I don't like to leave negative reviews but I was highly disappointed with the product I received for the cost. The owners were friendly but didn't deliver what I asked and I received what looked like a $15 wrap for over $40. I asked for 2 colors of a flower, and when I arrived I had a wrap with 3-4 of the same color and a few green fluff items. Mostly fluff items. For $40. When I brought up that it was completely wrong, they took it to the back to "fix" and came back with 2-3 more flowers, same color, one of them wilting. I would suggest another flower shop. read more

Not only does Humphreys offer floral arrangements but, also potted plants. I can to them for some ideas on how to add greenery to my workspace. They talked with me about the different plant to help me figure out what would be a good fit. I was very pleased with me first visit and return soon to pick up my final selections. I selected this florist to send a dish garden to a hospitalized colleague. They do not offer as many arrangements as other shops in the area may, but they also aren't Teleflora either. Additionally, their prices are comparable. I utilized their website to order our gift, and found it very confusing in two areas: 1. Once ready to check out, you're given the option to create an account, log in to an existing, or simply use the instant checkout. I opted for instant. From there, you enter an email address, and first and last names. Underneath, an area is provided for an address labeled "My Address". However, all of these fields are actually delivery information fields, which is not revealed until later in the process. 2. The other annoyance is selecting the occasion type (for a card, I presume). I selected "Get Well", and assumed I would be given the opportunity to write a message later in the process. No. Not even an option for a valediction. I had completed the checkout process before realizing this, so I immediately called the shop. I spoke with a very pleasant woman (I am sad I did not ask for her name), and she stated she would be glad to add a message to the card. She also indicated this isn't the first time the site has been confusing and/or isn't working properly. It was later reported the dish garden arrived, and it was beautiful. Additionally, the recipient knew who had sent the arrangement, so I assume the card was correct also. If they would just get that site fixed.... read more

I was very very very disappointed in my wedding bouquet with this company!The roses were not the correct color and most of the flowers were not fresh and some looked wilted. I was informed they were very busy with weddings that day I was to pick my flowers up and it was noticeable. They did not spend the time on my bouquet it looked as though it was thrown together. I believe they focused on the weddings they had that weekend and threw my bouquet together in a hurry. I paid $135 for a cascading bouquet of flowers, provided a printed picture and the flowers and the work itself did not reflect the price. I also wanted a handle for my cascading bouquet which was not added and the actual stem was awkward to hold. This is the bouquet I used for one of the most important days of my life and it was a true disappointment. Also they were so busy that day I was to pick up my flowers. They offered free delivery but then were unable to deliver them before 11am and acted as though I was the inconvenience. I do not and will not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Final straw for Humphreys, while they may have beautiful arrangements, do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs. Strike #1- For my mother's birthday both my sister and I accidentally picked out the same arrangement. The day before delivery my sister called to see if one arrangement could be changed to something price comparable. Day of, 2 identical arrangements were delivered to my mother. You would think that an employee would catch that the same person, at the same address, was receiving the same flowers, on the same day and make a few changes themself (this is assuming Humphreys had good customer service, which is clearly not the case). But, the changes could not ever be made even after a call was made! Strike #2- For Mother's Day, we then decided to give them another chance and send another arrangement through Humphreys. Day of, not only did I not receive a delivery email from the store like I have in the past, but my mother also never received a call, voicemail, or text. INSTEAD our $100 delivery was left out in the rain with ZERO notice until my mother finally looked out and saw them on her doorstep. Needless to say, I am EXTREMELY disappointed. I called first thing in the morning and my flowers were delivered by lunch time. The person who took my order was thorough, reviewing my order details with me at the end of our conversation. I chose an arrangement I saw on their website, but asked for some modifications. The arrangement turned out exactly as I had hoped and the recipient said it was "gorgeous". I came in to check out the shop and use a flower coupon for roses. The flowers that the coupon is good for weren't in. The coupon does not specify a specific rose. The staff was short and rude and wouldn't let me pay the difference. I don't recommend doing business with this shop. They never remembered my previous business or the stipulations I made with the manager, even though I was there every single week. I called up and ordered a floral arrangement for my sister's funeral in Ooltewah, TN. However, it was never delivered! I live on the west coast, but when I found the website it looked great. I spoke to Helen there who helped me pick out an arrangement. She was very helpful and nice. The problem came on Saturday when they were trying to deliver and couldn't find the address (they spelled the street incorrectly). They called my cell phone and when I returned the call on the emergency line I spoke to a real person who said he would relay the correct address to the driver. Apparently, this never happened and even though I called back 3 times over the next day and half, this "emergency" line was not answered or any calls returned. On Monday they called my cell phone again to say they would deliver it today, but I told them they missed the funeral. I don't know how beautiful the flowers would have been because no one ever saw them. I felt like they were very unprofessional to drop the ball and offer no adequate explanation or compensation. read more

