I was seen by an awesome staff that had me scheduled for an extraction the following week. Extraction day is here and I am nervous to what to expect. I paid $30 to get the NO gas. It worked surprisingly and calmed me down. The dentist came in with two large q-tips with numbing gel on them and put one on each side of my mouth. A few minutes later he pulled them out. All numb by then he said I would feel a little pinch as he went in with the needle to numb the tooth. I closed my eyes so I didn't get frightened by looking at the dental needle. He went in a few times with the needle and I did not feel the pinch I did not feel anything. He left and came back in about five minutes. I was good and numb by then ready for the procedure. He laid me back and worked his magic. He pulled out both sides in less than ten minutes. Very smooth like he was driving a Cadillac. I felt pressure but no pain. The assistant gave me my prescription and a few post surgery instructions and I was on my way home. It was overall a pleasant experience. I recommend this dental group. When Dr.Pecora died unexpectedly Dr. Iliff stepped right in to take over the well developed practice. I have had nothing but awesome experiences throughout my lifetime at this office. In fact, to this day, I actually enjoy going to the dentist and look forward to those two visits each year! Dr. Iliff's office is immaculately clean and the technology is up to date. The staff, most of which have been working in the office for as long as I can remember, are highly professional and very sweet. Every time I come to the dentist the ladies who work in the office make me feel at home. They know me, my family and important details about my life. They always remember what is going on in my life and are quick to ask me how things have been going since my last visit. In fact, when my grandmother passed away last year (she was a patient there too), the Doctor and his staff sent me and my parents (who also go there) a sympathy card. Little things like that are much appreciated in my book. I always feel that they do a thorough job when performing my 6 month exams. They are always gentle and when I leave I don't feel like someone jammed an ice pick into my mouth for a half hour.
