Great spot! Was looking for some small white rock and small lava rock for a planter I just built…read more The yard is kind of small but it's organized down to a science! They have literally everything contractors could possibly need from sand, P gravel, stone, rocks, brick, decorative concrete pavers, large landscape boulders, mortar, everything. I didn't need much, as my planter is only about 7' by 2' max, and I was afraid that maybe they didn't do small sales - but they did and I was able to fill 2 5 gal buckets when what I needed :) I was able to find small/ medium white rocks and also brown lava rocks. The Only thing they don't have is small black lava rock but they do have that in a medium size :) The younger guy that works there also offered to help me get my stone together. Chivalry is not dead folks LOL! So that was appreciated. I don't know what I was thinking, by showing up without a shovel, but they let me use one of theirs.

Wish that when we did our whole home remodel we knew about the YARD - would have been awesome to have them in our corner. ALSO, they have relationships with phenomenally talented and professional artisan/fabricators. They connected us with Enrique Ramirez, and WOW! What a guy - gave us results that exceeded our expectations by an order of magnitude, delivered with adroit and sensitive focus on our needs and schedule. Quality of Enrique's work was superb, and price was mind-blowing terrific. Wish I could give six (6) stars. Use the YARD and ask for Enrique on your project!

If reclaimed wood had a Disneyland, it would be E&K Vintage Wood…read more I used to practically live at their old Venice Boulevard location and bought enough reclaimed wood there to build a small village (or at least dozens of my art pieces that people now think I'm way more talented than I am). So walking into the new location -- nine years in and thriving -- felt like coming home, but with even better lighting and more wood species than my inner lumber nerd could emotionally process. The selection? Unreal. Every plank has a backstory. You don't just buy wood here -- you adopt it. And Jean? Absolute legend. So kind, so knowledgeable, and somehow magically able to translate my chaotic "I need something rustic but not too rustic but also dramatic" rambling into exactly what I needed -- right under deadline pressure. Even my Frenchie, Sage -- who wakes up angry every morning and would take a bazooka to a fistfight -- adored her. If Sage approves, that's basically a Michelin star. I walked out with the perfect pieces, my deadline intact, and zero splinters to my dignity. I will absolutely be back for more. Because let's be honest... once you find good wood, you stick with it. (Respectfully.)

The value of the damaged materials exceeds $8,500, and the lack of action has caused significant delays and disruption to our project.
