Whenever I need to waste a little time, a pack of gum or something to read while traveling I stop in here. The staff are always helpful.

I'm "pro-entrepreneur" and read your issues for (at least) two reasons: to make a search for…read morepurchases; and to see who's advertising their services/products. I remember an interesting piece I read in a marketing class at college years ago... your editing reminds me of things that "hit home" about career choices. I have believed since that discovery (that) entrepreneurship is an "underwriter " for independence, self-determination, and rewards. I cannot advertise my small-business in a better way than to put myself in front of 170,000 folks who are also seeking to purchase something, and trying to gain a marketing foot-hold for services and products.

Downtown Subscription is usually busy, but the early morning hours are a bit quieter and you're…read moremore apt to find a quiet corner to read/write/set up workshop or meet up with a friend/colleague. It can get quite crowded in the winter time, but they do have an outside patio/courtyard that does open up a bit more space for seating come spring/summer/fall. The staff has been friendly in my experience, I can't say that I've ever had a negative experience thus far (knock on wood). Some random information: ~ A water station is available, which is a plus. ~ Parking is available, however, at busier times, you may have to find street parking and do some walking. And the best information: ~ If you happen to be a reader, there is a bookstore near by (Garcia Street Books) that opens around 10am, I believe. Coffee and books is always a win, a double win!

A nice café next to the bookstore Garcia Street Books, located at 376 Garcia St, Santa Fe, NM…read more87501. The space is large, and you can tell many locals gather there regularly, giving it a strong community feel. The service was okay: a man taking orders and handling the register was friendly and cordial, while the woman making the coffee was a bit dry in her demeanor. However, the coffee was excellent, so that didn't bother me at all. The croissants were soft, warm, and very tasty, a perfect match for the coffee. The café also features artwork hanging on the walls, (looks like they like cats very much ) and a small section of magazines and newspapers near the entrance, which I really enjoyed. The location is excellent, right next to a independent bookstore, making it a great stop before or after browsing books. Overall, I recommend this café for its quality coffee, relaxed atmosphere, and convenient location.
