Unfortunately, I missed out on their blackberry season that happened in May. In addition to the blueberries that were available for picking, peaches were sold in bushels placed on a table in their "store".
Sometimes the owners are there to receive the money, and other times they run a honor system. Pencils were provided to write on the envelope to place it into the wooden box.
The prices and size were posted on a sign the minute you walk inside. They were very reasonable, and fair compared to other farms. It was a hot sunny day, so the hubs picked quickly, since he tends to get sunburned and cranky lol. I'm the opposite, so I picked to my hearts content:)
The blueberries were fresh and smaller than I'm used to. It tasted sweet and a little tart. The best part of it all, was that it was organic! Nowadays everything is sprayed, but this farm doesn't do that:)
We revisited a few more times for picking. I knew the season was coming to a close, and needed some more to freeze. I made some cakes, and muffins out of the blueberries which lasted a few days. I sort of wished, I picked a large bucketful, cause as I'm writing this there is no more in the freezer. I'm sad lol
We will be back!!!!
