My first job was at a Chick-fil-A and I have always been a COMPLETE shill for the company since. I knew there were other storefronts in Georgia, but this was the most convenient location - placed right along the highway on our drive home. We didn't have breakfast, so it gave us more of a reason to visit and dine in. The host was amazing and such a southern sweetheart. We were sat and addressed promptly! The chicken and waffles were absolute bangers - just LOOK at them! I was not expecting a normal Chick-fil-A operation next to the restaurant, but it didn't interfere with our service at all. They have an amazing train theme in this location - with normal CFA guests being able to sit in a train-car! They also sell merchandise and I just HAD to get some stickers to go! read more

So today I pulled up to what I thought was a regular Chick-fil-A, but it turned out to be a Truett's Grill and Chick-fil-A combo, which was a pleasant surprise. Inside, there's the standard Chick-fil-A setup, but there's also a separate sit-down section where you can be seated and have a waiter. That alone already made it feel like a completely different experience. You can still order off the regular Chick-fil-A menu, which is nice, but they also offer an expanded menu with items you won't find at a typical location, like omelets. What really caught my attention, though, were the sides. They had Brussels sprouts, fried okra, and this candy-yam-style soufflé, and every single one of them was absolutely amazing. I paired those with a three-piece chicken tender meal, and everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. The service was excellent, which honestly is exactly what you'd expect from Chick-fil-A, but it still deserves to be said. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel welcoming. I've always seen this place driving through but never stopped in. Wow! The people here are so nice. The inside reminds me of Steak 'n Shake on the restaurant side. The other side looks like a regular CFA. I ordered a regular salad with chicken. The portions on the restaurant side are slightly bigger but the pricing is about the same. My food came quickly. Very nice and clean facility. My first time dining in at this restaurant. I have always used the drive thru. I had the chicken strips with Mac and cheese and fried okra and corn bread with lemonade. When I arrived, I couldn't figure out where the line started and ended. I finally figured it out, but decided it was taking so long for it to move that I decided to order online. It was at least 15 minutes to get chicken tenders and fries and it was 10:00 - not even rush hour. Very disappointed. read more

I have been wanting to try one of these soooo bad and luckily there was one right in the area while I was visiting Woodstock, GA. This restaurant had both quick service and sit down service and the sides were separated. I was so excited about the chicken & waffles, I had to get them!! They cooked the waffle exactly how I like them, thin and crispy but still fluffy in the middle. The chicken was amazing as always. We got fried pickles for an appetizer and I got to try Brussel sprouts and cornbread. It was so fun to have all these options at Chick-fil-a. I heard there a Hawaiian themed one located in Georgia as well and I think it would be so fun to visit that one!! read more

They don't have this concept in Oklahoma which is a shame. Love the background music. Trolley car with seating inside. Service is excellent per the Chick fil A standard. Food is standard CFA fare but the Truett's grill menu expand the offerings. My fave is the Hot Brown which was creamy, cheesy delicious. read more

I am a faithful Chick-fil-A customer and normally very impressed at how clean the restaurant normally is. Today this was not the case. The counters need a good wipe down. No where had napkins. I literally asked for napkins just so I could put something go. The counter to make my coffee. Please do better. I am going to take a break from getting anything here. read more

Visited Truett's because my son wanted Waffles but to our surprise you can only purchase them when you dine in however, you can purchase fries at this location before lunch so that is a major star.The service was good the food was decent. read more

You guys! You can get fried okra and fried pickles here! They are super fast and the customer service is impeccable. We were hoping that we could go in but due to COVID-19 the dining area was closed but we understand it's for the safety of everyone. So I can't speak to the inside of the restaurant but I did see a cable car through the window and the tracks Jude pointed out while we waited for our pickles to be fried. Everything was super fresh and hot and delicious. (We got spicy deluxe chicken sandwiches, the kids got a 2 chicken strip kids meal with fruit and apple juice, a large waffle fry, fried okra and fried pickles.) Can't wait till the Rona is controlled so we can come back in dine in. We will definitely be back. read more

