I don't live in Albuquerque but love to visit the Blue Eagle! There is always something I am looking for & great place to pick up a gift. Prices are good, I would rather spend money here than online. Employees are kind and have always given me the attention and information I desire. read more

First time visiting this store. Every time I pass that shopping center on Juan Tabo I've seen the sign. I was very curious about what it was. Since I was driving I could Google or check Yelp. By the time I stop somewhere and have time I'd long forgotten lol Honestly I wasn't sure if it was a bar or a restaurant. I had some downtime and was in the area so I just had to stop in to finally find out. Walking in I was quite surprised. It was a very unique store carrying specialty oils, incense, and a lot of unique figurines and crystals, and so much more. It was quite a delight! The staff was so friendly. I exclaimed how it was my first time visiting and they were very helpful throughout my stay. I have to say their oil selection was quite extensive. I may have to try them someday. Next time I'm in the neighborhood I'll be back! read more

22 yr old Granddaughter here visiting from Fort Worth TX. She told me she wanted to go to Blue Eagle. Laughed asking "what the hell is that"? She show me their website & I responded "well of course we can go there". too much to list what they have, but just go to website & you will be amazed. Funny thing is wife & I spent more money than she did. They have many specials & a reward program. Very unique items, I even laughed at the special bumper stickers. This is a must stop for incense, Wiccan, other faiths, crystals, cards, etc... read more

Lovely space. Sweet staff. Great energy. Fair prices. What more can you want? I left with candles and a smile on my face.

I went looking for a singing bowl. Asked the guy if he had root charka singing bowls. Seeming inconvenienced he replied "no". I then asked, "what is the frequency of the singing bowls you have? He replied with a smug chuckle... "I don't know". Rude, unwelcoming, lacking knowledge, inconvenienced, smug. I was going in there to drop $300-$500 on a singing bowl but was met with a self-satisfied disrespect. You are better off ordering from amazon. Shop owners don't appreciate it when people shop locally anymore. I am never going there again. read more

I've been coming to Blue Eagle since they were down on Central some twenty-something years ago??? This is my favorite bookstores and one of the only metaphysical stores in ABQ. While there are others, this is my favorite. They have an array of products from candles, to books, to gems, jewelry, meditation aids, etc. The store is well-organized and well-stocked. Readers are also usually on site with appointments available and when available, walk-ins. Just an overall fun experience and a place I will continue to shop for all my metaphysical needs/desires :) Sign up for their newsletter for updates about new products, holiday celebrations, etc. read more

I typically love shopping here. I also usually spend a lot of money when I come and get a decent amount of stuff at once. The older lady employee who weighed out my seeds, herbs, and powders was making comments the whole time about all the other stuff she has to do, as if weighing out my stuff was taking too much time. Keep in mind I only got 6 different powders/herbs. Then she kept apologizing to a customer WHO WAS STILL SHOPPING, for the wait for check out. She literally told the employee "I'm still shopping" and the employee still made it seem like a big deal to weigh out my stuff while the gentleman rang me up. Seemed like she wanted to make me feel bad for her having to weigh out my stuff. read more

It's a lovely shop with a nice assortment of merchandise. The staff is helpful without being overbearing. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised at the affordable price of many of the crystals in the shop. I bought a small tarot deck that I didn't need just to support this enterprise. I will surely stop in from time to time. read more

Great staff, always very helpful. Really good selection of anything metaphysical that you might be interested in.

Always love Blue Eagle. Knowing they moved i had to visit the new store. It feels like Blue Eagle always has, just more room to move around.

The kind of place the owners will learn your name and fellow customers will offer recommendations while you browse the wall of books. I love this place. They have a great selection of tarot and oracle decks, silver jewelry, crystals, candles, and almanacs. They will also special order books and decks if they don't have what you want in stock. In my opinion this is more than worth the few dollars you could save using Amazon and finding your new spiritual tool in a dirty mailer on your doorstep. The sense of community at this store is truly wonderful. I've met several locals who have been coming here for years. read more

Tons of books, tons, from Anti-Christ to to Zoroaster. A place that could wear the title of "book store" proudly. Prices were high on knick-knackeries & chotchkies, but that's normal for these kind a joints. Buddha / Celtic / Hindu / Wicca singing bowls, the whole bit. Worth a visit 4sure. read more