Unfortunately I can not write a positive comment about the business. I'm not one to write posts when I have a negative experience but just choose not to use the service again. I'm not sure where the communication got lost or the simple fact that there was never communication at all. My grandmother passed away and because of the Jewish culture we were unable to make the short notice funeral. Wanting to still send flowers, we ordered the "Most Memorable Tribute" to be delivered to the funeral home the next day. The flowers were ordered online and I never spoke with a live person. I wanted to know what the bouquet looked like and had asked family members to let me know. Sadly I was told that the flowers were not at the funeral or at the grave site. Another family member called the funeral home and they let us know nothing was ever delivered. I called the florist the next day and was informed they were having issues with the online ordering system and the flowers were never delivered or prepared. She let me know we would be refunded. After a week of no refund I called the florist and I was told I would need to speak with the accountant. The gentleman let me know that he wasn't aware of the online issue but that I in fact was never refunded. He was even generous enough to offer complimentary flowers sent and to get the refund submitted. I let him know we went ahead and sent another arrangement to my father in Texas and would appreciate the refund. He took my e-mail address and told me he would send a confirmation e-mail showing the refund. After several hours of not receiving the refund confirmation e-mail I called back and the lady that answered the phone said he got an undeliverable so I gave her my e-mail again and then provided her with another e-mail just in case. Again after several hours of no response I called and asked for the accountant's e-mail so I could send him an e-mail that he could reply to. After the next day not receiving a response to my e-mail or a phone call, I called again and was told he was out of the office but that they'd have him call me. Again, I never received any kind of communication so I called the next day. I was once again told he was out of the office and I asked to be called that day just to know the refund had been submitted. Again I received no sort of communication. I eventually had to give up and submit a dispute with my bank which can take up to 2 months to get resolved. I'm extremely disappointed that I had to take action with my bank to get the problem resolved. The flowers that were ordered were $88 dollars and in the end have created such a headache during a time that was supposed to be focused on my grandmothers life. read more

She heard me, proposed great ideas, offered alternative solutions based on my budget and executed PERFECTLY. We did a partial brooch boquet that was gorgeous. My experience with Humphrey's Flowers was not the best. My sister and I used them for a wedding and the boutonnieres were missing pins, the flowers looked wilted and not properly taken cared of, the floral arrangements in the dining room were very small and not what was stated in the quote, and the bridal bouquet was not much larger than the bridesmaids. Lastly, the flowers were overpriced for being wilted and not fresh. Therefore, I do not suggest anyone use this company for a wedding. Also, the staff were not flexible to our needs and appeared uptight and arrogant. read more

We ordered flowers for my daughter's wedding from Humphrey's. We were convinced they would do exactly what we wanted. BIG mistake. We met twice, took lots of pictures to them, and talked extensively. We requested all creamy white flowers, no roses and no colors, especially no pink. When her bouquet arrived to the hotel for pictures, it consisted of 10 white roses with pink centers and some accent green flowers with a bit of purple. I thought she was going to cry. The same at the reception. Just awful! The boutonnières did not have the burlap we ordered and the mother's wrist corsages were the size of quarters. We spent a lot of money and expected way more than we received. I contacted the owner, a Rob, and our designer, Kaitlin, first thing on Monday, and I got a reply that they would get back to me.
