This dentist office is absolutely horrible. I am not the type of person to leave reviews, but it must be said they are extremely unprofessional and the dentist. there not thorough. They missed a dental infection for five years, which caused me to have bone loss. They managed to put a crown on a tooth without doing the root canal and removing the infection. Every time you go they will try to put a crown on your teeth, even if it is unnecessary. They missed blatant signs of a dental infection but are able to tell an old filling needs a crown interesting. When you voice your concerns about the improper care they argue with you even in you've got a second opinion already. They failed to provide the standard of care that is required for the Ohio dental board and I will be reporting. read more

Dr. Irina Yarovitky was my attending dentist and my initial reason for coming in was jagged edges in my teeth that I was feeling on the back right side of my mouth...She did an examination and determined that I needed a crown...It took several weeks for the crown to come in and they even had to reschedule one of my appointments because my permanent crown come in yet...Meanwhile, my temporary crown came out and I actually had an issue with the fact that most of the work done at the clinic was performed by dental assistants and not the actual dentist. Anyway, the permanent crown finally arrived and Dr. Yarovitsky "Assisted" the dental assistant who did most of the work cementing my tooth in and then told me not to eat on that side of my mouth for two to three hours...I didn't eat on that side of my mouth for around six hours...Well that "Permanent" crown came out as I was eating breakfast after being implanted well over a month ago...I went in to see the dentist and let her know that I was disappointed that my crown came out and her response was, "Things Happen!"...Just like that and I said well it was supposed to be a permanent crown so I don't think it should have happened and she said, again, " Things Happen!"...I told her that I didn't think that was a professional way to respond to my concern...The Long and Short of It was this was the worse experience I've ever had at a dentist office and I wish I had never gone to this Hudec dentist office.. She never really even properly addressed the jagged edges of my teeth saying she would have to remove part of my teeth...0 out of 10 on professionalism and my satisfaction with the work done on my teeth... read more

This Hudec Dentist Office is Absolutely Unprofessional & a Money Grab! My Husband went in to get a Simple Filling because the other Filling ran its course. They Took nearly 20 X-rays of his Tooth unnecessarily.. and Insisted he get a very Pricey Root Canal! After He refused to get it.. the Dentist argued his point until my Husband Relented to allow him do a Pain Cap Filling.. Which only made the Situation WORSE!! My current dentist was booked for 2 months so I decided to try Hudec Dental for a quick routine cleaning. I told the hygienist I had not seen a dentist in a few years but had no current problems. Before she took X-rays she asked if I've ever had a deep cleaning...suspicious. In this open on both sides space, with no privacy she discussed the X-rays and pointed to my problem areas. I don't have a trained eye and there were no examples of a good X-ray to compare. I laid back in the chair, she turned the suction on, I could not hear a thing she was saying thru her mask. I just knew the cleaning would begin but she did a periodontal probe that was the WORST experience ever, so much blood in my mouth that the suction didn't get it all, so she gives me small cup of mouth wash because the water I asked for is "tap water". She tells me I have a little gingivitis, loose teeth, swollen gums (after the probe) and five cavities! She wants to do a deep cleaning on the spot, and I said no just a cleaning. She says it will be difficult, but she'd try. After the cleaning, the assistant invaded my personal space, she literally was a foot away from my face while I had to look at her backside as she stood at the computer inputting data! How do they not know this? The Doctor comes in and suggest scheduling for the proposed work. My co-pay was the max because they charged my insurance the max for the visit. The proposed work totaled over $2200! Now, my history is this, I have all my teeth plus the wisdom teeth and not one cavity ever. I've had two Dentist over the past 40+ years, one said I would only see his assistant because I was easy, the second joked about not making any money off of me. I was furious and scheduled an apt with my previous dentist. Without stating Hudec's findings he found no cavities, he did a probe, no deep cleaning needed and said to schedule a cleaning twice a year. Get a second opinion! read more

