BUT, when we started with Stewart Pest Solutions we quickly realized they were the absolute best & we will never go back. The first inspection included a very thorough check of our property & subsequent equally complete visits 3 (or 4) times a year. They are professional, knowledgeable keeping safety of chemicals as a major concern. I know I can call them as problem occur & that includes removal of unwanted critters. Ash confirmed that there was minimal bat droppings, no active bats and therefore did not need either service. He actually went on the roof to assess and found no entry points. He left without any business due to his honesty which was very much appreciated after hearing various stories from other larger companies with thousand of dollar quotes. We are fully trusting Ash and will only call him next time we need wildlife assistance. Bigger companies are not always better and Bat and Wildlife Solutions is for sure the way to go!!

1 Star - Only for arriving on time, otherwise zero…read more If you don't want to read the long review: Extremely unprofessional, overpriced, failed to unclog the drain, and tried to upsell unnecessary major sewer replacement work with another company. I moved into a 1960s-70s home and soon had a basement main drain clog. I chose Allen's Plumbing based on their high ratings. They arrived on time but immediately began criticizing my real estate agent and home inspector, boasting about decades of experience. He spent less than 30 minutes with a snake, claimed it could not go past 50 ft, and pulled out only a small amount of debris and fine roots--about the size of a fist--yet dramatically acted as if my sewer was severely damaged. On-site, he pressured me to call my agent, rudely criticized them over the phone, and claimed I had only two options: dig up the basement or the yard, costing about $5,000. He insisted the pipe was broken and needed replacing, and charged $265 for the day's "work." He then called in another company with a camera (Kowski's Sewer Service), quoting another $250. This second company was equally unprofessional, failed to locate the blockage, and suggested I check with insurance about replacement. They also damaged my drain plug and left a filthy mess. The next day, through my teacher's contact, I hired another plumber--professional, clean, and determined. He used a snake to go 100 ft, removed a long arm's-length mass of debris, and found the real culprit: a clump of wet wipes. Problem solved without any pipe replacement. Clearly, my pipe was not broken. Allen's Plumbing exploits customers' lack of technical knowledge to push unnecessary major repairs. This is unprofessional and shameful. Businesses like this will not last long. I will continue to post reviews and file complaints on other platforms to warn others and prevent more people from being deceived and losing their money.

Tom fixed the sewer backup as well as the sewer line and worked with my insurance company. He was on time, straight forward, wrote up the quote for the sewer line repair and all it involved. He ended up saving me thousands of dollars as the work was less involved than he first quoted. I would definitely hire him again.

I noped my way back down the ladder, did some Google-fu, and found McDonnell Pest Control. I'd had okayish service with Terminex in the past but Danny looked to be just what I needed. Gave him a call, explained what was going on, and he helped confirm my worst fears (yup, they were in the soffits). 20 minutes later and I could see them noticeably decreased and the nest gone. Checked again the next day (and the next, and the next) and the yellow jackets have disappeared. Kids and I can roam the yard freely without fear of getting stung. I have utilized the services of Foxscapes since not that long after Nathen started the Company…read more Projects Included: a number of mulching and weeding projects; sculpting then-existing berms; adding a large berm for flowers that merged in with existing berms; and often berm cleanup when the seasons changed. The most exciting project has recently been completed. My neighbors and I jointly funded a project that changed a large berm into the start of a project to grow Michigan-only wildflowers. The flowers are all perennials selected for their color and blooming cycle... but even more importantly the wildflowers were selected to attract bees and butterflies, and other little creatures. My neighbors led the project. Foxscapes provided multiple plans for flower selection and placement as we learned more about options. They found out where to buy the rarer plants and planted them. We had worked with Nathen to set a project price before project startup and that was the price at project end. This is why I have written so much. First, my experience with Foxscapes has covered many years. It has covered projects like mulching small areas to the Michigan wildflower project mentioned above. At no time have I been disappointed in their work. I have been extremely impressed with their people and their work ethic. There have been small bumps along the way, but none have been of much consequence. Most important to me is that I have never, not once, had reason to question their integrity.
