I went here yesterday to get an oil change for my car. At first, I was a little skeptical about this place because all I did was pass by this place on the daily and just saw cars parked, but my dad recommended me that they had $17 oil change and you can't bet that deal. So, when I walked in I was greeted and told the guy at the counter that I wanted an oil change. The guy was nice and asked for my name, number, car model/year. He asked for my keys and I asked him how long would it take he said only 15 mins. Not bad! Not bad! I then took a seat in the small gas station where they had four comfy chairs sitting side by side, with car decor, snacks, drinks, and lots of magazines. The inside looks like half gas station half car service place. I told him it was a nice set up they had, and the guy said "Hey, we have to have something on the inside because the heat outside is just too much." I looked at a People Magazine for about 15 mins, and then ding my car was finished. They even parked my car outside of the door. Very well service, and for an affordable price too! read more

Michael promised my car Tuesday afternoon and it was ready ontime. Recommendations for further exploring repairs were provided. Costs were acceptable. Work was proper and complete. Edit also one week ago had inspection there. Mechanic commented my lower control arms were make a "worn out" noise. Same diagnosis made by other mechanics months ago. Michael proposed repair, scheduled it and completed as promised. He will have more work done to bring suspension up to standard. read more

Horrible I called to get a break down of the price he quoted me and instantly had to deal with an unprofessional attitude. This is my first and last time coming to this place. When I came to pick up my vehicle still there was attitude and I'm not sure why. He said he dropped the price but I didn't think an attitude is necessary when a customer is asking for information that they are entitled to. The most unprofessional place i ever took my car. Then I had to go get cash to pay for my car. read more

Do not come here for an oil change! Even though, their oil changes are $21 they do not do a good job. I've came to this place twice for an oil change. The first time I came I pulled up at a pump and a man walked to my vehicle and asked for my keys (without any consent). I walked in and there was an Indian guy there with gold earrings and gelled out hair he was so rude and disrespectful to me. I waited in the tiny store for my vehicle to be ready while waiting the guy behind the counter watch me the whole time like I was going to steal something. When my vehicle was ready the guy used spit (saliva) to apply my window sticker, which to me was disgusting! He also added too little oil, so my vehicle was acting crazy. Before I came here I didn't have an oil leak, but it seems right after I left my vehicle has a leakage. So, I came back up there told the guy and the Indian guy wanted to charge me more money to add more oil, when they was suppose to add 5 quarts the first time. The man doing the oil change is older white male with glasses and blackish gray beard may sometimes where a bandanna. At this point I was frustrated and felt ripped off. So, ignore it and drove home, told myself I will never come back. The second time I came up here after I found out NTB couldn't take me, I came here I figured they would have changed. So, this time when I pulled up (at the same place by the pumps), was told to move my vehicle. The guy told me to park my vehicle in the lanes ahead. When I walked inside the Indian guy wasn't there thank you God! It was the owner of the Texaco, he was nice and very calm. Although, the place very tiny lots of people was crowded at the door, so it we crammed like sardines. I told him what I wanted and he told there's one other guy in front. So, I waited. The owner walked out a couple of times leaving me inside by myself. The atmosphere was just great, so I felt confident the guy last time was not there. Lie, the guy who changed my oil last time, changed it this time and messed up again. This time he added too too little oil now my vehicle is having a hard time cranking up and always smelling like bad oil. When I checked my oil it was no oil on the dipstick, nothing. This place seriously needs to get a new oil person or stop charging for oil changes. If they don't know how much oil goes in each different car. Next time I will be doing my own oil change instead going to this place! Not good at all!! It's not hard to add 5 quarts to a vehicle, I mean why would you mess up on a vehicle that's not yours. It's like a job, your still getting paid for the work that you are doing, if you getting paid minimum or high it's all on the guy changing the oil. I guess he hates his job and does poorly on oil changes or doesn't have experience nor skills to change oil on a SUV! Why mess up someone else vehicle and act like you knew what you were doing! WTF?! Don't go! read more

Love this place. I have always-always had the best customer service and help with my vehicles. I use them for all my oil changes and inspections. I had a low tire warning come on in my car so I pulled into a Kwik Kar location across town on Wallisville Rd . There were no other customers and all the techs (4) were just sitting there doing nothing. Two of the young men told to pull around back and they began to check my tires and fill up 3 of them but it did not make the light go off. The manager of the store came out and told me to go to Discount Tire. I asked him if they could just check the last tire and he said, " No, we charge for that service." I told him I was willing to pay and I already had a $10 bill in my hand to offer the guys for helping me, and that I just needed the last tire checked... he said, No, go to Discount Tire. I left and went to my local Texaco on Hughes and told them the story and he was appalled. He checked all my tires, put the correct amount of air, and checked for nails, plus he told me if I have any problems with the light or pressure to please come back and he would help me figure it out...free.. I gave the $10 to my local Texaco guy that helps me anytime/all the time. I will always take my oil change business and service needs to this place with the best customer service and the person who has respect for anyone needing help. Thank you for being consistent, dependable and kind. read more
