The place was 5stars so we said wow let's stop here. For all of you statistics buffs this is exactly the problem with a small sample size. There were only two reviews when we stopped. Alright to start it off if I could put it a negative star but I can't. The food tasted like ass and the workers need to go back to middle school with their iq level. Can't get an order right or remember anything. There floors were sticky. So get this they told us to sweep and mop the damn floors and do the dishes. My son ordered 2 chocolate chip waffles and he got 3 plain pancakes. My cousin ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and got some cheese bread. They also charged us more for a bunch of ass good we didn't pay for. Horrible service. The food used to be wonderful and the service as well. Of course now they are limited seating for the safety of customers. I can in and was told to wait which I did. But then a family was snuck in by a waitress hrough the side door and seated 45 seconds after being told there were no tables. The general manager did not care and yelled at me about covid and how I should be thankful they are even open. I usually don't leave negative reviews but I simply just wanted to be treated nicely and this place doesn't care apparently. GMs should at the very least have manners. Not once did I cuss or say anything derogatory about him. After a long 12 hours on the road, we needed good food. NO MORE fast food. And this 24 hour diner was the perfect place for a late night breakfast. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. Cooked 5 breakfasts up in no time! Don't hesitate to stop! read more

I want to start with saying that the food was perfectly advertised and served for what it was. Inexpensive food, that's southern cooked. However, while the staff was friendly, they seemed inexperienced. I overheard a waitress mention that she was the only one there that night, and that was the truth. She also mentioned it was scheduled that way, so this wasn't a one time thing. All of this happened after the 10 minute search for a table because out of the 15+ they offered, none of them were clean. We literally had to wait for someone to clean one off while we shared the restaurant with a lonely man at the bar and a woman sitting in the corner. There were dishes on the table that looked like they'd been sitting for 2-3 hours at least. I also had to have my husband go to the women's room to change the baby, because there was no changing table in the men's room. Again, food was exactly as advertised. Hot, cheap, and cooked in butter. I ate my meal without anything to drink, had to get up midway to get a refill, and then I had to ask for my check. All while our waitress sat behind the counter looking less than pleased about piled dishes. read more

So we came in around 10 or so on May 18, 2019. This is a Friday night. The tables were dirty and we wiped it ourselves. The service was terrible and we somehow had two of them. My food wasn't cooked correctly and his was delivered without gravy as requested on steak or potatoes. I sent mine back a second time only to deal with what I got the third time. Actually worse service and food I've had in quite a while. I will be back just not on this shift. I've eaten here before for breakfast and it was complete opposite. Pretty much the Waffle House of Leitchfield (Waffle House is in Louisville). The hashbrowns are okay but everything else is pretty mediocre. That's honestly the only reason I go there, which is rare, is for the hashbrowns. It's always very crowded when I go and I hate that smoking is allowed. It can get pretty loud too. If you're looking for top quality...I would look somewhere else. If you're fine with an average meal and average service, this is the place for you. read more

I wanted to try this place for years and it ended up being the biggest disappointment. It was a little crowded but I think the real reason the service was slow is the waitress was complaining to almost everyone about how she didn't want to be there. That she was 73 and wanted to quit work but her kids didn't want her to stop the money train, etc, etc. Both of the orders at the table were wrong. But the waitress didn't come back until we were over halfway through with our meals. And she sidnt speak to us. Just a quick water refill and she was gone. Food was mediocre. My family used to love visiting Leitchfield Huddle House. In fact, we used to go at least once a week, with a few weeks we went up to 3 times. Since the staffing changes our visits have slimmed way down. I think we have been 3 or 4 times. With our experience getting worse. When we first met the new manager he was kind and seemed to truly care about his customers. Our second encounter with him he was a totally different person. And this is before any of the covid-19 was an issue. A customer had a complaint and they were discussing it, I have no idea what the issue was but the next thing I know the manager is walking away and very loudly and over and over again saying "I don't have time for this shit." One of his waitresses ended up in tears that day because she was left with the aftermath of his rude and unprofessional behavior. Is that family friendly, I'm sure most kids hear worse from their parents but that's not the point. Today, (March 16th) we walk in and automatically get an unwelcome feeling. We sit down, 1 of three customers and I believe one of the customers were employee family. It takes them some time before they come and ask us if we need a menu and what we want to drink. She brings us drinks and then a menu. At this point someone else pulls in and you hear a very aggravated "Here comes another". Someone mentions not having coupons, and the manager says "If you don't like it you can go home". My family ends up leaving, I don't wanna eat at place that makes me feel unwelcome, and again this was going on before anything came about with covid-19. The manager is rude, unprofessional, and obnoxious. My family will no longer be eating at this huddle house. I apologize to the awesome cooks and waitresses. You all don't deserve to work in a situation like that. For you all and future customer's I hope things get better. read more

We stopped at Huddlehouse in Leitchfield, KY. Mike was our server. He was very nice and paid attention to my grandson who has ADHD and was not having a good day. He took time to talk to him and tried to make his day better. We also appreciate the attention he paid to getting our order right. This was on Christmas afternoon. The restaurant was busy.
