Good High Quality for foods on the menu Con- Poor Environment such as old TV systems, tables, chairs and wall. Lastly I hope the poor environment will be improved one day as soon as they get enough profit for the renovation. However the foods on the menu are amazing and delicious. I would like to recommend you highly to try out this restaurant. read more

Not recommended when you want to experience the true south indian food. It has been customized to the Canadian palate . My review is too taste oriented because i respect food for its taste and not presentation and creativity. Dosa batter is not fermented and not enough salt in it. The Gobi 65 we ordered was too oily and crunch of cauliflower was missing. Sambar is made of moong dhal which is burnt and its too sour for a tiffin sambhar. I would say its more of a Puli Kuzhambu rather than to be termed as sambhar. A humble request to the restaurant owners : Imagine what will happen if you are running the place with same taste and quality in your hometown in india. If you want the south indian community to visit your place, please provide the food what they have been accustomed to. read more

We always try Dosas here and it's always good. But on 20th March on my Bday I was craving some real South Indian food . So we ordered chic 65, chettinad chic curry and Biryani. The food was bad, stale, reheated and we had food poisoning When we came back home. The place is really unhygienic , washrooms are filthy dirty . They had a newly hired girl as a server who was touching her nose and not washing hands. We spent $50 gave no tips . Worst food I ever had in last few years. What a shame. read more

if there is a zero star i would give it. We were a group of 7 including 2 kids all tired from a day trip to Whistler. Gobi 65 was under cooked, Gobi manchurian was so soggy and full of ketchup, there was no salt in the dosas or vada but excess salt on the sambhar. Chutney is full of.......the waitress completely goofed up our orders and this made the chef very nervous and he took it out on the owner.. poor lady she needs more management skills! the cutlery never came so did the napkins on top it when we asked for it the waitress told us that she is busy enough to attend to our needs! stay away from this place .... a very bad experience read more

By far the best dosa place I have been to in my life. It seems to be a family run business but each and every time we come here, we leave with pure satisfaction. The food tastes authentic and so fresh. The service is great! Highly recommend the Jaipuri Paneer Masala Dosa. read more

Wow this place is so amazing! We tried it on a whim when we were starving at 10 pm and I am so grateful that we did. The service was a little slow as there was only one waiter but the waiter was so sweet and very knowledgable of the food. I agree with Vinu C. Awsome food but I am not a big fan of the interior the light in the bathroom was not working. However I am giving 5 stars to the food the guy tried his best to provide best service which was kind of cute! All the dosas were good and the coconut chutney was amazing! Must try, I hope they improve their interior. read more

Good place to have dosa for sure! I was here with couple other friends and everyone enjoyed our lunch!

Honestly would not even give it 1 star, this place is so dirty and not welcoming at all. The server was just plain rude. Even the manager/owner at the front was worst to deal with. They have the dirtiest looking glasses I have ever seen!!! I don't even want to know how the plates looked like because we had to leave this place and only paid for the coke that they gave us in a can! but not even complaining about that since it was still better than their glasses. Manager/owner did not seem to give a S**T that we were leaving. Would not come back here, I like the dosa place that's in front plaza. read more

Great little place for some authentic tasting dosa, service is warm however ambience needs some work. Highly recommended for taste

The dosa platter is great, specially with the onion rava masala dosa. The hosts are also very friendly!

Whenever I crave a dosa this the place to go. I have tried just about every dosa place in town and I must say that this is the best dosa place in town. The food is always fresh flavourful and authentic. The service is friendly and quick. The prices may be a little higher than some of the other restaurants but the high-quality and the fresh taste of the food is definitely well worth it. We went to try this place because I really love dosas, and the reviews on Yelp were great. We were not disappointed. We had Mysore Masala dosa & some veggie pakora. Both were good. The service was good It took a while for the dosa to come, not in a 'poor service' type of way, but in a 'your food is being freshly made-to-order' way. I really enjoyed my meal here and will definitely be back in the near future. At my visit there were no take-out menus, but I took some menu photos with my phone and anticipate I will be a regular eat-in & take-out customer from this point forward. Dee-lish!! read more
