Our hotel restaurant was not open at 3. Then front desk suggested this local restaurant down the street. It's pouring rain outside. We were glad it wasn't too far and it's open. It's a local family restaurant Food was decent. Tapas were large; nothing delicate about them. The carne con tamale was good. So was bacalao plancha con pisto. The pechuga pollo plancha is essentially grilled chicken breast with fries. We should have ordered a tapas size espinacas con garbanzos instead of the full ration. We were full! The food, while decent, was a bit on the oily side. Our bill was comparable, if not more than, to what we paid for similar but better tasting/presented tapas we had at Taberna Aquilas in Seville or Casa Lola in Malaga. However, we were thankful to find food on a miserable rainy day. read more
