And the broth was delicious. Not chicken bouillon broth as I expected. Then the wontons... wow! I've never had a wonton this high quality before. And there were so many veggies with the chicken. Fresh, firm broccoli, bell peppers, scallions, and I believe cayenne peppers. I accidentally bit into one of the peppers and my mouth was immediately on fire!! The sauce was a deep dark red and full of flavor. The perfect blend of spicy and sweet. More on the spicy and less on the sweet. Every bite was delicious. I couldn't eat it all because there was too much food. I asked the waitress for a to-go container. I definitely wasn't going to leave these left overs behind! When she brought me my styrofoam container I told her that this was the absolute best General Tso's I've ever had.
