Restaurant is take out only since Covid. Don't see any moves to reopen seating area. Online ordering is convenient, with no service charge for pickup orders. Menu is pretty standard Chinese American fare. Clicking "extra spicy" will give you some medium heat-- but actually the hottest sauces in the area for fast casual. I like the Szechuan, hunan and general Tso's chickens, as well as the won ton soup. The hot and sour soup is a little thick for my liking. My only real complaint is that you cannot place your order until the official opening time of 11:30am, then the food is ready usually just before noon. I'd really like it if I could order earlier for pickup around 11:45 (since my lunch starts at 11:30).

Orange peel chicken and brown rice

We stopped in and picked up some For lunch since I was in this plaza at the Dental office Across the street. I walked inside and ordered the takeout and it was ready pretty quickly. We ordered the calamari, orange peel chicken with brown rice, and beef skewers. All items were hot and fresh with large portions. Would return for more.

Wife was at the beach and I had wanted to try this place and I'm glad I did. My wife and several of her friends from the neighborhood went to Myrtle Beach so I was left to fend for myself. No big deal but I get a chance to try some places I've been meaning to try but never got around to and this was one of them. Easy to overlook and relatively new, it's right up from a couple of restaurants we normally frequent. Needless to say, under these circumstances, easy to overlook. Walked in an basically deserted. Initial though was , not a good sign. A bit later, a young lady came out with a order for delivery. As such she promptly seated me, gave me a menu and took my order for hot Green Tea. Interesting menu and one of my elusive favorites was there, Mongolian Style Beef. Found on a lot of menu's and most have the little Chili Pepper indicating spicy and with heat, but most are devoid of any of the characteristic of Mongolian Cuisine. With reluctantly and with a hope for something better than what I found locally, I ordered the Mongolian Style Beef with Rice. While I waited, I studies the scene. Very few patrons but a robust take out and delivery service. I'll probably take advantage of the delivery service next time I order so that enplanes to low number of patrons at tables My meal arrived and it was everything I had hoped for. The proper amount of heat and spiciness and at the same time, plenty of beef and a proper balance of meat vs Veggies. The Rice was perfect and as for the Tea, I had ordered Tea the night before and it had had a burnt taste as opposed to the light fresh taste of green tea. This was perfect. All in all, a great meal and I will be definitely be back

Big clumps of breading :(

I ordered ALL WHITE MEAT and paid extra and got "all breading" literally no meat ruined my whole night. I will tell people not to come here.

sesame chicken and General Tso chicken, you get sesame seeds on your sesame chicken. Identical in appearance and taste otherwise.

Don't understand the high ratings. Every time someone asks on social media where the good Chinese is in Cornelius this place is mentioned. My sesame chicken and general tso chicken were identical in appearance and flavor, white chicken nuggets, boring. Only difference was sesame seeds put on sesame chicken. Thank goodness the pork steamed buns were delicious so had something to eat.

Egg drop soup

Very horrible restaurant. I used Uber eats and called to let them know what had happened and she told me to simply call Uber eats for a refund . I let her know that my child was consuming the undercooked food that is called popcorn chicken . She didn't apologize whatsoever. She simply said let Uber eats refund you . I'm new to NC and I will never again order from them again . Whoever answered the phone was beyond rude . I was simply telling her that for a business this was inappropriate. Also instead of egg foo young they gave me some red sauce in a cup with lemon . Highly disgusted . Wouldn't recommend at all . Very unprofessional and careless . This is a safety concern and others will hear about this . Throw the whole building away . Reporting to NC health department .

Tried this place for the first time last week and it was better than expected…read more Everything was great. Veggies and spinach bun was a shareable appetizer of 2 buns. Kind of reminded me of the texture of spanakopita in a bun. They were generously filled and delicious. Yangzhou fried rice had a mix of scallops, shrimp, chicken and veggies. Portion was huge, husband could barely finish it. I ordered spicy wonton in chili oil, and mini spare ribs in black bean sauce dim sum. Loved them both. Seasonings and spice level were perfect. I'd order those again. We also got a selection of dumplings - pork and veggie shumai, steamed potstickers, and crystal shrimp dumplings. Loved all of them. I love the relaxed vibe here. Our server was attentive, professional and gave us space to enjoy our meal with minimum interruptions. We were greeted when we arrived and she waved goodbye when we left. While dining, I saw quite a number of takeout orders picked up by customers and dashers, which is something we'll definitely do in the future. The dining area and bar are in one big room with huge windows that make the space feel spacious and light. Even tho it's one big room, tables aren't crammed together. Music is low enough to talk at normal volume. We really enjoyed our first time here, plan to eat here again and highly recommend it if you haven't been.

I went back to my car and looked up reviews before driving away. Most of the reviews were good. At that moment, I made a decision: "We're going in!" Even though 'we' is just me. Don't judge; I'm sure you do the same from time to time: consciously or subconsciously. I ordered a Quart of Wonton Soup (very exciting) and Roast Pork Lo Mein (pretty cool). The wait was 10-15 minutes and I paid ahead of time. It was $16 and change but the woman behind the counter stared with great anticipation if i would leave a tip. If I could go back, I wouldn't. For what? They're already marking up prices and this part was strange. Not a fan. Fortunately, the food was good. There were only five wontons (quart usually has 6-8) but it was very good!) The Roast Pork Lo Mein was also strong. It actually had too much Roast Pork for me. At this location, I might just get Chicken Lo Mein next time. But I have been seeing more TikToks with chickens on farms and they're pretty chill so maybe just Lo Mein. I would eat from here again. Hope that helped!

Let's be frank, this isn't gourmet food. It's simply takeout American Style Chinese…read more The restaurant itself is small, and decorated in an old fashioned way. The tables, booths, wall, and entire decor is dated and probably hasn't been updated in years. The menu board and paper specials look tired. I've been for the lunch special, and the food itself is cheap, good, and piping hot! For less than $7, I got a big portion of food with an egg roll on the side. I ordered the mixed vegetables, and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't stuffed with cheap onions. It had substance and flavor. Lastly, the service was speedy even though it was peak lunch time and other orders were clearly being made. Is this the place you take for a sit down date? No. Do you come for the ambiance? No. However, the food is solid and comes at a good price.

As printed on the receipt "Loong Asian Cuisine" is nowhere NEEEEAAARR as good as Dragon, and we're both SICK about this. Not going back. Poor taste & skimpy portions. $33 wasted. So sad. I still wish them luck, but we won't be returning.
