Greek RICE BOWL Gyro RICE BOWL Hummus To Go
    Dennis H.

My lady and I were in the mood for anything Mediterranean for dinner, and have passed Hummus House countless times but never tried it. After reading other great reviews and drooling over the photos, the decision was made! Despite the traffic in the area, the parking lot was very easy to get in and out of. We spotted people leaving with big bags of takeout and knew we made the right choice. The inside of the restaurant was spotless and quite cozy. In the future I'll try to eat there, but tonight was to go! The young lady that helped us was VERY patient with our first-timer questions. The bowls she made us were so full of food and quite heavier than I expected. We finished the order with a jumbo hummus, trying both Guacamole and Roasted Garlic. As you can see from the photo: it is a ton of food. With tip it was close to $40 but it provided us a fulfilling dinner AND delicious leftovers for lunch. The pita bread they provided was so warm and beautiful salty. 5 stars for the freshness, quality ingredients, ability to customize, and the service from the young women running the place. Will definitely return for my "Greek Fix"

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I really wish Yelp could add a .5 rating. My actual rating for this place is a 3.5. The employees are friendly and the place is clean. I got a gyro rice bowl and my husband got a Buffalo chicken rice bowl. The portions for meat were rather cheap I felt. I think they could of definitely put more meat. We were both left with a whole bunch of rice at the end of our meal. The topping options or not bad but I wish they had more options that matched the mediterranean theme. All in all I'm not sure if I would return. Noting was bad by any means, it was all just mediocre. You know?

Once I gave it a try about a year or so ago, ii has been my go to for healthy and Mediterranean food. You can build your own pita, salad bowl or rice bowl. They have some suggestions if you don't want to create your own and they are pretty tasty. I always get the Chicken Bowl but I have tried the Southwest rice bowl and their Chicken Pita and both were delicious! The chicken is super tasty and marinated in a delightful mix of spices that makes the bowl yummy and tasty. The place is clean, gets a lot of traffic and to go orders. The staff is nice, attentive and their are more than happy to answer any questions.

This place was great if you are looking for something healthy, and fast. Parked up in the designated spots outside the restaurant. It was fairly quiet on a Friday evening but still decided to try the express order machines.. Plenty of seating inside the restaurant, and service was very fast. Took our food to go, but waited at a table until a member of staff called my name and brought the food over to us! Overall it was a good experience, with most of the bowls around $13.99, I'd say you get a decent amount of food for that.

    So gooey!

We ordered Hummus House via Uber Eats. They had bogo fries and chocolate chip cookie dew that caught my eye. I got a gyro salad and my husband got falafel salad. The gyro meat seemed a bit generic like they probably didn't cook it there themselves but the flavor was still good. The falafel was yummy too. The salad topping choices were great and turned out yummy. I got chickpeas, feta, kalamata olives, cucumber, and tomato. The fry "scoops" were great and came with tzatiki to dip. The chocolate chip cookie totally stole the show at the end. So gooey crisp on the edges. So much chocolate! It was around $12 for a salad with meat which is a tad expensive. I'd definitely order from here against

I created this myself. It's basically the Philly cheesesteak rice bowl but with chicken and no cheese

This place is absolutely wonderful. I've been coming here for years now and it's a staple in my weekly lunches. The service here is awesome and every is very friendly. I think I've tried most everything here and it's all good. The salads and bowls are HUGE and the ingredients are always fresh and delicious. You can create your own of everything on the menu which is also nice.

They have only four carb bases and four veggie bases to choose from so it's really hard to be indecisive about what you want. There are pre selected menu options or you can just make your own salad as I chose today. My mix; brown rice, spinach, cucumbers, carrots, pickled onion, and purple cabbage with blacked chicken, thai and jalapeño dressing with wonton crisps. You can also see my drink they have what's basically "Aguas Frescas" options. I got the pomegranate lemon mixed with rishi black tea. But if you don't like tart and sour like me they had two other options on the sweeter side. Perks: Drinks are self serve, you can sample the dressings, and there's no cheat menu options that make you feel guilty for trying to be healthy. Con: The only con is that like any salad place it isn't a load of chicken but it is a still a good amount of protein. If you're looking for cheap protein stick to Chipotle.