The service was exceptional and on par with other chick fil a's I've been to. I was surprised that they offered Brussel sprouts. They were the perfect amount of crispy, but I wish it would've came with some kind of sauce on top of it. The sandwich was crispy and delicious. Such a cute restaurant with the 50s diner theming! It was a bit confusing walking in, as my husband and I had never been to a Truett's before. When we walked in, we ordered and then had a seat at one of the tables. After we got our food and started eating, a staff member informed us we weren't supposed to sit in that section since it was for the full service dining (we didn't even know that was a thing at the time). First timers at Truett's. We are big chick filet fans, we've never been to this location. You can order from their standard chick filet menu at the counter, or wait to be sat in the diner area. We chose the diner area. Waitress was very nice and personable. The restaurant has a 50's decor, along with various unique features (there's a cable car inside, along with a telephone booth, an old motorcycle, etc) - pretty cool. I tried the hot brown and unfortunately didn't like it. It's chicken nuggets on the bottom, then cream on top, and then cheese and bacon. The cream is just odd, wasn't a fan. This location has the absolute worst service I've had at Chick fil A. We were seated and were not greeted by a server for more than twenty minutes. The family who was next to us had been trying to pay their check the entire time but couldn't get the server to help. We dined in at Truett's Grill a few weeks ago for dinner before seeing a movie. Truett's Grill offers a cool experience for anyone who love's Chickfila's food but wants to dine in or have premium items. They have waitresses and servers for a causal dining experience and they also offer the express side, which mirrors the experience of a regular Chickfila. Truett's Grill has menu options that you cannot order at Chickfila such as cornbread, yams, and greens and you order breakfast items all day. The place is whimsical and fun. They pride themselves on great service and the food is good. On this Saturday, they were partnering with a local organization to raise funds for a good cause. My son spun the wheel and ended up winning a free Chickfila breakfast card. We ordered two spicy southwest salads and a kids meal with macaroni and cheese for the little one. The salad was so good ya'll! I recommend that you add a pack of those crushed red peppers to set it off. Overall, I recommend this location. read more

Who knew about Truett's!? We were only familiar with Chik-fil-a on the west coast, and the Truett name didn't ring a bell (shame I know!). Truett's is a table service version of Chik-fil-a with a mix of fast food and plated options. It's the cutest place complete with retro decor and the brand's signature southern hospitality staff. I have yet to visit a chik-fil-a and not receive 4 star service; Truett's was no exception. I ordered the greens, fried okra, waffle fries, and corn muffin. Husband ordered sweet potato soufflé, greens, and nuggets. The greens were cooked perfectly; nice and tender, but they were 100% bland. The corn muffin was also bland, I was hoping for at least a pinch of sweet in the muffin to help the greens but that wasn't happening. The fried okra and waffle fries were good. I could've just had a plate of okra and called it a day lol. Husband did not care for the greens for same reason. Sweet potato soufflé was too thin, as if it were over-whipped. It also lacked sugar. Nuggets were good, husband ordered a second order a la carts lol. As first time diners, our waitress gave us a fried peach pie and a fried sweet potato pie. Dessert was the highlight of the meal, we looked forward to getting to the dessert round lol. Sadly my hopes were dashed, when the hostess apple pie looking pies were set in front of us. The sweet potato filling was delicious, and needed to be served as pie and not in an underwhelming, doughy, tasteless crust. No egg wash, no butter on top, nothing. The peach pie filling was tart and not sweet at all. I assumed we were getting a slice of pie that had been wrapped in a phyllo or pie crust down and quickly deep fried. Nope. Fun, retro style place to get your typical chick fila food with the same great service you get at a chick fila. The place ia set up for both full service dining and take out or quick service. I was disappointed that the cutest area, with a replica of a trolley for a seating area, was closed off to customers and saved for employees. Place was clean as a whistle, including the restrooms. Service was a little slow for what one is used to getting at other chick fil a's. Parking was big but busy and a bit hard to get around. Nice Covid related socially distanced tables. Team on the back seemed a little overwhelmed. My guess is that they were short staffed. Would like to visit again to do the full service, table dining next time. read more