This is the go-to place in Albuquerque if you are shopping anything metaphysical. The staff are super friendly and are even willing to help you with whatever you are looking for. They have a big selection of tarot cards, and if you're a beginner like me, the lady was willing to help you recommend what deck might work for you. They even have classes on weekends as well as psychic readings for reasonable price if that's what you are looking for. read more

I'm really disappointed in this shop. I've been shopping at blue eagle for years and I happily drive the 40 minute drive to and from my home because blue eagle was the only reliable metaphysical shop in Albuquerque. However, my recent visit was so horrible I won't ever shop here again. I'm a mother of two, my youngest being 4 months, going any where requires a full day to plan out. So we drive all the way across town to go stock up on our favorite items. We pull up to an empty parking lot 1hr before they close and I get out my toddler first then proceed to get my baby strapped up in the carrier. We walk up to the door and I don't even have a opportunity to fully open the door before one gentleman shouts no children are allowed in the store. Mind you, there were no other customers in the store. Just the 3 people working and none of them were even wearing a mask. That's not even why I'm bothered. I literally park right in front of the door and I took a good 5 minutes to get situated to walk into the store so this guy could have popped his bald head out the door and tell me I can't come in with kids. Which is such a ridiculous rule. What am I supposed to leave my kids in the car. That's so awful and such discrimination. The owner needs to reconsider that rule because some of us are trying to raise spiritual children who love to shop for their own crystals. read more

I am a total fan of Blue Eagle. I have loved this store from when it was located in the Scottsdale Shopping Center. I always find something that I love. If there is something that I want, but they do not have at that time they will order it and call you. Just walking into the store makes me happy. Mitch and Spencer are wonderful. They are always so helpful and trust me they know what they are talking about !!!!! I have purchased everything from Angel cards, to stones, to candles, to beautiful cherub statues. They have a full range of choices. I love the fact that Blue Eagle is locally owned and that the owners are always so great. They make it easy to fall in love with the place. read more

Blue Eagle is my favorite place to shop for gifts: jewelry, crystals, wind chimes, witches balls, incense, cards, calendars, crystals, salt lamps ...and much more. Can't decide which jewelry piece to select? Spencer is available, and happy to research the properties of the stone to help you make your selection for that loved one. Mitch is just as informative, warm and friendly. I love this place! read more

Just left this place and I really like the vibe here. No one up your ass, you're totally welcome to explore, and you also don't feel intrusive to ask questions. Very friendly staff. HUGE book selection (which included shadow work- what I was looking for). I'm looking forward to getting a reading in the future. Picked up quite a bit. Lovely space. read more

I'm new to ABQ so it was very refreshing to meet Spencer & Mitch (co-owners) and have my questions answered in a patient and caring manner. There is a little something for everyone in this store...Books, Incense, candles, pendulums, tarot cards, oils, herbs....this list goes on and on. Prices are very reasonable and if there is something you need but not in their inventory these lovely folks will order it for you or point you in the right direction. I was referred to a FANTASTIC gem & mineral store by Spencer for some harder-to-find items. read more

The owners (and their darling dog), are friendly and helpful in this well-stocked little store tucked away in an Albuquerque strip mall. Don't be deceived by the bizarre, mid-century exterior, Blue Eagle has a nice selection of books, incense, oils, crystals, magick supplies and more, catering tp all sorts of religious traditions. Trust mr on this, I live in Taos, I know my "woo." The owners are adorable, too. read more

This place is amazing! There are fantastic things everywhere you look. The staff is always impressive with their knowledge. I have seen some customers ask some pretty obscure and interesting questions and they always seem to handle it well with a genuine interest in helping people. I come in here often, I usually find a little something that I can't leave without; so it is a fun place for me to just browse. But when I need a unique gift, it is the first place I go. The place is packed with dragons, faeries and Egyptian figurines. They have seemed to have a bit lower prices in the last year or two, so they have a bit of an edge on their competition. They are absolutely more organized than other metaphysical book stores. I love this place! read more

Great selection and great prices. I had read some of the yelp reviews and thought I'd stop in here on my vacation. I was not disappointed. From statures, to books, incense, herbs and candles, to tarot decks, stones and jewelry, to other gifts, this store has whatever you might be looking for. And the prices are reasonable.
