A coworker and I stopped in here for lunch on the third flood of the mall. The menu is relatively simple with salads, bowls, and sandwiches with ingredients like falafel or lamb kafta. I was so excited to try it as it looks so intriguing and clean, but in reality, the worker forces, his kids to work there and the food is disgusting.. he got very angry at the employee for doing something wrong, even though it was clear that she was very young and around the age of nine years old I felt very uncomfortable being around these employees and the food was not the best. I like this place for the hummus falafel salad and sometimes for the mango milk tea which I know it's powered but still like it. I give the place four stars because sometimes they are out of items and I can't get what I want at that moment. Big fan of mediterranean food and this is a decent place. Great flavours and quantity is huge. It is in the newport mall in the food court. I love coming here for spicy chicken platter. Its a huge plate, with rice, hummus, cucumber tomato salad and spicy chicken on the top. This platter comes with one pita bread also. It is always enought for me and my husband's lunch/dinner. Sometimes they give you free falafels to taste. Since this is in the mall, it is sometimes crowded specailly on weekends. read more

I came here regularly pre-Covid and was looking forward to coming back now that we are back in the office. However I cannot get over that they do not consistently wear masks. I don't understand why, but they are the only food place in the food court with employees handling food not wearing masks. I had to ask the guy to put a mask on when he was making my sandwich. It's easy to sleep on this place but don't. This is some of the best hummus and pita I've ever had - and all the salads are served with zhug, the wonderful green hot sauce of the Middle East. The pitas are fluffy and perfect. Also many dishes are served with a tahini sauce that's absolutely perfect as well. In short - this place is WAY BETTER than anything in a mall food court should be. Great new addition to the Newport Mall food court. I had a chicken shwarma, and it was very good, full of chicken. Their tahini sauce is good. My husband had a lamb shawafel - lamb and falafel on a pita. He loved it. He also loved their bubble tea. All in all this is a good place to stop when you don't want the usual mall stuff. read more

This places quality seems to have improved. The food is good, especially the falafel. They have trial pieces on display as well. The bubble teas are great and they seem to have a competitive edge in the Newport mall as not too many vendors have bubble tea. Mango and Taro are the usual suspects. read more

Surprising place to find a bubble tea - the cleaning of the cup and preparation are a tad on the slower side, but guessing they don't make a ton of these normally. It's actually not too bad, though - the same taro powder as used elsewhere in the states, and not too much sugar. It was $10 and was really a huge portion, so much so that I had quite a bit leftover to take home. The Chicken Shawarma was served with basmati rice, Israeli salad, and came topped with tahini sauce. The flavors were phenomenal - everything went together great and it was seasoned to perfection. It also came with zhug sauce on the side, and I ended up dumping the whole portion of it onto the meal because it tasted so good. Newport mall food court is where I frequent for lunch options. They do give out a substantial size for $10, be it chicken over rice or with pita. The food is tasty but isn't that high quality. The flavors were perfect and it came with a warm pita which I very much enjoyed. They also have really good falafel balls if you were interested in that. They were great about letting me sample before make me a decision and even have the falafel balls out to try for those passing by. Food court mall seating is available.
