I scheduled an appt. for my son for his first ever dentist visit during the T-giving holiday break. I got a call the day before the visit to let me know that dentist was not going to be in the office. I rescheduled for the following week. I received several text notifications about the appointment, including one at 2:07 pm for his 4 pm appt. I arrived early to fill out paper work, but found the door locked and the lights were on. I knocked, but no response. I called twice and it went straight to voicemail. I also sent a text message in response to the one I got. When I was leaving, I saw that there were a couple of employees in an office whose attention I attempted to get but was ignored. The next day, I received a phone call from the office explaining that the office was closed because the dentist was not there. The person on the phone said they called all the parents and I told her I didn't get a call; she said they must have the wrong number or something (remember, I got a text confirming the appt. 2 hours earlier). She also mentioned that the staff was nervous about me knocking on the door. When I expressed my concerns she was dismissive and combative. This office is disorganized, the dentist is unreliable and apparently they have no problem lying to their customers.

The…read moreexperience was great and welcoming until I was side tracked with a bill 6 months AFTER my service and being threatened to go to collections from a first call, making me aware of the bill. I had fillings completed in MAY of 2025 and I paid for my services before I walked out of the building. I got a call in DECEMBER threatening me into collections if I didn't pay $30 which was "left over" from my bill. I had questions, naturally, as to why I'm just now getting called about a balance that I THOUGHT I paid at the time of service in May. NOT TO MENTION, I just had another regular cleaning appointment in NOVEMBER and was not advised about a lingering bill or balance that I needed to pay!! She told me they just got the insurance coverage which is why they are just now reaching out to me. Nothing of what the lady said to me made a lick of sense. I hung up and I called my insurance company and they sent me over information showing they paid their portion in JUNE... but I'm getting called with threats of collections in DECEMBER! I called Innovative Smiles back asking to speak to a manager and the same lady got back on the phone- NOT SURPRISED! I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. $30 is not a lot of money but how this all went about- UNPROFESSIONAL AT THE LEAST! NEVER AGAIN. I have a hand full of friends who attends this dental office- I have advised them ALL against giving this unprofessional company another dollar! I am a manager myself, and have been for the past 9 years with a very high end company at a corporate office and this was worse than any Mc Donald's services I've ever received. I was handled like a dollar bill, period. No customer CARE- No customer SERVICE- No empathy or apology... because this was an obvious mistake on THEIR end for their lack of follow up and attention with billing. Just unprofessional!

    The oral surgeon did not introduce himself to my face and barely looked at me. He used so much…read morenovocaine in the soft palate that the swelling due to the volume of fluid injected felt like it was going to close off my throat. He broke the bone on the check side of the molar he was extracting. I was spitting out fragments for days afterwards, and the office tried to tell me that was normal when I called in. I got no instruction, verbal or written, about post-extraction care at home, just "you can take that out in 30 minutes" with a wave towards the huge wad of gauze in my jaw. My only recommendation is to stay away.
