They had a hygienist and a receptionist and that was it running the whole office. Now I have an appointment and I've been sitting here 50 minutes after I was supposed to be seen at 11 o'clock in the morning and still have not been called back. Contrary to popular belief people have lives and when we set an appointment time, that's when we expect to be seen or shortly thereafter you can keep this place. I'm done.

I have been going to Dr. Petroff since 2005 when I first moved back to the Cleveland area. I had…read morenot had the benefit of good dentistry for a long, long, time, frankly because it didn't exist where I was living. After my initial exam, Dr. Petroff sat down with me and as gently as she could, gave me all the bad news. I was in shock but she told me we would start with the worst things and move on from there. She also said she would work wirh me on the financial aspect of all this bad news. Because I had no dental insurance she worked out a payment schedule I could manage which was great. Dr. Petroff and her amazing staff are the best that could have happened to me! 13 years later, my teeth ar SOOOO much better! A lot has been done but i have had complete trust in Dr. Petroff and she has never let me down. When my Mom was still alive, Dr. P could see that she had some dental issues but my Mom was 85 at the time so i worried about what should be done. I needn't have worried. Dr. P made a dental plan and then did her best to repare her existing dental work as much as possible to keep th price down for her but still provided the best care possible. She was so kind and gentle to Mom. She made her feel special. I would advise anyone who is taking care of an elderly relative, to bring them to Dr.P. She is also amazing with children! She has what I call the Amazing Dream Team to back her up. Denise at the front desk can work out any scheduling problem and she has the most incredible smile! Georgi is the most amazing hygenist I've ever been too. The rest of the Dream Team are truly the best, most caring people you could find in any dental office. I could not possibly recommend Dr. Petroff's Office more highly. For me, she and her Dream Team have made all the difference! They literally saved my smile.

Dear Southwest,…read more Hello. I went for a consultation with Dr. Estemalik in July 2020. He examined my gums and stated that I have gum recession on 14 teeth, which would require gum grafting. I received the 1st gum graft for 4 teeth in Nov 2020. Dr. Estemalik and the office were calm, nice, and explained many things to me. I was treated well and was glad to be in the care of Southwest. I paid the co-pay. Insurance covered the rest. I asked the office about warranty; they stated that if the graft falls apart in under a year and if the patient properly follows post-op guidelines, then the office would provide a replacement graft at no charge. I felt confident and comfortable working with them. I don't know how, but part of the graft collapsed in less than 2 months. I followed the guidelines well - no hard foods, used the antibiotic, avoided sugary drinks, did not chew on the surgical site. I believe Dr. Estemalik and the office did their best to provide a good graft; they were professional, punctual, and understanding. In Jan 2021, Dr. Estemalik examined and stated that a replacement graft would be required; he diagnosed the 1st gum graft as "collapsing." I received a replacement (2nd) graft in March 2021. This graft integrated fully and I am pleased with that. Thank you. However, I was charged for it (over $2000) and paid out-of-pocket. I was confused. I thought they said that a replacement graft would be covered? I called them, explained the situation, and requested a refund; they refused. I still had more teeth that required gum grafting, but I felt distrustful about returning to the office. How can I continue working with them when they choose to not uphold their integrity? I called Southwest again and expressed my concern. I asked to speak directly to Dr. Estemalik; he chose not to. The front desk said "the office would never have covered a replacement graft at no cost" and "Dr. Estemalik does not remember agreeing to this." I asked for a copy of their 2020 warranty, but did not receive it. I asked for a written explanation of why the office refuses to provide a refund; never received it. Although I have called and emailed them multiple times over the course of 5 years, we regretfully cannot come to an understanding. They did treat me kindly, and helped greatly with my gum recession, to which I say thank you. I am disappointed that they refuse to fulfill their principle of integrity and provide a refund. The services I used include cleaning and multiple fillings. I must admit this is the first dentist where I have never had problems with the fillings years after the service was performed.