I have had the most unpleasant experience since I switched to this dentist office. And while the staff are friendly it is far outweighed by the numerous other frustrations I have encountered. I went in for an exam and cleaning and they told me I needed two fillings. So I proceeded to schedule that appointment for the two fillings. When I arrived for that appointment I waited for a half an hour past my appointment time and finally said something the receptionists who were shocked that no one had come to get me. Once in the chair I was asked which side I was having done..obviously confused I inquired further. They said I needed 7 fillings, a root canal and a crown. After recovering from the shock I was in, we proceeded to do two of the filling which by the end of the appointment turned into 3 fillings. I left from my three fillings and was in excruciating pain for a week so I called for a follow up. They couldn't find anything wrong with the fillings but adjusted a mouth guard I wear which has not helped but I have not been able to get an appointment as my dentist has been on vacation for 2 weeks. I have two more appointments scheduled the first for the root canal the second for another filling. After the shocking diagnosis I went for a second opinion and decided to cancel my root canal in order to move up the filling as I am in massive amounts of pain on that side from the needed fillings well as from the previous fillings on that side. I called to move the filling up to the day/time of the root canal appointment and was told they could not do that. I am suppose to come in the for the root canal and hope that the dentist agrees to doing a filling instead. They refused to cancel my filling appointment as if to say the doctor will insist on the root canal which I do not want done at this time. I feel that I am not a patient just a mouth that makes money for them. My time nor needs have been taken into account. The customer service and lack of communication has caused me to start looking for another dentist office. read more

Why do I even have to give one star? HORRIBLE! The ONE DENTAL HYGIENIST THERE, who I will be reporting to State Attorney General and Board, was so rough with my teeth. She did it twice and I said, please can you be more gentle? She made my gums bleed and acted unprofessional, and literally just stood up in the middle of my cleaning and left and slammed the door in my face. Not worth it, I am going to a real professional dentist's office. If you are a professional, you can not just leave. I am truly in shock. read more

I had an amazing experience, it been a while since I have gone but the staff was amazing, very easy going, the great thing was they had a translator which was the manger who speaks Spanish, and she was a very sweet person. I went to Garfield HTS hudec for two cavities. The dentist numbs my " nerves " four separate times after prenumbing with some lollipop stick, which I thought was excessive. When half my lips are numb but not my teeth, the "doctor" claims I am special case and need to go to Metro health to get put to sleep. Never had any problems in the recent past, so I conclude she missed badly with injections. My jaw is now in pain from the terrible practitioner of dentistry. She probably nicked my nerve. Please do not go to this or any hudec location. Go to Solon Smiles, they are much better! read more

You leave out in more pain than when you go, person doing fillings walks around the entire office and I didn't see her change her gloves, they overcharge you and tells you that you need so much work and when you go to get second opinions, that's never the case! read more

Dr Glowski and his staff are amazing!!! I don't like going to the dentist, but Dr Glowski has a great way of relaxing a patient with his humor and patience. Never have I experienced any pain from him and I would recommend him to everyone that I meet. This world needs to be blessed with more dentists like Dr Glowski. The staff at this location is fantastic too. They are very patient, kind and accommodating. They know that people don't like coming to the dentist, and they ensure that their patients come first. I went to Hudec dental in Garfield hts, and I had a wonderful experience. The front office processed my paper work with no hassle. I had my teeth clean by dental hygienist Ashley. She was very gentle and answered all my questions. Ashley was empathetic to my concerns and made me feel very comfortable. They booked my appointments around my schedule thanks to their later hours. I have had a very bad experience with this office and its owner. They misinform you of pricing, telling you that things are covered at 100%. When they are not covered at all. The manager at the Garfield Heights location is rude, and doesn't show any kind of regard for a persons concerns. The owner is also not understanding, of peoples concerns. I had an appointment, and was informed that a procedure was covered at 100% by my insurance. This is the only reason I agreed to get the procedure done. Turned out that i was misinformed by the technician. I spoke to the office manager, and explained the situation and that i felt I shouldn't be responsible for this bill. He got very rude with me over the phone, yelling at me you will have to pay for this. I called several times, trying to get in touch with management. Finally after a few weeks the regional manager, got back to me. Saying that the owner said they could adjust the bill in half. Which i still feel is not fair. I finally got a chance to speak with the owner. All he could do was blame me, and say all i wanted was something for free. All i want is to be treated fairly. If i had a business and told my customer something was covered at 100%, and later found out it wasn't I would not of charged them. read more
