When I got there, there was a bit of a wait because the others had appointments. The nurse called me back and walked me through everything very calmly. The nurse helped me feel safe and valued with her care and jokes throughout the entire experience. I saw many regular patients going in and out; they all seemed to have great relationships with the front desk and doctors. My doctor was a little tough to understand, but the second I felt any pain - they would stop and apply more anesthesia. From sitting in the doctor's chair, going to get x-rays, coming back and waiting for two separate doctors, then doing the procedure... the whole process took about an hour. They sent me home with clear instructions and medication that made my first wisdom tooth extraction so reassuring. After insurance, we got all 4 wisdom teeth removed for $117! I expected at least $400! Great dentistry, I can't wait for another check up just so I can converse with my favorite nurse again!

My teeth had been an ongoing issue for me, part genetice, part neglect ( I was teriffied of the dentist and avoided going) but two years ago I decided to do something about the pain and discomfort, so I contacted Clear Choice in Cleveland, Ohio for a consultation. The appointment was one of the best decisions I have ever made. At the consultation, they took full 360 degree X-rays of my teeth and jawline. They were able to clearly show me what was going on with my teeth and what could be done about it. I finially felt empowered with this information to make an informed decision about my dental health and I decided to move ahead with a full set (upper and lower) implants. You read a lot about the cost of the procedure, I had already spent countless dollars on root canals, bridges, crowns, etc..... The crowns and bridges either fell off or did not sit correctly in my mouth, thousand of dollars for NOTHING. When I saw what the implants could do for my dental health and my smile, I felt it was time to finially put myself first and deal with my fears. I felt the price was fair and I really did not want some "discount" dental shop selling me implants, I wanted the pain and suffering to be over! It was been two years this August since I had the implants, the whole process from beginning has been unbelievably positive. Dr. Ali Kanawati is what every dental professional should strive to be, compassionate, knowledgeable, understanding and nonjudgmental. EVERYONE at the dental center was professional, respectful, kind and caring. The customer service is phenomenal. My implants were completed in two stages, first the lower teeth were all pulled and then the temporary implants were screwed into place. Then about four months after I came back and had the uppers done. I choose the two stages because I was so nervous, but looking back that was unnecessary. There was very little pain, no brusing and from the moment they were screwed in, the implants looked great. I returned to the implant center yesterday 6/11/2015 because I noticed I was grinding my teeth and wanted to have them looked at. This visit is what was prompted me to write this review, nothing at the Clear Choice Dental Implant Center in Pepper Pike has changed, Jenn (sorry I do not know your last name), Dr. Kanawati, Mary and everyone else who works there, THANK YOU. The Novocaine shot didn't hurt at all and then the dentist worked quite a long time drilling through a metal cap where my previous crown existed. As usual, I experienced no pain during the entire drilling process. By the way, it's times like this when a dentist's small, gentle hands are much appreciated. I paid my "deductible" after the procedure. Three weeks later I get a bill for more than $250.00 and on the same date get notice from my insurance that some claims were denied. Why? It seems multiple billings for procedures that are normal part of another billed procedure. Called dentist office for explanation: "Nothing wrong here, it is your insurance and you agreed to pay us if they didn't." BEWARE! I relied on them verify insurance before doing the work.