5 Stars for a healthy brunch (that's hard to find in this city at the moment)!…read more We stopped by and ordered the vegan breakfast sandwich. It featured tofu (the menu says almond crusted, but it wasn't), house made lentil sausage, buttermilk ranch dressed kale, spicy aioli, on a brioche bun. It was SO good and I would absolutely order it again. 10/10 vegetarian option. We also got the herbed chicken salad panini and, again, super impressed! It's on toasted sourdough and came with our choice of side (oven baked sweet potatoes). The chicken salad itself was full of herbs and stood out! The sweet potatoes were also spiced and were a treat, not an afterthought. I loved the aioli dip that came with them and found myself dipping everything in it! I also got a matcha and an iced cortado. The matcha was fab- with a seasonal blueberry syrup. The coffee was actually a bit of a disappointment. It tasted burnt and we didn't love it. Quick shoutout to Matt at the counter who was a GEM when we were making our brunch picks. A friendly staff member can really elevate an experience!! Finally, they carry really good natural wines. This is a fast casual establishment where you order at the counter and they deliver your food to your table. We ordered drip coffee, Fig latte frittata and burrito in the bowl. The burrito in the bowl could've used more flavor and the bacon wasn't as crispy as I'd prefer, but the potatoes on the side were pretty good. The Frittata looked and tasted amazing. The sauce was on point! The latte was really smooth and felt like a hug. They have a good amount of outdoor seating and it's shaded which works perfect for those hot Florida days. Will definitely be back and see what other seasonal offerings they might have in the future!

We were in Winter Park for the afternoon and looking for a good, affordable lunch. I'd heard about…read moreBricks & Bowls before (as well as the Ghost Kitchen concept), so we decided to give it a try. I was immediately drawn to the Ghost Pepper Chicken sandwich. I noticed they offered a Boxed Lunch combo that included a half-brick focaccia sandwich, a choice of side, chips, and a cookie. Under the Soups & Sides section of the menu, I saw soups, salads, fruit, chips, and bread listed, so I asked if I could get the Kale Caesar Salad as my side. I was told it wasn't considered a side. That struck me as a little odd since it was listed under "Soups & Sides," but I didn't press the issue and instead ordered the sandwich and salad separately. I do wish there had been a sandwich-and-salad combo option, especially since it's Florida and 100 degrees outside--hot soup wasn't exactly calling my name that day! The Ghost Pepper Chicken sandwich was a bit dry, and I didn't notice much Swiss cheese or enough ghost pepper bang sauce to add much heat or moisture. On the plus side, the focaccia bread was fantastic, and the sandwich was piled high with sliced chicken. Even the half-brick size was plenty filling. The Kale Caesar Salad was much smaller than expected and, ironically, seemed like it would have fit perfectly as a combo side. It also contained more romaine than kale, with just a sprinkling of baby kale on top. The Caesar dressing, however, was excellent--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. At $6 for a small bowl, I was hoping for a little more substance. I also treated myself to the Belgian Chocolate Salted Caramel Cookie that would have come with the Boxed Lunch combo, and it was outstanding. Soft, gooey, and packed with flavor. Bricks & Bowls has a pleasant outdoor seating area in a courtyard setting, with tables shaded by large umbrellas. Just keep in mind that there is no indoor seating, and even with the shade, it can be pretty warm during a Florida summer. Overall, it was a decent first experience with some highlights and a few disappointments. The food had some strong points, particularly the focaccia bread, dressing, and cookie, but at around $20 for a quick-service lunch, I left feeling that the value didn't quite match the price.

The focaccia bread was great and we really loved the peppercorn caeser dressing that came with the salad. My sandwich did not have tomato listed, but did come with tomato on it which was a concern because I'm allergic, but I was able to pull it off. Could have been more of an issue for a different patron, though! The guys behind the counter were very efficient and friendly, but didn't know what was in one of the sauces, which was again a concern for me with a tomato allergy. Overall, the food was super good and we loved the outdoor space, but we may not return!
