This place is not friendly at all. My family & I are visiting from out of town & went for breakfast. The workers did not acknowledge us in any shape or form. They looked at every table & took care of them with smiles but kept looking away once their heads kept turning in our directions. This is probably a small town so if you're a minority dont go here. For me, I always ask "light on the butter" they try their best to accommodate my requests. "Bighouse Platter" is my "go-to" most of the time with the "MVP" at a close second. I may do the "Western Omelet". Occasionally an egg sandwich or the "Classic Huddle House". Been going here for over two years and the waitresses know to get me coffee when I first sit down because I need a few before I decide what I'm in the mood for. Kind of like being a regular at a bar and I don't have to ask; they just know my routine. My wife Ivonne and I stopped in for a nice Valentines lunch today, and we were greeted by the maitre de who escorted us to their finest booth. With the shades drawn, he accidentally lit the tablecloth on fire. That's when I grabbed the fire extinguisher and tried to spray out the fire. When I sprayed it, pancake syrup came out of it instead of the regular stuff that's supposed to be in there. The maitre de exclaimed, "What the- what is this sticky stuff? What happened to this thang? Someone must have bamboozled us - I'm calling the cops!" So he left us to grab something. When he came back, he had a bucket of water in his hand. He spilled it all over the table, then walked over and grabbed a roll of caution tape and covered the booth in the caution tape. He led us to a booth a few minutes later, and we were laughing so hard. This was the greatest Valentines lunch of my life! read more

Workers have boyfriends and babies over during breaks. Very unusual and unprofessional. Servers have no urgency. Takes 10 minutes to get an order taken and then the food takes forever and a day. What do you expect for cheap food though read more

Sat outside for an hour after ordering before I had to go in and be told 'We don't do curbside'. They should have called or came out and said something instead of leaving me waiting. They had my car description and phone number. I'd even tipped them 15% earlier just to hand it to me. read more

It took forever to see a waitress after we were seated. Then we ordered our food and it took about 20 minutes to get our drinks. And another 45 minutes to get our food. There was a little bit of a crowd. But I've been to waffle house when it was twice as crowded and had my food in half the time. The service was very friendly though. read more

I put a star only because im posting a review! This place is filled with servers that have no respect for their self. The things that my family & i seen displayed from the servers was terrible. Every single waitress needs to be fired! Alcohol smelling waitress cursing,talking about drugs & sex in front of children. Second time being here and nothing changed! I'm so proud of our little home town Huddle House. The food is always great especially the waffles. The staff are kind, quick to respond, and greet everyone who enters. They are kind to the homeless as well as those who can pay. I enjoy watching them do their nimble ballet as they work the counter and floor. Thank you to them all. What a way to break into my first Huddle House experience. I thought it was just a Waffle House wanna be but there are plenty of similarities and few differences between the two. The breakfast pound for pound seems just like the Waffle House. From the scrambled eggs, the jalapenos with hashbrowns, the french toasts, all tastes like Waffle House. The dinner menu are night and day between the two. They serve all kind of itis like bbq, meats with scrumptious sides. Definitely a fan of the Huddle. Grade: B read more

We ordered for delivery. took over an hour longer than indicated and received a pancake and a box of hash browns out of an order over $50. My husband and I worked over 12 hours today and were looking forward to not having to figure out dinner since we had t been to the grocery store this week. instead we were left with an inedible pancake. literally. there were chunks of stuff in it that you couldn't even chew. I tried calling for oder an hour and no one will pick up the phone. if I had $50 to waste anytime I wanted a screw up, I would definitely order from here. save your money and go somewhere else unless you want food poisoning or someone else's floor food read more

We recently camped near Jackson at Indian Springs State Park. We planned to cook breakfast campside on a griddle, but a drizzly morning prevented that. So, we drove in to Jackson and saw Huddle House. What a great experience! We were greeted and seated very quickly. The menu offers so much. We love Waffle House, but Huddle House has so many more items. Our server was fantastic. And our food (including my husband's order that took up his entire half of the table) came out perfect and within a few minutes. Wow. I noticed that as many folks came in, the staff knew them and called them by name. A dad and daughter came in. The server asked if they wanted the usual and if Mom was joining them. I was impressed. Our server came by often enough without hovering. She was engaging but not overly talkative. Some time later, my husband realized he didn't have his cell phone. He drove back over, and a cook said, "I figured you'd be back." Honesty like that makes you feel good. We highly recommend the Jackson, Ga., Huddle House.
