Won't stop calling me after I told them I wasn't happy with service. I got my tooth cleaned and tried to get my wisdom tooth removed.

As someone who hates going to the dentist, I still give CLE Smiles a thumbs up and definite…read morerecommendation. I started coming here 7 or 8 years ago while living in Lakewood and have kept returning despite moving to the other side of town. The facility is clean and comfortable and they always have HGTV playing on the TV's which relaxes me a bit. Dr. Niki is nice and efficient. She talks pretty fast and isn't really an over explainer, but I feel comfortable with her treatment plans. I don't feel like I've ever been pushed to do any unnecessary procedures and she is very thorough. All of the dental assistants have been very friendly and professional. They really talk you through the procedures and aren't annoyed if ever you need a break. I took off one star because I did have a billing problem once. At one point before the pandemic, I had to get a ton of fillings which were supposed to be sent to my insurance. Basically they quoted me incorrectly because my insurance had maxed out but I never knew the difference that I was supposed to pay out of pocket. After that, I continued to patron the place, playing for a teeth whitening 100% out of pocket and thinking that my account was all paid up. Just earlier this year when I went in for a cleaning I was told that I had a balance due because my insurance didn't cover all of those fillings from years ago. It was pretty frustrating because I was never contacted or sent a bill. Luckily, we were able to resolve it and I was offered a discounted payoff amount, which I appreciated because it was an error on their part and could have been dealt with a long time ago. Their new billing manager Kelse went over the entire bill with me more than once and I eventually understood/was satisfied with her explanation of things. Overall, I definitely trust CLE Smiles with my dental care. I sought out this business because I wanted to support a female dentist at the time and I am happy I did.

I had her two fillings. Now, I am in chronic pain. I went to her twice to get them adjusted. I had…read moreno pain before she touched my teeth. When I went the last time, she nonchalantly said I may need a root canal. I did NOT need one until she touched my teeth. She showed no empathy. She messed my teeth up. I do NOT recommend her!

If you want to know what real customer service is like, then take a visit to Advanced Dental Care…read moreand Aesthetics. It just blows my mind how I was treated in a respectfully and courteous way as soon as I walked into the door. I was greeted by the front desk who was very kind who then introduced me to another staff who offered me coffee and gave me a tour of the facility which was clean and very up to date with equipment. Every person that I met was very friendly and was always introduced to each of the team involved in my care. I do not have dental insurance, but their prices are affordable and definitely cheaper than most dental offices in the area. They accept most dental insurance if you plan to use your dental insurance. I ended up choosing their dental plan which was within my price range that fits my needs. I highly recommend Advanced Dental Care and Aesthetics to anyone who wants to be treated with respect and receive real customer service. The entire staff are outstanding and amazing! I scheduled my next appointment and I cannot wait.

Then the implant chipped right away so now I have to have it filled at a different dentist. i was so frustrated I just lived with it being chipped for a while. Also, I was being treated with invisalign but for some reason the dentist decided to make a physical mold for my braces so I would have had to come back in for them to scan me for a new retainer simply because they did it that way. It made no sense why he did that. It was a waste of time and energy for me. They wasted so much of my time and energy, not to mention money. I left there in tears half the time.

Since moving to Cleveland last year (August 2017), I needed to find a new dentist. I choose Dr Ross…read moredue to the close proximity to my apartment. I had a great experience here. Scheduling my appointment a few months ago was a breeze. I actually initially was supposed to come here in March but I had to cancel the appointment. I was able to get a new appointment for June (today - June 9th). I walked in today and was greeted by the receptionist Amy. I had being in contact with Amy before when I called the office. She is super nice and friendly. She answered a bunch of my questions. I had already filled out the new patient form and emailed it to the office a few months ago. So once I arrived here, all I had to do was hand over my driver's license so a copy could be made and then wait to be seen. DENTAL WORK -- One of the assistant's (Angela?) first took ex-rays of my tooth. She then removes plaque buildup and cleaned my teeth. Next, Dr Ross came in and looked at my teeth while touching up removing plaque. I asked about my x-ray and he stated that everything was fine. I had lovely conversations with both the Doctor and his assistant. This is a family friendly dentist office. The waiting area has some books and magazines to read and even a few toys for kids. This building was a former house and previously used by another medical business before being turned into Dr. Frank J. Ross's office. I'll be back for my 6 month checkup. Until then, I gotta floss, floss, floss...lol. **** This is my 116th Yelp review overall. 70 reviews for 2018. I am aiming for 100 reviews in 2018.

Holy moly!! Are those other reviews legit? Every compliment written in any of the previous reviews…read moreis the absolute opposite of my experience with this practice. Seriously! I felt manhandled! His hand kept slipping and as a result I was essentially whacked in the face over and over again. And please: if you're going to be nipping/cutting pieces of tooth/jawbone on a patient who is awake during a procedure, please preemptively inform your patient! The novocaine shots were by far some of the most excruciating I've ever received--I was nearly on the ceiling; why didn't he apply the topical numbing beforehand? SMH. It felt like he blatantly disregarded the fact that I was 100% lucid & fully awake--had I been put under anesthesia, I'd be none the wiser. He is witty and borderline snarky, I'll concur on that point. Maybe if the front desk set a more welcoming tone instead of giving off strong vibes of "I'm annoyed at the world" the dynamic could begin to shift. Even the following days, I was still feeling the pain. It would've been helpful to be informed that my weekend was going to be lost because I was going to need to be on the couch, applying ice packs to my jaw. Clearly communicating to patients would be so helpful
