    What I purchased.

I typically love shopping here. I also usually spend a lot of money when I come and get a decent amount of stuff at once. The older lady employee who weighed out my seeds, herbs, and powders was making comments the whole time about all the other stuff she has to do, as if weighing out my stuff was taking too much time. Keep in mind I only got 6 different powders/herbs. Then she kept apologizing to a customer WHO WAS STILL SHOPPING, for the wait for check out. She literally told the employee "I'm still shopping" and the employee still made it seem like a big deal to weigh out my stuff while the gentleman rang me up. Seemed like she wanted to make me feel bad for her having to weigh out my stuff.

Are you kidding me? This amazing book, gift and spiritual supplies store is the very strong hold of all you might need or perhaps something that you didn't know you needed in Albuquerque. They have a feast for your eyes and heart of crystals and minerals, jewelry of all kinds. The smell of incense wafts throughout this wonderful mecca. From Fred Solls resin incense(made in the east mountains) to Japanese joss sticks and Morning Star and please don't forget the Nag champa! Down the next aisle there are Tibetan bowls and bells and pillows to rest them on. Candles, candles did anyone say candles? All kinds! Tapers, mini, votive and 7 day. Enough? Nope. PILLARS! CARDS YES! ALL kinds! Greeting, very cool collection. Tarot? Why of course and every other deck imaginable. And they have lovely bags to put them in. I could mention every various and sundry but then your visit would not be exciting and filled with joy.. ah hem(clearing throat before finale). VISIT...HAVE FUN AND OF COURSE SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SAGE AND SWEETGRASS DEALER!! How possibly could I not mention (whisper) you can have a psychic reading with a very talented group of psychic ladies and gentlemen! Please enquire!

This is your store for the spiritual mind. You can find gems, candles, books, incense, and other items. The staff is very earthy and friendly.

(I'm immunocompromised so could not make the trip myself or answer the door but they rang the bell as I'd asked.) They made the candles fresh for my order it seems and they smell just lovely! Very pleased with my purchase and the service. Definitely recommend this business.

Went in today and this place is awesome! Had some Overwatch gear that I didn't even know existed…read more(socks??? Yes please!) and a ton of other stuff. I got 2 clearance items at the "buy one at marked price and get the other for $1 sale - a Deathstroke wallet and a lovely scented candle. There's tons of fandoms worth of stuff in there and it's like a fans dream come true. The employees were so nice and helpful and it seemed like if someone was helping you, that person was your team member, because the same girl found me again just to make sure I was okay and when I was checking out they asked who had helped me. The girl at the register was also very nice and we talked Overwatch for a bit! It's great having nice employees at the helm of a fandom related store. I felt welcomed and I felt at home there. (could use a bit more superhero merch, but I think a few of the shelvings may rotate over seasons etc) And the concept? Oh my god, it couldn't be better! To give a portion of proceeds to feed the homeless is amazing. I'll have to take a look and see how they're doing it and see if there's other ways to help. Love love LOVE this place!

Went into the new store in Albuquerque today 1 Nov 16 at 8:30pm. First impression, totally sucked…read more Wandered around the store for about 10 minutes. Just me in the store. Nobody said a word to me. No "Hi" or "Can I help you" nothing. I walked around. I stopped at a few items for a closer look. But, with no concern for me, why would I want to spend money there? I was excited for a new store to open. Liked the idea behind it. Quite the let down. Wouldn't be surprised if it closes soon. Because, the two ladies that were there could care less about helping anyone. Unfortunately, the idea behind the store, where a portion of what is purchased goes towards feeding the homeless, (Found that out on the website) will suffer with these two at the helm. (Could be a good selling point for employees to greet you and tell you about the company's goal.) The Homeless will stay hungry with them working there. Sorry, honest opinion. There were a couple of other guys in there, and sadly, I think they were being trained by the two that were there. Might consider some close supervision and a little remedial training for those employees.

I've been trying to do more bookstore lurking since I moveed here but there aren't that many good stores here. I love the Friends of the Library way up in Rio Rancho but that's a long drive. But I had a doctor appointment which happened to be a block from here so I checked it out. The first thing is that you know this is a book lovers book store with staff favorites right in the front. The main thing is how many stacks and categories they have. If you're looking for books about NM and the South West they have multiple shelves. But they also have tons of speciality shelves like Pulp Fiction and Romantasy. It's a great place to spend hours lurtking the stacks. I've been twice since I discovered it.

This is a great bookshop, among the best in Albuquerque. Definitely worth regular visits. I love…read moreit. I don't feel, however, that I can recommend that anyone sell books to them. They offer a pittance. It is really insulting, actually. A couple of years ago, I brought a couple of boxes of books to them (the kinds of books you routinely see on their shelves, so nothing strange) and accepted their offer out of what I later came to see as a misplaced sense of politeness: their offer had left me so stunned that I just went along with the whole thing and accepted it. Almost immediately I felt ripped off, taken advantage of. Later, I had to go through and clear out a dead relative's library. It took a long time to sort through, but at the end of the day I had around 40 boxes of books. I'd taken out the valuable things to sell online, I admit, as you should never sell the really valuable things to a used bookstore when it's easy enough to do so online. These were things like signed first editions and presentation copies and other rare books. There were a few boxes of those. There were also about 15 boxes of books that would have gone down well at Page 1, given what I know of what they have on their shelves. And the rest were rather more obscure. But I remembered how I had felt a couple of years ago when I had sold books to Page 1, and I decided simply to give all of the dead relative's books, minus the particularly valuable ones, to the public library. They always benefit from selling them, and I felt I'd done something good toward protecting one of the few remaining institutions that is still a purely public good. So, while technically I didn't get any money, I ended up feeling better, cleaner. Thank God for our public libraries! You should of course do what you want, but, when you take a box of books into Page 1 and inevitably feel horrified and sullied by the humiliating price they offer you--perhaps thinking you'd get more out of the books by burning them in your fireplace in winter to save on heating costs--, remember that you can just say "no" and instead donate them to the library and help make the world a better place for everyone.
